Section #1: Jig Being Right

It has come to my attention, that I am primarily right and drunk.

Jig is completely right.

Jig is right.

[11.01.50] Gowi:

Jig is right. Feel free to send that along.

[Jig is] 100% correct.

Jig was right 8 months ago, and is still right.

I love you, Jig. It's because you're Always Right™.

Once again, Jig is absolutely right about this.

Where is Jig when I need to vent about politics?
Drunk.

The mighty Jig is of course right.

As I said, it could go either way. There really isn't an innate 'quality' difference between Casual and Advanced posts.

Sort out your SPaG and this would be Advanced-ready.

Incidentally. How would you categorize that writing? Advanced? Casual?

Ahh, the difference correct SPaG makes. Currently, I'd say Casual, simply because it's peppered with small mistakes with your SPaG and the absence of useful commas. Fixing these would make it a much sleeker and more 'impressive' read.

SPaG aside, it could go either way. Honestly, the difference between Casual and Advanced is more a state of mind, in my book. It's about having a long-term commitment to the story with the intention of developing the characters and the story in detail and the patience to deal with the overall slowness. Beyond the expectation that SPaG should be correct, there isn't really a 'quality' difference between a casual-level and advanced-level post.

Everblight said I tried to divide his somewhat long speech as he was killing the boy with descriptions of his actions etc. I don't know if this was what you were getting at?

In fairness, you did do this. I'd have done it with fewer words, but you did do it.
Frankly, I don't remember the last RP I saw that was based on real-life earth that was set even anywhere in Europe. When I recently started an RP (tl;dr version - vampires in the Netherlands), I got some feedback appreciating that the RP was set somewhere a bit different. I don't think it has much to do with 'fear' of Arabian culture or settings, but simply no interest in them, fuelled by a lack of cultural imports. I'm not American, but I'm guessing most of their media is home-grown, and then the biggest import is Japanese. With bags of material rooted in those cultural references and a fat lot of nothing else, it's no surprise that most RPs are America-and-Japan centric.

I can't name a single Arab television show. The absence of Arabian cultural imports is probably the main reason.
Aaaaall the time. I think I get excited by an idea, and then, the moment it's been realised as an IC, I find that that's all I really wanted to achieve and then gently wait for it to die.
Moar plot plz.

Edit:

Without killing Benji.

Btw, I'm not convinced the Swedes aren't cannibals and that the group won't just get nommed.

Write two paragraphs and use a spellcheck.

Advanced unlocked.

And proofread. Spellcheck doesn't pick up on everything.

But yeah. Otherwise, just try it.
Brovo said Universal rule of fiction: Limited space to covey a hundred concepts.

In fairness, it bugs me in general fiction anyway. I think I notice it more in RPs because (outside collaborative posts), dialogues are almost impossible, so I think people compensate by almost writing in mini-monologues, as opposed to how people I know talk to one another.

"Alright?" said Jig.
"Alright?" said Jig's Mate.
Callthecops said Best. Book. Ever.

D'you know, I couldn't stand it. Or the television version. Or the radio version. Or the film.

And I typically like that sort of semi-surreal, witty humour.

Callthecops said I don't have any recording equipment but maybe before this is all over we will see.

I'm willing to bet your phone/laptop have a microphone that can record. Nobody's saying it's the highest quality, but we don't want it for that. ;)

I think James may end up as our player kill by default...

While I do advocate kicking this along a bit with or without Biggie's post, he has only just started uni so it's understandable that he's being a busy bee.

Compounded if their character just can't seem to get certain names right. Like the name of their queen, or their homeland, or the names of people around them.

That said, people are stupid and so should characters be. Characters that are perfectly accurate with grammar in speech and who never are somehow mistaken bug me.
