For one where would he get the materials to build that powerful of a laser and two I'm most likely going to base it off of days gone so I will explain more on what humanity's situation is with supplies and stuff like that
@PrincessVampora our characters would be normal citizens I doubt normal citizens can build a flamethrower that runs on plants also to make plants into alcohol it takes months and years furthermore if you've ever seen them need supplies alcohol has been mostly used up especially rubbing alcohol
