Eh, I'm not too pumped for it. I already went through my 1000 post anniversary thing long before Guildfall. Really I'm somewhere around 9000 right now. Once I get to 2000 I'll do a celebration because that will approximate to 10000 total. And that's a way cooler number.

It's back! :D I'd like to join with Emery again, although I might have to change her position since I had her as navigator.

Yeah, I made a slight change to the roster system. Emery was my favorite though... Speaking of roster, I suppose I'll make a little note here on the crew positions.

Little Note

If you thought this would be little... LOL Captain - In charge of the whole deal. Summer isn't evil or overbearing, but she is unquestionably authoritarian and what she says goes. Including people if they sufficiently irritate her. Often does the piloting work but can delegate it to qualified crew members. Don't expect too much help from her in a fight other than leadership, but she's damn good at that. First Mate - Essentially the Captain's muscle. While few are intimidated by Summer, all are intimidated by Weston. Serves diplomatic purposes and assisting the captain in keeping the crew in line. He essentially is the powerhouse of the Free Wind and serves as the last-resort. Most of the time, however, it is merely supervising work. Mechanic - Will probably catch a lot of flak from the Captain, but it's a part of the job. After all, with a big ship like the Free Wind anything and everything can break and it'd be a real shame to go down over the Sky Oceans where everyone will fall and be crushed by gravity. An invaluable member that will probably have their work cut out for them but at the same time get less micro-managing from higher powers. Quartermaster - In charge of overseeing and recording the storage, transport, and removal of cargo. As "cargo" is a variable term, particularly with the Free Wind's habit of transporting actual people as cargo on the occasion, this is a supervisor-type role. Large loads of cargo being loaded/unloaded will afford some assistance from other crew members (Gunners or First Mate) but small ones get no help. Cook - Pretty self-explanatory. Highly essential, like the mechanic, except the cook will probably get a lot more love than the mechanic due to the less threatening nature of the position and the daily output (provided the cook is satisfactory, otherwise they'd have it even worse). In charge of maintaining ingredients, making meals, and keeping the kitchen and mess hall clean. Doctor - Hopefully someone smart, otherwise Summer would have a field day everyday. Somebody to attend to sickness, injuries, or any other physiological needs of the crew. While a seemingly insignificant position the Doctor is a valuable position given the Free Winds bad habit of running into trouble. More often than not: violent trouble. Don't expect much sympathy for rush jobs. Scout - When a large, middle-of-the-road in terms of speed ship is in constant danger it sometimes needs a forward unit. The scout will mostly be in charge of manning the radar and assisting in navigation, but the most important task is to take a smaller, faster vessel at certain times to scout ahead of the Free Wind. Particularly when landing in "high-risk" territories or entering no-fly zones. Gunners - The grunts, so to speak. In charge of keeping the ship clean when nothing else is going on. But they are expected to be very useful in combat situations, both on and off the ship. The true guards of the ship that will man the cannons for naval combat and draw their swords (or guns or w/e) when the enemy is in their face. Probably have the most boring job 90% of the time, but will get the most action when the time is right.

Aubrey Marshall

Name: Aubrey Marshall Nickname: Hasn't obtained one yet. Gender: Male Age: 17 Age Appearance: Teenager Appearance: Personality: Aubrey was always one to stand out from the crowd. Whether by being loud and boisterous or by performing some daring act, he has a way of getting attention. He will often take on a tough, cool persona to make himself appear "cooler", particularly around attractive girls. However, most of his flashy behavior hides a compassionate side. In fact, most of his bravery is actually a well made lie, with a good example being his pathological fear of the dark. While he does pursue admiration, he also aspires for fortune. Though most see that behavior as selfish, the truth behind it links to his hidden compassionate nature. Though he can be quite a scrappy and energetic fellow, when the odds are against him he tends to be more cowardly. This results in him often starting fights that he ends up running from. Backstory: Though he was born into Crucible territory, Aubrey and his mother moved far away soon after his birth. This led to them living on Krukow. Though Aubrey would often ask about his father, his mother Melanie would simply say he was a good man and that Aubrey would be able to meet him one day. At the age of six, Melanie grew ill and was bed ridden. At first, the two relied on the support of the town to even survive. But as Aubrey grew older, he took it upon himself to take care of his mother. He had to forfeit his education to be able to have the time for oddjobs he needed to stay afloat. At the age of ten he began working in the lumber industry on Krukow island. Though his mother felt that he was being too risky with his own health, no misfortune related to his job ever came to be. However, one night as he walked home from the mill on a particularly dark night, a Rift opened right next to him. Due to the darkness, he failed to notice the danger in time and was attacked by several Rift Monsters. He was saved by the local Rift Hunter guild, Maximus, and brought home with only minor injuries. But what stayed with him was the fear of being attacked in the night. No longer willing to work the long hours, due to not wanting to come home late at night, Aubrey quit the job. At the age of fourteen he quit to pursue a surprisingly more childish endeavor: racing. The neighboring island of Kuiper was more industrial and had more money. The underground racing circuit appealed to his youthful and thrill-seeking nature. Though it was a gamble, one his mother also didn't approve of, Aubrey found that he could actually make a living this way. Soon afterwards he told his mother he quit racing, but in reality that was a lie. While she believes he works in the lumber yard, Aubrey has actually spent the past few years going to Kuiper once a week to win money. His skills on an air bike, one of the more risky and entertaining forms of racing, had made him a local superstar on Kuiper. And with that fame came problems. Though he quickly learned how to fight and to defend himself, there would be nights he would go home to his mother with cuts and bruises and not a penny in his pocket. But for the most part, he has been keeping her alive with the ultimate dream he could save up enough money to take his mother somewhere that could properly treat her. A Legion's roar came from above the Phoenix Wing members outside the palace. The winged creature landed across the courtyard from them, revealing four people standing atop, most notably the Edolas version of Beatrix. Though she still wore the simple t-shirt and jeans like before, she was now armed with steel gloves. "This is stupid," she said first, jumping down from the Legion. "Only a handful of them actually showed up. This will be too easy." "It is foolish to assume superiority over your opponents, but I have to admit this does look a bit underwhelming," the biggest man said, clad in armor while casually leaning a gigantic sword over his shoulder. The other two jumped down, both male and appearing somewhat scrawny with no obvious weapons. "What are the instructions for after we take care of them?" one of the twins asked. Edo-Beatrix shrugged her shoulders. "He didn't say. But it doesn't matter." Edo-Beatrix had a toothy, evil grin on her face. She slammed her fists together, creating a resounding boom and a few sparks. "You stupid people," she said, directed toward the Phoenix Wing members. "Believing you can change the future. Fate works against you. Even if you didn't have enemies on all sides you still wouldn't be able to do anything. You're a tiny guild, a relic." She brought her fists apart. "You will be crushed like bugs."
