okay, watched the first episode of goblin slayer, not nearly as bad as what it was made out to be. Still a bit depressing but hey, saved 2 of 4 rookies, coulda been worse.

So i figured out, as much as id love the equivalent of an anime doom guy slaying goblins, i dont like seeing the lovely anime chicas catch a case of the mutilation.

Dremmick admittedly hesitated when it came to signing his name as a member of the Alliance, opting to only write his first name and not his last. He was back in his leathers and Taxis bark armor. Hood and muffler up and in place, keeping his face either covered or hidden in its shadow. There were a number of new faces, but their numbers were still few. He noticed a particular girl that the king mentioned that they would be guiding around. She was told to have some gift that could heal the land. Whether he meant that literally of metaphorically, Dremmick was yet to see.

It wasn't that long of a wait either. Not long after riding into the woods around Vrondi, a caustic stench seemed to permeate the air. When they arrived to its source, Dremmick couldn't help but be curious, as this was unlike anything he had encountered before. He rode up to the front, but dismounted his horse before getting to close so that it could stay a safe distance away, just in case.

“Corruption. It's toying with nature as we speak. We've got two options you lot. Ignore this and pass this by, or deal with this Apostasy of nature. This is a sign from a poseur to the incarnation of death. Close to the capital yet devoid from the watchful eyes. Danger.”"

Dremmick moved forward, passing Garret and Ami to get a closer look. From under his hood, his eyes started to glow yellow and spectral wisps of energy came from them as he started to look to see any life energy of souls in the festering scar in the land. It was completely empty. Not an ounce of life energy save for the maggots and other insects. Even the foliage was devoid of the smallest scrap of life. His eyes faded to their normal hazel color before he turned around. ”I'm not sure what exactly is causing this, but the whole area is barren of any life.” He took another look around as he tried to figure the whole thing out. It was a grotesque sight, unsure of what creatures, or people, all the flesh was from, though it was obvious it was more than one. Was this some even more twisted form of blood magic? Before Dremmick could dwell on it further and formulate any sort of answer for Garret, Mason came in.

"I got this, stand back everyone..."

Dremmick's eyes shot over to Mason, ”Wait, Mason! Don't-,” but it was too late. The whole thing erupted in golden flames until it was burnt away, Mason's fire completely dissipating as he withdrew his attack, however, the fires it caused still seemed to burn. ”Dammit, Mason!” he cursed as he looked up at the black smoke and spreading fire. ”Besides the threat of burning the whole forest down, burning a diseased tree can potentially make the disease airborne and infect a larger number of plants in the area. And who knows what that thing had in it.” Dremmick went over to one of the fallen branches from the tree. He pulled a knife out and cut off a small piece of a twig and took out a small glass vial from his back pouch, placing it in and sealing it so nothing could contaminate it or vice versa. ”I'll keep this to take a look at this later, or have someone else do it. Either way, this need to be studied more before we go destroying every one we see. Speaking of which, we need to keep this fire from spreading any further.”

It was showtime and Lynn had that feeling in her gut again, wondering if this was the right decision. She signed her name, was a bit shy during the parade when they left, but she was able to calm down a bit once they were away from the castle. Lynn was so far seeming to enjoy the ride. She sat sidesaddle on Feather as he pulled the cart so she could guide him when needed, though he mostly seemed to follow the rest of the group fairly well. Every now and again lynn would fly off on her staff to look at something or bring back some interesting plant to show Metis, who she seemed to stay the closest to. It was an amazing adventure already for her as she saw one new thing after another. Eventually however, she started to smell something odd in the air.

The party arrived to the large grotesque tree shortly after, and Lynn's happy demeanor seemed to fade. Unlike the hooded man's curiosity, Lynn wanted no part of the disgusting tree, the very sight made Lynn feel a bit queasy. While she had seen and was able to deal with plenty of horrid injuries in her time, a whole tree filled and covered in flesh was nauseating. It didn't take long however for a young seraph, that she later learned was named 'Mason' as the hooded man yelled, ignited the tree in a spectacular golden fire. It seemed to spook some of the horses a bit but not enough to make them rear up or run. Lynn consoled her horse by petting the side of its neck and cooing at it, ”It's okay, don't worry,” She said softly in its ear. She noticed that some of the burning branches had caught others on fire. ”The other trees! I can help!”

