Yugioh: The King's Shadow

Yami looked alittle confused as Serena explained what happened but then remembered what he last remembered. A shadow grab his leg and pulled him into the shadow realm. That was all he remembered. "Red-eyed God? Hmmmm. I remember being grabbed and pulled into the Shadow realm. Through the gateway. That's it." He had looked away a moment before he then remember Serena say something about Duke. "Duke is here? Interesting. Sounds like he was feeling better." That brought a smile to his face. Though examined Serena and noticed how tired she was. "You look tired. Especially if you have been up all night not to include the injuries I remember you having." Yami pointed out. "You should rest. No doubt everyone is starting to wake soon. I should probably chest on Yugi. No doubt what you told me, he must be worried." Slowly moving himself to where he was sitting on the edge of the bed. He started to stand up before going to his dresser and pulled out some clothes for himself as well as for Yugi.

Arriving to the cell block and being greeted by Batman, Riza and Robin, Conner as well as the other looked toward the Cell block that seemed to be where Wolf has confined herself in. Conner had his attention on Batman when he asked him what they saw her. Looking to the Cell block with concern, looked back to Batman. "When Wolf ran through, she was scared and freaking out. Artemis tried to ask her what happen when I noticed that she had these bone like claws. There were blood on the tip of them. Then I saw that not only was she scared but she was seeing red. I could tell from her eyes and body language alone compared to myself. She seemed to resist the demand for what the urge wanted her to do and just took off. Meg'aan tried to take off after her but then after that, the lights shut off." Superboy explained to Batman.

Riza listened to Conner's explanation and answer. Her eyes widened with shock and looked to the door. She went up to the cell's door and lightly touched it with only her fingers brushing against it. "The dream she had as Robin explained to me seemed to have triggered something. Sometimes Logan, her father would have these incidents. If someone was near him while he was asleep, having a bad dream and someone tried to wake him or was near him and he woke up, he would have no focus and he would accidentally lash out as if he was danger. Once he would come back to reality a few seconds later, he would realize just then what happen. Though when I heard this, it had only happened twice. Though that doesnt mean it hasn't happened any other time. Though as for seeing red," Riza turned back as she seemed to be thinking. "The only time I noticed is when Logan raged. It wasn't hard to piss him off. But you had to really piss him off for him to see red. Only then he would seem like an animal, not matter who was friend or foe. But this seems different. Something out of explanation to me." The young Stark though soon back away from the cell block a little. "Wolf? Wolf! What happen?!" She asked, speaking loudly, unknown if Wolf could hear her.

That morning Joey and Tristen were sleeping soundly, some snores came from them. Kaiba was seemed to be resting in a somewhat uncomfortable position while Duke was out cold as well but seemed to be resting peacefully at least.

In Yugi and Yami's room where Serena was watching the window, Yami was sleeping peacefully it seemed. Laying on his back till the sun was up and turned his back to the sun that was trying to wake him. Though it wasn't till later that he woke up with a groan before a stretch overtook his actions as he then slowly sat up. "...Yugi...?" Was the first word that came from him as he then looked around only then to face the suns raise and then groaned again before laying back down and covering his face with it. He wasn't much of a morning person and honestly was not ready to face the morning sun. Though at the moment just had some realization and quickly sat up, uncovered the upper half of himself and looked to Serena. "Serena? How long have you been here? What happen? Is Yugi alright?" Having no recollection as to his half awake conversation that night.

Seto watched as Tea came over and scolded him of which he rolled his eyes. "Have it your way. Im not one to give comforting speeches. Only telling him truth." He said before walking back inside, not letting Tea get a word in. He then went back to Mokuba before settling down and resting his eyes. He wasn't going to go back to sleep till Tea and Yugi back inside.

Seto sighed heavily though contained it to the best of his abilities, hearing though that Yugi was restless, Kaiba felt that spark within that he was worried. "Man up, Yugi. As much as I have seen you around Yami, you have never been helpless or useless. Stop belittling yourself. If you want to help Yami out so much maybe you should go in there with him and help him out." Yes. Kaiba was cruel, never really one to be a softy and give comforting speeches but he was always one who just got straight to the point, no sugar coating at all. But he had lived a tough life that sugar coated nothing for him.

