"You have her eyes too" Cassandra said softly, swallowing again. She managed not to cry, and for that she was thankful. "I'm sorry you didn't get to meet her. One day, I'll take you to where she's buried though" It sounded so morbid, especially since it had only been a few months since coming home and finding her killed. "I know" She said, "Even without taking the blade out the sheath, I can feel it...I don't want it to master me, I want to master it, so I haven't drawn the blade yet..." She sighed softly, "I don't know how effective it will be, but...I don't want to lose control" She looked down at her marked hand, curling it into a fist. "Demon's murdered her. I won't become like that. I won't" She looked up, her voice hard and determined.

Lorenzo nodded a little at the thought of going to his mothers grave, the mother that he never really knew about to begin with but looked so much more like her then the mom that raise Lorenzo. Lorenzo looked at her and he flicked his tail back and forth "if you do then you will be awakened and earn all of this" he said referring to the tail and the ears and teeth. it wasn't all that bad to Lorenzo but it still got in the way of him having a normal life with other people but he drew the sword once and he knew how it felt to be in that rampage of power he needed to control the rampage so he wont hurt anyone he cares about. he looked at Cassandra when she gave the determined announcement to not let her flames control her and Lorenzo smiled a little at that "that makes two of us. since were brother and sister we should work together more"

At this moment you are now members of the tsubasa know this and be proud" Lorenzo said as he blew the candle signaling the end if the ceremony. "your both part of the clan now" Lorenzo said as the little demons came over to clean up the ceremony after them

"I was raised by my mother, and who I thought was my father, but obviously, he wasn't. He was an exorcist, sent to watch over me, and I guess to help guide me. Cassandra closed her eyes, which filled with tears, taking a few deep breaths to compose herself, "and found them dead. Another exorcist was waiting for me"She looked over to her sword, which she had placed on her bed, sniffed "he told me what I was. And that I should always wear the glove, and never draw the blade" she looked back to Lorenzo. "I told him I'd become an exorcist and that nothing would stop me" As he asked if he looked like their mother, she nodded, swallowing around a painful lump, reaching for the framed photo. "That's her" she said softly, handing it over to Lorenzo.Oliva watched, wary, as Reb faced the demon. Right then he just seemed like countless others before him-scared and out of his depth. Yet he still faced the demon, letting it bite him, letting not just his flesh be wounded but his spirit as well, to allow him to see the demon.Even before Ren let the demon bite him, Jez, the Tamer of the exorcists watching, was already headin out to try and bring the demon under control. Oliva followed, and with more strength then she should have, pulled Ren out of danger, letting hayley, the doctor, bandage his wounded hand.

Lorenzo watched as she told her story. Lorenzo made peace with his past but it seemed like she had it just as hard if not harder, he went over to her and gently put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. he was new to being helpful so he wasn't sure if it was the right move but it felt right to put hand on her shoulder to let her know she wasn't alone anymore. when she handed him the photo of their mother he looked at it with a small smile, "you have her eyes, I have her hair" he said softly thinking that this was so much to take in such a short amount of time, having a twin sister, both of us wanting to be exorcists but Lorenzo knew that it was for different reasons as he sat in a chair next to her and he said softly " you saw when I went to town on you during our fight right? well imagine that but with laughing and a bloodlust look in my eyes. to everyone that sees me that way I look like a true demon. I don't ever want to be like that, I want to prove that demons aren't evil and that we can be good people that want to protect others. although it doesn't seem like much coming from me"

Lorenzo sighed softly hearing him convince his girlfriend to drink by saying it was a toast but again he didn't want to deal with this crap after he just took a bath so he waited until the little demon light the candle to start the ceremony. Lorenzo raised his sake glass and started ""do you swear to fight as a member of the tsubasa clan and obey your supreme commander. Will you swear undying loyalty to me and follow me into battle?" Lorenzo asked them waiting for them to say they swear they're allegiance only to me before drinking their cups of loyalty so Lorenzo could drink his then make it official, he still didn't like this girl that was with testsuya thinking that he should just drop the dead weight while he still has a chance

it makes sense why were in the same room now, hi sis" Lorenzo said trying to test out saying that since it was the actual truth at this point and it didn't feel right saying it yet, way to soon. he sat back down and he decided it was time to figure a few things out "alright, since we just figured out were twins I think its time to share some life stories. although I lived with a normal family most of my life at least as far back as I can remember when I was a little kid, not sure about when I was a baby. a couple years ago my home village was attacked by demons and a doctor found me and took me in, by doctor I mean an exorcist he saw my birthmark and told me what I was and I told him that I wanted to be an exorcist. eventually he died to but I still wanted to be an exorcist. the sword I carry holds my white flames and I never want to draw it out if I can help it." Lorenzo said thinking that was a good summarization of what he went through to get here so then he decided to ask "do I look like her?" he asked softly meaning did he look like Cassandras mom since twins usually get their appearance from their parents if he looked like Cassandras mom then it would mean that they had the same mother and father

Cassandra found herself laughing, "you could" she agreed. She knew she wouldn't be able to keep her hand hidden forever, not if they were sharing a room. She needed to be able to take her hand out the glove, or she'd go crazy.So she stepped back, deciding that she might as well trust someone, and she carefully took the glove off her left hand, saying softly "here's the difference between you and me. I trust my instincts" she pulled the glove off, revealing the birthmark on her hand. Her hand was red, warm from the glove, and she felt relief at having it free from it's leather prison, even if it was only for a few minutes. The birthmark marked that her birth father was a demon. "You see, there has to be a reason why we are roommates-they don't generally put irks with boys, I imagine. Teens of the opposite gender in the same room? That's just a bomb waiting to happen really. So there has to be a reason"

Lorenzo looked at her and he was surprised to say the least as he sat on the bed to try and gather the pieces together seeing that birthmark he immediately looked at his right hand and he couldn't believe it himself. he actually had a sister that shares his problems that knows what it feels like to be a demon so Lorenzo stood up and first thing he did was let his tail out showing her that he was part demon "and you would be right, although im having trouble believing it" Lorenzo said softly as he removed his own glove a little red like hers and showed her his birthmark as well, the same one nearly identical meant that they were born of the same father and Lorenzo was a fully awakened demon compared to his would be sister. "demons in the same room doesn't seem so stupid now"