She picked up her staff, which was mounted on the side of the horse, and used it to take flight, sitting up sidesaddle on it as well like usual. She undid the stopper on the water jar hanging behind her lower back, using the water rune inside to summon water and direct it onto the fires, and a small stream to her mouth, breathing the water instead of the tainted smoky air around her. While controlling the water would prove to be easy, summoning this much water proved to be taxing. It wasn't something she was used to doing and it tapped directly into her magic energy to summon it. She had to be wise with how she used it, so instead of spraying the fire down, she moved a large water bubble onto the fires, putting them out and then moving it to the next fire using the same water bubble. Each fire met the water with a good bit of steam, and wore down the water bubble's size slightly, but it still got the job done fairly efficiently. Once it was done, the bubble of water was blackened and she let it fall to the ground away from the group, and closed her jar. She slowly floated back over to her the carriage and sat next to Metis. It wasn't moving around the water that was strenuous, it was summoning that amount of water that she wasn't used to. She was a little tired as she relaxed in the chair. ”Summoning that much water was a bit tougher than I thought.” she said with a worn out smile and slight chuckle.

Allard was proud to sign his name on the list, though he admittedly had a hard time with the small writing utencil provided to do it. Not afraid to sign either as the slavers never asked for his name to begin with. He felt like this was a great new start for him, although he knew he couldn't escape his past or the vows he made, this felt like a step in the right direction. He was easily noticeable compared to the rest of the group as he towered over them. Also, unlike the others, he wasn't riding a horse as there wasn't one large enough for him. As it was, even when riding horses some of them were even or still a bit shorter than him. He stayed close to the ox, making sure it went the right way when needed, or simply holding the reins as he walked with it. There was one girl he could have swore he recognized, though she seemed to stay covered up with a hood, like that other fellow. He guessed it was none of his business to pry and kept walking with the group, every now and then whistling a jolly tune.

When the group arrived to the tree, Allard couldn't do much but watch the event unfold. It as a ghastly sight, for certain, though the group seemed to deal with it well enough. Truth be told, Allard thought that burning the tainted tree seemed like great way to deal with it, even if they had to put out a few fires afterwards. If the burned tree could spread the disease, however, that could end up being a problem. And what if the disease had an effect on people as well? They had been smelling this rot for a while now, which would mean that in essence that they were breathing in particles from this tree. He looked over to the one that the king introduced to the group as a 'healer of lands'. Wondering if it was literal, he went ahead came forward to ask Ami. “Young lass, there wouldn't be any chance that yur able ta remedy tha land itself from this creepin' evil taint, is there?”

Allard stopped in his tracks when he heard Siiga ask if he was from the arena. It was inevitable, he guessed, that at the very least one of the tyro people here may recognize him from his time in the arenas. He couldn't blame her for getting his name wrong, as he was mostly called 'The Behemoth' in the arena. The fact that she had somewhat of an idea towards his name meant that she must have done some snooping on his personal life at one point, whether out of interest over recent events or for bets he wasn't sure. The scar she recognized was one in his side where there were a row of dotted scared flesh from a bite wound he received from when he had to fight a captured dragon in the arena. Everyone thought he was going to be done for, but he was able to hold on to his weapon and behead the dragon, saving his own life.

He sighed as he turned back around to reply to her. "Adelhard Baldewin is my name, but you can call me 'Allard'. I wish ta put those damned arenas far behind me, an' hopefully this is tha place ta do it." he said with a wide smile, though his grip subconsciously tightened on the belts he had slung over his shoulder, his mind drifting back to the last time he saw his daughter. "Again, I am sorry ta have interrupted ya. Guess I'll be seein' ya." His face was a bit more solemn then when he came in though he still tried to keep somewhat of a jolly demeanor to keep her from feeling uncomfortable about her question. Though him leaving so soon after she recognized him may have done that.