Yami sighed, closing his eyes and sleeping soundly now as if there was no fight required.

Seto rose an eyebrow as showing his suprise. He has seen Yami doubt himself and even get hurt. But to know unconscious and hurt as Yugi said he was, that was serious. Seto slid his hands into his pant pockets. "You're tired Yugi. Knowing Yami, he will explain what happen. Get some sleep. Wouldn't want your old man get worried about you." Seto didn't like the mushy stuff.

Yami frowned. From the haze he could see, he noticed just how tired she was. "Your tired. Lack of sleep...not good for you. Will hurt. Safe here."

Riza seemed to understand what happened with what Robin said though looked to Batman. She nodded and followed. "So is there anything else to this lock down besides doors shutting and sealing themselves?" She asked, just wondering what she possibly needed to be prepared for.

Superboy watched Artemis work, though thought about this question. "I could try. If you want me help let out her frustration through a fight. But it would all depend on her." Conner though, as well as Meg'aan and Wally went to go find whereever Wolf maybe.

Duke managed to go back to sleep after all was said and done. With the help of a few with getting a makeshift bed put together, Duke had laid down and was going to sleep as his mind was focused on the Pendent that was around his neck. He looked at it closely, wondering how it got there only to guess that the God Khnum was the one who did it. But he didn't understand why. Though before Duke knew it, he was asleep in no time. Seto however was still awake and noticed Yugi go outside. Seto snuck away from the sleeping group, going outside to stand with Yugi, opening it and shutting it as best as he could. "Something on your mind? could be still dangerous out here by ourselves." Though seemed to have a hint of concern, though was still sounded as one may think to be cold as ever. But that was Seto for you. Rarely did he show concern for anyone other than for his brother, Mokuba.

Yami nodded slowly, though closed his eyes as he hummed in a approval. Though upon the last part, Yami opened his hazy crimson eyes. "I'm alright...Though here, I was king of games...passed on to Yugi now...should watched my own back..." Yami said, clearly tired. He rolled himself on his left side, still looking toward Serena. "You should sleep...you look tired..." He pointed out with what seemed to be a small smile that formed as he spoke, showing just how calm he was.

ADuke smiled and followed, riding along though quiet most of the trip as he helped keep an eye on Yami who just seemed to be rest or just deeply asleep. For how late it was, Duke couldn't blame. He too was tired and thinking that Serena and Yugi would be too. Though once pulled up to the Game shop, Duke looked at it as Yugi and Serena came up with a plan to get Yami to his room so he could sleep in peace. Duke decided to help out with that plan after helping Yami to Serena's back. Then followed Yugi for once they were inside, Seto, Joey, and Tristen were up and were worried though was surprised(at least from Joey and Tristen), wondered where Yami was, if he was okay. It was odd for Yami and Yugi to be apart and so this worried to two young men who saw the two tri-colored look-a-likes as brothers. Seto stayed quiet though noticed something off besides those changes.

In Yugi and Yami's room, Yami was just sleeping. Seemed to be relaxed and comfortable. Though stirred to actually wake up only what seemed to be half asleep, aware of who was there though not exactly of where he was. Though seemed to feel a little bit of bruising he must have gotten when he was forced to fall to the ground. "ooww." He said with a groan, though looked from what seemed to be nothing in particular, turned his head a little to looked to Serena, though his Crimson eyes a little hazing with sleep. "Did we do it?..." He asked, though it was most likely Serena who had saved his life. "...Everyone okay?" He asked next, though wondering if she was okay too.

Slifer and the Skilled Magician too vanished. Duke though looked to Khnum who seemed a bit sad before seeing him too vanish but feeling this cold sensation around his neck. Looking down to see a pendant, he examined it before looking to Serena who seemed ready to go. "Mind if I crash with one of you? I have a feeling that my place isn't as safe as I thought it would be."
