@Wraithblade6Honestly I feel like that may end up being a point of alteration for this series. I think we might put vampirism as an entirely uncurable disease that replaces ALL of your cells. I mean I've done the opposite with lycanthrope which is instead just a person who doesn't have control over their morphologic magic and are changed by natural forces.

I think as a magic disease theres a bit more play room. On the other hand holding all these old rules and then changing that may be two steps forward and then two steps back contradictions.

@Witch Cat Vampire's have limited blood supplies (ergo why they need to drink blood). I can go into a whole backstory on that, BUT without blood you tend to have issues getting it up.

@Wraithblade6Well I will be as honest as I can be to let in ANOTHER vampire I really expect it to be. Vampires that aren't just mental hunters or have accepted the idea of being evil are not a common thing.

@Wraithblade6 THe bat's purpose is for daytime/sunlight travel. We also established that vampire's have an ability to be rather charming/manipulative. It's a more subtle addition to their personal abilities rather than them getting mind control or something really powerful. The focus is far more on the schools of studies. There are greater vampires, and THE vampire (vlad/dracula) does exist in this universe, and they get massively more power, but are far to dangerous to trust (and way too much for player character. All the characters are meant to show the average of a magic user at least for the start.)

Also one weakness they forgot is that I do enforce arthimomania. Vampires are deeply compelled to counter small things when they are scattered on the ground. IT's actually a part of old vampire myths that you can delay them by throwing grain or salt on the ground and they have to count every last bit of it. Basically you go nuts at beaches.

EDIT: as for other regions of vampires I'd need some references on other myths about vampire to make that call. I'm not gonna just say SA vampires get X ability while Asian vampires get Y ability because I say son.

@Witch CatI know that's why I'm reminding not scolding. (though size means a fair bit too.) I'm fine with the funny goofy chat so long as it doesn't fill my screen with images I'd rather not see while trying to work on the serious side of things. This case isn't exactly cheery.