When he found a new and unoccupied room, he set his stuff down and got dressed saved for his boots. Then he leaned the weapons up against the wall next to the bed, their weight, especially his, a fair deterrent from anyone stealing them. Not to mention him being a light sleeper ever since he was in the arenas. He laid down on his back in the bed, not bothering to get under the covers, and rested his head in his hands, elbows up and one knee propped up. He started to think about where he would go from here. He knew his targets in general, but not who led them. though he was sure if at some point he could cause enough of a rukus that it would be easy to figure out. but it seemed that for now he needed do the bidding of this alliance first, and maybe then he could air his grievances to King Vrondi. As his mind wandered, it wasn't long before he found himself starting to fall asleep. He had to admit, this was much more comfortable a bed than he had ever slept on in his life, even if it was too small with his outstretched leg hanging off from the knee down.
@CloseEnough I am assuming Drake has just about conquered his wing by now and is about to move onto the next, lol. Well, unless Daniil is is still there and wants to fight Drake, which could be interesting.@KazAlkemi

{Lynn and Metis collab}

Lynn's eyes opened as she heard a voice quietly speak to her. She admittedly jumped a bit, when she saw Metis, her presence startling her as Lynn thought she was the only one there. Lynn stared in awe at the lights she cast out, a trait that Tearians from the deeper in the sea had where it was darker. While she had heard about it, she had never seen anything like it firsthand. "Y-You're so pretty!" she was finally able to say when she calmed down. "But please, you don't owe me any service," she started earnestly with sheepish smile, "I'm not even a royal or anything, just a commoner healer. My name is Lynn Meditrina, nice to meet you!" She sat up in the water, knees together and legs folded under her and hands together resting in her lap. "I'm sorry if I caused you any worry, I'm just....uneasy about this task. I've never left home before, and while I'm excited to see the world, I guess I'm anxious or something."

Metis sensed the surprise in the young Tearian healer and was so pleased and surprised that she saw her as….as pretty her chromatophores rippled with bands of electric blue veins that resembled lighting. Then she was almost crushed but what sounded like a refusal till Lynn followed it with the statement that she was not of the royal Tearian house and making Metis’s color patterns laugh with little rings of expanding yellow adding that she was but a common healer.

Then as Metis was considering a proper response the blessed healer offer her name saying it was “Lynn Meditrina” and how she was pleased to meet her and how her’s was an uneasy task.

Metis sent her thoughts and emotions bubbling with joy having found so caring a bright one.

Lynn's head tilted to the side in thought about how she called herself a 'low creature'. It didn't feel right, even if it was something the octo girl grew up being told. "You shouldn't speak so lowly of yourself. You are obviously very capable and should be proud of the strengths you were blessed with." Her tail started slowly swishing back and forth in the water. "Also, I would love to have you with us on the journey, having another Tearian with me makes me feel a lot better actually. I'll try to make sure you are safe as well," she said with a smile.

Metis was so pleased with the healer Lynn for her concern for her person and her assessment of her strengths though she was mildly concerned with the suggestion of pride.

She listened intently to the Tearian healer who said she was soon to journey and even considered her a Tearian.

Says Metis her mental communication as gentle as a whisper.

"Well if you are culled, how would you ever expect to become better? We can't always win every fight we come across. To fail doesn't always mean death, but sometimes it sheds a light upon where to improve. If you ever fall, I will be right there to pick you back up again, I promise. Besides, I'm not ever against running to live to fight another day," she said with a smile. "And, only if you are comfortable with it," she added, "I don't mind if you talk to me directly. I know its supposed to be some sort of rule, but it can't be easy on you to always have to use telepathy to talk. I have perfectly good ears, see?" Her happy smile still remained as she pointed to her ears as she wiggled them, reminiscent of fish flapping its fins. "I would like it if you were as comfortable around me as you would anyone else," she finished.

"Metis wishes to be of service, Metis is happy to make this offer. Metis if Metis must begs to be Lynn's bodyguard
Metis is confused but Metis is prepared, Metis is small but powerful, Metis wishes to prove her power as Breeder not Sport."

Says Metis in a sweet whispering that is in a very soothing tone.

"Metis honored Lynn wishes to hear her voice, Metis now knows Metis chooses wisely.

