Appearance: He is scrawny and short for a cat. His fur is short and dark brown with lighter brown streaks giving the appearance of tree bark, hence his name. His eyes are Amber and piercing. He also has a scar on his right leg from when he fell onto a sharp rock as a kitten.

Brief Background: Born to the Craggclan Barkpaw has learned to move along the narrow ledges of the mountains. His balance is very good even for a cat and because he is the apprentice of the clans medicine kat has a limited knowledge of plants. How he even came to even be the apprentice was that his parents were out foraging when a rockslide happened killing them both. The medicine kat took pity on Barkpaw and cared for him and even made him his apprentice.
