I'm trying to phrase something in a particular way to avoid spoiling some of the plot stuff (which does tie into magic a bit).

Would the preference be to lock people into a character at the start of the tournament (in that they can't use any others) or not? The alternative would be to allow people to select their character at the start of each round and they would have to be agreed upon by both duelists.