Metis knows flight tactic. Metis offers sight."

Metis leans closer to Lynn a perfect tone bathes the air as Metis cups her hands to hold water and not disappointed as a shimmering ball of water appears hovering there. Quickly the ball shows the gardens around them and the fountains outside of the Palace walls.

It is a scrying sphere only interrupted by powerful wards.

"Alright then, you win. If it's your choice to do so then I would be honored to have you along!" She noticed Metis dip her hands in the water and lift some out, hands cupped. Shortly after, it lifted from her hands and formed into a ball much like a seer's orb. "Oh wow! I've never actually seen this power in person before! I've only ever heard of it from time to time." She looked into the ball, taking in all the sights, especially of the garden. "It's beautiful!"

After a moment of looking at the images in the ball, Lynn had an idea. "That is an amazing ability! Here let me show you something! You may find it interesting." She waved her hand over the water in front of her and a small ball of water separated from the bath. She then touched it, letting it turn into a blue color. "I can enchant water to effect different physical and mental abilities. I can only make a few at a time, and this one here helps with concentration. Try drinking it, it should boost your magic capabilities, letting you see even farther with your scrying sphere."

Metis took the offered water but did not drink instead she took it into her palms infusing its life energy directly into the Scry Sphere causing it to expand in view which seems to hypnotize the Octo for about a minute.

Metis marvels on the clairity imparted to her scrying spell and takes advantage to remember the Gardens they are in, in fine 3D detail and even as she smiles at Lynn buoyed by the gift Metis's free thoughts begin mapping the area for attack vectors, blind spots, and natural fortification points.

Normally her thoughts would have only included her own safety but now she had to consciously add Lynn into the equation and remember her kind had bones so many squeeze points were now out.

"Metis is …... she bagan stalling at 2 words as her expression became the trope of Eureka!

"Metis honored Lynn thinks so highly of Metis

This Metis considers and discovering Metis and Lynn share same path for reasons important. Good that Lynn honor Metis Life highly; confusing Metis is finding this…..and strange but pleasant confusion Metis knows knowing Lynn."

Metis’s skin becomes an undulating color show her body rippling in indigo, turquoise, jade, and emerald as tiny spots of light outline her body. It is a display of openness among her kind because down where the sun don’t shine such a display is threat, warning, mating signal, or sign of trust.
Dremmick, Sophia, and Ilia collab. indented at each writer change.

Dremmick looked around the room, knowing she was headed this way. He saw two nicely upholstered chairs with a small table between the two and figured that would be a good place as any to talk. But before that, he quickly picked up any shards of wood from the dresser and tossed them under the two halves, then propped up the halves against each other so that the parts weren't sprawled out everywhere. It didn't hide the damage, but it did get it out of the way. He then moved over and waited next to one of the chairs, not yet taking a seat.

It wasn't long until the Seer was in the doorway of Dremmick. Her friend Sophia close by. The first alliance member to be paid a visit by their immensely graceful auras. She walked in slowly. "Ah. I see you've been making yourself at home here." She commented while her eyes searched around the room. "It is magnificent how the interior has yet to change in so long." She said, mostly to herself. "Now." She looked to Dremmick. "I hear you are in need of answers. Many seek answers in this world. Take solace in the fact you are one of the few who will get theirs." She held the orb in her hands, lifting it up for him to see clearly.

Dremmick nodded at the seer and extended his arm to the chairs for them to sit. "I am, if there was another way though, I would have gladly taken it." He was thinking it would just be the seer and himself, he didn't expect the other to join her, so instead he opted to stand and let the two sit. "My request is for two specific times in my memory. There were two incidents years ago, the Valswei indecent eleven years ago, where a couple were hung by a rioting mob, and the Mirindal massacre just five years after. I am trying to find out what happened and who was involved. My memories of these events are hazy, however I am hoping that being able to walk through these events that I will be able to find my answers."

"Hmm.. A terrible thing to revisit. But if you are certain." She approached him. Her dress smoothed over as she sat down with the orb in her lap. "May I see your hand." She asked. Staring at Dremmick with her youthful fair skin illuminated by the light in the orb and the bright candle flames erupting around the castle as the sun fell.

