Not even two pages in, and we already have a love triangle. Not sure if I should be impressed or terrified

-Evil GM cackle.-
Taking the spool reverently from the Seer, Argo did his best to try and discern the differences between the three threads. He'd had some practice in the arts of scrying, though his ineptitude in such matters was plain before him now. To him the spools seemed to represent different paths, each one twisting and entwining itself to the others, each contributing towards a common, if confused, mass. "Forgive me Seer, but I can draw nothing of importance from it. These strands seem to represent the lives of various people, though how they interact and what will become of them I cannot say." In a way, Argo felt that he was already failing. Something as simple as this first task had clearly shown his training to be not up to the task at hand. Still, he couldn't let that deter him from future venture.

Twisting over the massed threads in his hands, Argo's eyes once again turned to the fellow mystic, offering a question. "If the Seer does not mind, I would like to know what they think of it?" The shaman's hands offered the twisted web of threads back, fingers guiding the clump back onto the table before the Seer. Perhaps if he knew something of the Seer's methods it would be easier to determine the proper way to answer the problem.
Interested.
Before Mr. Evans could even finish writing the problem there was already a student rising from her respective desk, eager to put a finish on the admittedly simple equation. "'Ah, yes. Go ahead then." Amethystia was allowed to finish the problem, her own equation going into far greater detail than was required, such detail in fact that the teacher was obliged to stop her after the construction of an admittedly correct but irrelevant graph. "Good, good, you may take your seat. Now, what about --" Mr. Evans was left unable to finish this sentence, a bell rung and the loud-speaker came on.

"Mr. Evans you are to report to the faculty lounge. Your class will be let out early."

With a silent nod, the teacher replaced the chalk against the black board, straightening his shirt before addressing the class. "As of now you have thirty minutes free before youre next period, gym. I hope you'll use it wisely." With this, the teacher turned and made his exit, leaving the class to chatter and quarrel among themselves.

Elsewhere in the School

In a dreadfully dark room, two voice communicated with one another in hissing snarls, occasionally their utterances breaking into a series of high-pitched drones and crackles. "Your failure almost gave us away. What happened?" The first voice spoke imperiously, anger clearly emanating in its tone. "The quantum matrix was destabilized, I've fixed it now." "Good, don't let it happen again. After all, everything is predicated on our keeping this a secret. . .

And lel, Xander is off to a bad start with Li

For everything I just said in my post, I still believe in 'murica.
There was a pause, then a sly arching of the eye-brow. Li's attention was focused, turned away to face some insignificant enigma who, by their very words, admitted to knowing very little about him, his country, or his situation. "Well then, seems someone escaped communist camp, eh? Military....oh, my mistake seems someone loves the red stars." "One could say the same to you? Your insulting my nationalistic spirit doesn't impress me, neither does your ridicule of our economic system. Really, I'd think we'd both be friends? After all we both live in democratic republics? Or were you too stupid to remember we both use the same governmental model." With this, Li gave a simple cough before readjusting his uniform. Americans were always the most troublesome. They went out of their way to try and belittle others when really they should be looking inward at their own problems? Red stars? Really? With all the demagoguery and flag worship that emanated from that hated state? They might as well go back to blinding worshiping native American totem poles.

And they called him barbaric.
So terrible! You must be punished *gets out flowers*

He is an inter-dimensional space demon.
With some measure of hesitancy Li had decided to answer the summons of the mysterious letter he'd received earlier that day. It was not his normal method to partake of such dalliances, after all, there was always plenty of work to be done. Still, he was suitable ahead in his studies and secure in the knowledge that there were no pressing matters that at the current time were in need of his attention. Therefore the boy settled on visiting the hill more out of a desire to expend time than any real interest in what might be occurring there.

Upon arriving at the outskirts of the area his expectations were already dropping. What was this, some gathering of middle-school drop-outs? Sure, perhaps his arrogant attitude precluded the ability to see the vast depths of personal worth in others, but still, it was fact that those assembled on the hill formed a mighty motley crew. For a moment the asian hesitated; was it really worth the curiosity? After all, he might actually have to talk to some of these plebeians? It was only after Li caught sight of the angelic figure that he made a firm decision. That sight finally peaked his attention enough to investigate fully.

As the boy approached his manner of dress became more apparent. Li was clad in some kind of cadet dress uniform, military design clothing that was more for the purpose of everyday wear than combat use. Along his lower sleeves two gold bands signified his academic status, circular garrison cover completing the uniform. "Well, if it isn't the super squad?" His tone of voice was dripping with contempt, obviously he felt superior to the rest of the assembled peoples.
@RomanAria

-Apologies @ RomanAria.-

I didn't see your post before making my reply, my mistake. I awarded the point to Jozarin because they're post was made first. I'll add [your] post to the next round in addition to your next post when considering the next set point allocation~
