The Final Wave

A young man walked through the deserted streets of Chicago he had been slowly making his way to Washington DC about four months ago. He frowned as he looked at the packs of nonworking cars once the EMP hit they became useless . He keeps his head on a swivel looking out for any predators or worse silencers.He remembered a time before the waves when he was going to live a normal life . Oh well he though that life was gone now and now he just needed to focus on surviving to the next day . Hoisting his shotgun on his shoulder in case he needed it he quickened his step cities always were trouble .