Sophia quietly heard as Ilia talked with the man in front of her.
Instead of revealing who she was, Sophia simply suppressed her aura, curiously looking at Dremmick, inspecting his reactions, the way he moved and talked. A member of the newformed alliance. Sophia didn't think that he knew how important his position was. To be a member of an alliance formed by many different kingdoms, each with it's own king and queen, with it's own goals and cultures. All of them very different from one another.

As Ilia and Dremmick continued talking, he mentioned that he wanted answers. Something about a massacre and something he called 'Valswei incident'. Unsurprisingly for those who knew exactly who Sophia was, she had no idea about those incidents. For her, everything that happened outside of the mountain regarding politics and the other descendants interacting with each other weren't things she should interfere with and as such, were deemed irrelevant.

"Some things are better to be left in the past, forgotten. Smile, child. You're still young." Sophia said, smiling kindly to the man, as she continued to carefully watch his reactions.

"You are be a member of the newformed alliance, right?" Sophia asked, her curiosity to know more about the man was clear in her tone of voice. Despite her exotic appearance, unlike any other he had seen in his life, she exuded an almost motherly air. It was almost like it was comfortable just being around her. But even though, he could still feel her eyes analyzing every reaction he made.

"Oh! I'm sorry for interrupting you. I'll wait until you both are finished." Sophia said as she saw Ilia approaching him with the orb on her lap.

"If I could find answers any other way I would have done it already. I just pray this is worth it," Dremmick said to Sophia. When she asked about being in the alliance he thought for a second. "I currently have no king, and I wish to keep it that way. I have experienced being in a group before, I can't say that i have any interest in the idea." When she apologized he shook his head and held up his hand. "It's fine....," he said as he refocused on what he was about to do. He nearly reached out with his right hand but then hesitated, holding out his left instead. He took a deep sigh, still a little nervous. "Alright... I am ready."

"The alliance I believe. Is not to command one as a knight under a king. But as a hero for us all. A truly noble path..." She slowly grasped his hand with her right. Within seconds he would feel his soul through a strange sensation. Then he would feel it expand around him and within the room. He was able to sense the auras in the room through a sixth sense. "I will guide you now." The world around Dremmick and Illia began to crumble and fade away, being replaced with a grassy forest with trees looming over outside a home. "Do you recognize this place?" She asked. Still sitting in the chair. However if he would turn around Sophia would be gone. Not coming with them to this trip. All she would see would be the two standing and sitting as they were.

Dremmick nodded, "This is my aunt and uncle's house, they made medicines here as it was rich with a variety of plant life.... Sylvia and Greymund Mirindal...." he said in a low tone. "This isn't the first stop I had in mind, or at least not on purpose anyway." They were behind the house as a loud knocking was heard at the door in the front, followed by a man yelling out in pain and a woman scream. Dremmick's eyes closed as he remembered the event very well. Soon a woman came running out with a young teenage Dremmick. At this time, Dremmick still had his horns and wings, and his tail wasn't hidden as it is now, clearly marking him as of dragon descent. She tried to get him to go on without her, but he refused and tried to help her on a horse when an arrow came flying past young Dremmick, hitting his aunt in the heart. The boy panicked and resorted to his necromancy to fight, his inability to control it had seen two men not only ripped of their life energy, but the soul itself crushed in his grasp, When the boy turned to the next few men slammed two arrows into his chest, and acting on impulse, the boy healed himself, which started the process of his cursed arm, turning. "My mind went black about here." he said, watching the events unfold. The boy seemed to go into an unyielding rage, his draconic blood going into overdrive even though he couldn't transform. Using anything at his disposal, talonned wings, teeth, and his necromancy, he tore into his attackers till none were standing, save for one straggler that was smart enough to run. The boy however succumbed to his own wounds and fell over. Time sped up and a fire that had apparently started in the house has spread. When time resumed normally the house was nearly completely burned down, young Dremmick started to stir. The current Dremmick however, was already checking the bodies for anything to identify them. For Ilia, she would see Dremmick desperately trying to revive his aunt only to spread the curse and fail, causing him to fall again. There was shouting heard in the distance as the Taxis finally reached the small secluded cabin, alerted by the smoke and tell of a necromancer attacking there from one straggler that escaped, claiming he was only visiting for medicine at the time. One large knight walked up to the boy who was clearly tainted by the evils of necromancy and shook his head, muttering to himself. He raised his broad battle axe as the young man lifted his hand, a vain attempt to stop it from coming down, chopping the boy into two in one fell swing.

