Section #1: Jig Being Right

It has come to my attention, that I am primarily right and drunk.

Jig is completely right.

Jig is right.

[11.01.50] Gowi:

Jig is right. Feel free to send that along.

[Jig is] 100% correct.

Jig was right 8 months ago, and is still right.

I love you, Jig. It's because you're Always Right™.

Once again, Jig is absolutely right about this.

Where is Jig when I need to vent about politics?
Drunk.

The mighty Jig is of course right.

Section #2: Jig's RP's

I'm not post-dating RP's I've been in that died out of nowhere and I've basically forgotten about, so here are my present ones.

I went to an LGBT pride in the UK once, and all I really took away from it was how homogeneous (fnar) and alcohol-oriented the LGBT scene seems to be in that neck of the woods. Given that some LGBT people are underage or don't care to drink and aren't particularly excited by tacky pop music, innuendo, and feather boas, it does make me wonder about whether it's actually an inclusive community or not. I get that it's reclaiming the cliché and all, but, seriously, does the LGBT community want to pigeon-hole itself exclusively into sparkles, sex, and the past-times of a pre-pubescent girl?

Good on you for marching, though. I imagine the vibe at a march is very different to a rainbow-themed street piss-up pride event.
Nope. Too soon.
Log posts were kinda supposed to just be a moment for me to get a breather and think about how to do the next section; since I couldn't guarantee any of you were gonna be all HELL YEAH LAKE TIME, I wanted to give myself that space (and to see if youse gave me any leads) to get us there.

Jig has free time

Jig's Fantastic and Formerly Very Present Partner has now gone home, so I now have free time. I'll be back on this (not that there's that much to be back on, by the looks of it) as normal probably tomorrow. Gonna get wasted tonight.
Jig's "Plan": today's log posts happen for those doing them (can I get a pass or placeholder for those that would still like to do them?), you guys have a natter amongst yourselves to work out how you actually get to the lake. Feel free, once it's worked out in OoC, to gloss over how you've actually arranged to be there.
My sig still stands. Literally the first moment I've grabbed since Jig's Indiscriminately Wonderful Partner got here.
Sorry to hear that dude.

To everybody else, Jig's unbelievably brilliant partner is still in town, so I'll have incredibly limited time until Sunday evening, at which point normal service will resume.
@Jig – Soooo, basically like all train station shelters in Scotland. Rightyo.

Euston Station 4 lyf
Well, there are three gentlemen on the platform right next to you, and it has just started raining... I wonder if any of them would be chivalrous enough to offer you an umbrella?

Hahahahaha, I've seen their character sheets

Edit:

Just to warn those of you that don't know, in addition to being a complete nutcase, I'm also functionally an idiot. I had completely forgotten that the train station has a whacking great shelter sticking right out of it which will completely protect you all from the rain. Not from the wind, though, which I have decided should now be harsh enough to make up for lost precipitation.

Also, the shelter leaks. Like a bitch.

tl;dr - the weather's bad and the shelter can't help you.

I also completely forgot that the lady in red was also outside.
Jig Behaves Like a Very Authoritative GM

  • Sucks to hear about your news, Cops. Can I be a pain and ask for regular updates on when you're going to get up/down-time? I know at least one person still would like to collab with you, and you may have to just say you can't do it, but if you're getting limited activity, being able to announce when you're going to get internet access might be a way of helping this carry on as normal. As usual, the more that you can tell us, the better. :)
  • In the spirit of Cops' limited activity, this next thing goes for everybody: if you find yourself unable to carry on with this, that's fine. RL happens, and you won't be judged for it. Please, pretty please, with your choice of decorative fruit on top and unlimited access to the squirty cream - if you have to drop out, please let me know ASAP and via PM. Don't announce your departure in the OoC. You can probably guess why: anybody that drops out is going to get viciously murdered (in the IC only, I promise), but this is likely to change my plans somewhat. If somebody knows they only have a week left, that's maybe just enough time for them to get one last post in that will set them up to be bumped off. This isn't me saying to any of you "you're too inactive so gtfo", but, you know, gotta plan for the worst.
  • Can I also ask those of you still with stuff to do in this section to get up placeholders so we can finally go to the lake?

Thank you. ^^

This has been an official GM announcement. The views reflected here in this post are obviously the views of the GM, and any instructions should be obeyed without question or hesitation. Failure to comply may result in your character being clamped, impounded, and then crushed. Dissenters will be shot. Thank you for your patience. ♫
I recommend that anybody going to Bristol that still wants to post in this section either do it shortly or get a placeholder up pronto: we're about to be smacked with the patented Plot Stick of LoveTM.
To make things easier, typing out what she's thinking or meaning to say would help people interpret her "Glare" or "Sideways looks" or whatever.

Definitely recommend.

She glared at Thomas, eyes wide and gently pulsing. How dare you speak to me like that?

Seems legit. It's basically dialogue without sound; she has used her own words to express how she feels to the reader, but the italics clearly indicate that it's an internal thought rather than an audible utterance.