"The Dolofon..." Dremmick said quietly, shaking his head as he got up from inspecting one of the dead assailants from earlier. He met back up with Ilia and looked to the Taxis warrior. "I don't blame him for what he did, arriving at such a site, I'm not sure what I would do myself. I guess it would seem right. He told me it was a sorry lot I drew, and may the afterlife be kinder to my tortured fate." he gave a wry grin and slightly chuckled solemnly. He turned as the other guards came in, in awe at the destruction before them. Though something else caught Dremmick's ear before he asked to end it.

"BY THE GODS, SHE'S MOVING!" The large man yelled. Dremmick quickly turned to see his aunt stand and grab her nephew, holding him together with her own plant magic that Dremmick never remembered her having. She was still pale as death, arrow in her chest as she picked young Dremmick up. "S...she lived!? But no... I couldn't have...", Dremmick stammered. He concentrated and used his eyes to stare at the souls of the people in the vision, surprised slightly that the vision could even emulate the souls of people. It was her, but how, it was so long ago that she had died, it didn't make any sense. She quickly ran off into the woods with Dremmick's body in tow, plants blocking the way for anyone to follow. Dremmick was stunned. It was almost too much to handle, but now he knew more than he ever did, and who exactly has been hunting him all these years, causing so much strife at every turn. He turned back to Ilia, "I'm done," he said simply.

When they exited the vision, apparently his breath had been heavy as the room was smoky, his right arm was seriously tense, and he was in a cold sweat. The multiple wounds on his body that never healed naturally were all slightly bleeding as well as the bandages on his arm and two spots where his wings had been were nearly completely turning the cloth a deep crimson. The stress of the vision and the events wore away his ever present control on his body while he was in the vision, and now that he was out he tried to regain his composure. Since he was in control of his own blood, it seemed to withdraw back into his body from where it came. He took a deep breath as he straightened himself out. and looked back up to the other two. "Thank you." he said flatly, eyes slightly aglow with either rage, sorrow, or determination, not even Dremmick was sure at the moment.

Sophia listened as Dremmick replied to her, still carefully analyzing his reactions. Whatever it was that happened in his past, whatever it was that he had forgotten, was very important to him, as it was clear by his tone of voice. Regarding his following statements, Sophia had mixed feelings about that... It was ok to follow one's own ideals and not following a king, but the way he said it made it look like he wasn't good with groups... And unity, especially within that newformed group, would be extremely important. To trust each other would prove to be fundamental for them to face the long journey ahead.

As Ilia held Dremmick's hand, Sophia simply waited. Whatever that man was going to see with Ilia was his business and his alone. Sophia had no right to interfere with that and as such, even being curious about that man, she was satisfied with simply studying his reactions outside the vision. Unfortunately, Dremmick's expression was hard to read... There were so many emotions that it was hard for Sophia to even try to say how he was feeling.

After the vision ended though, something interesting happened. Sophia had sat down in a chair, patiently waiting for both of them when suddenly, wounds all around Dremmick's body started to bleed out of nowhere. His expression, his eyes were filled with a mix of emotions. Rage, sorrow, sadness... It was hard to describe what exactly it was. Just a second later though, the big crimson spots coming from all over his body, especially two oddly shaped ones on his back, disappeared, almost like if his blood was sucked back to his body. His expression was almost blank as he visibly tried to regain his composure and hide his feelings.
Whatever he had seen on that vision was very impactful and important to him. As much as Sophia wanted to know more about the members of the alliance, in part to see who amongst them would be a better leader, it was probably a good idea to leave him with his own thoughts.

"I will understand if you don't want to talk about it but... are you ok?" Sophia asked, looking to Dremmick with a worried expression.

"I'm... alright..." Dremmick said as he looked at his right hand. He gripped it tight and his arm started to glow that eerie spectral silver color. It was the soft glow of his own soul and life energy. "It's been the Dolofon all this time," he stated, just above a whisper, shaking his head as he let go of the power, the glow fading away. He mentally kicked himself for not thinking of the Dolofon sooner, but trying to get information on them was no easy task. He had worked side by side with them a few times, knowing how they were, it should have been obvious. He looked back over to Sophia, "I'm sorry to disappoint, but however 'noble' this alliance is, I'm not sure I can go on with them. Our paths diverge too greatly and even if I went, the target that has been placed on me will do nothing but get them slaughtered.... I'm not living through that hell again." Dremmick breathed out heavily, some smoke coming from his mouth again. It was all frustrating, and he has already said too much. He would have to make himself scarce and soon. "Thank you," he said to the seer, "If you would excuse me," He said, nodding as he did for the king in a semi bow like way. He turned and opened the door to the balcony, walked out and leaned against the railing on his elbows.

Illia was silent as Dremmick took in what had happened. She could only watch as he walked to the balcony. She then got to her feet. Looking at Sophia with a worried expression. She then turned to Dremmick and approached the balcony. Standing behind Dremmick she spoke with a soft voice. "Your past is your own to bare and your choices you own to make. But as the one who has shown you your past I feel some what responsible for what path you take further on." She went on. "There is no greater ally when facing the dark than the King of light. My lord is a good King."

"With all that you have seen, all that you now know, a fraction of the darkness I've enveloped myself in... How do you know that I would be accepted here, should my true power be exposed? And how could I risk the very lives of those around me knowing full well what hunts me? Asking me that is akin to calling for me to risk their lives for something they are not even involved in." He was calm in his speech, collected. He turned to her looking for some sort of answer. It was the kind of troubles he had never shared with anyone, and with her being one of the few that knew about his past, he felt he could at least talk with her.

"Whatever happens the King will always be by the side of those who fight for truth and justice. As for whether you will find a place here that is uncertain... But this world has many places. Perhaps you can find one on your journey. Besides those who are with you in this alliance will be in quite a bit of trouble with what we are asking you all to do." She sighed. Turning to Sophia.

Sophia listened as Dremmick replied. She didn't know exactly what had happened, but something surely happened. But she choose to respect his wish to not talk about it. She curiously looked at him as he said that he wouldn't be able to be a part of the alliance, that the target that had been put on him was far too great... She silently watched as he went nodded with a small bow, going to the balcony.

Luckily, Ilia was fast to go after Dremmick, offering him comforting words. Sophia herself even considered trying to talk with him, but she was but an outsider. She had just arrived, just met that man whom she didn't even knew the name and above everything else, she felt like she didn't have the right to say anything, for her didn't know about his past or what he saw with Ilia. Even when the man said something about his true power being revealed, Sophia didn't know what to say. She even opened her mouth, but hesitated, choosing to simply stay quiet as she was naught but an observer. She wasn't directly involved like Ilia was.

When Ilia finished speaking, turning to Sophia, she looked at her with a kind smile, silently indicating her that she shouldn't worry about her and could go speak with him if she wanted to.

Dremmick was silent for a while as he weighed his options. He couldn't very well try to face the Dolofon alone, and it would seem that Vrondi's forces were working against those of the Therosi and the Dolofon as well, which if he did align himself with them it would be very advantageous. At the same time however, he would be risking everyone in his group around him to an attack by the Dolofon, should they find him again, which would be easier to be found if he was in some famed group that was put on a pedestal as an alliance of nations. This could however, help him become much stronger much faster than what he could on his own in the shadows.

After much consideration he turned to the two women, "Alright I'll join your alliance, but I do not wish to be publicized for it. I wish to keep as low a profile as possible. The less eyes on me the better, lest I want the Dolofon to be on my heels wherever I go." He was holding himself up a bit higher, like his spirits had been lifted, even if it was only just slightly. "So ask what you need to know, or what your king needs of us. For now, I, Dremmick Valswei, will be at your service."
Lol look he is smiling :D
