Killjoy. Come on Jorick, I picked you because even though you want the guy to be banned, you're clever enough to make a case for him that sounds good but ultimately condemns him. You're good at that.

Nahhh, that's a lot of effort for people I don't give a fuck about. If you want me to be eloquent and persistent regardless of who it is, I should be the prosecutor. The momentum of my wanting others to suffer overcomes the inertia of me not giving a fuck about them if I'm on the prosecution. I'll argue for anyone and everyone to be banned, even if they're my friends and they did nothing worth banning.

Jorick can be the defending attorney.

Me: "Eh, I don't give a shit if this one gets banned. The defense rests."

Judge: "But we just started. It's the prosecution's turn to make an opening statement."

Me: "So? Fuck you, the defense rests, ban the sorry bastard and be done with it. I'm going home."
Yeah, Guru just said that it'd be a longer ban than the ones Marik and Smiral got (which were roughly 1 day), not that it would be permanent. He should be back in a day or two, nbd.
This would make a lot more sense if it was about a site that actually recycled shitty memes all the time. Only a few people do that here, whereas places like Reddit, Imgur, Tumblr, 4chan, Twitter, and Facebook spew those things 24/7.
Oh. Well then. Fuck you too, Smiral.

Brovo, question about magic, So you NEED to have apprentice as a trait to unlock a school of magic, but afterwards your character can then cast any spell pertaining to that school? So a character with say an apprentice trait in fire could cast multiple fire spells? Just asking for future clarification.

He explained this a bit on Skype when people there were making characters.

Apprentice by itself gives you a very basic understanding of that school of power, basically just parlor trick level things. Fire Apprentice could light candles, Illusion Apprentice could change their eye color, that sorta thing, not much more.

Raw Talent is needed to be able to cast anything with real weight behind it to start with. If you wanna throw a fireball, you're gonna need Raw Talent and be a Fire Apprentice. Even having both of these won't let you cast anything with fire you can think of, both due to your own inherent power limits and the fact that these are basic understanding traits. You're no master pyromancer yet, but later there'll be upgrades to Apprentice available to let you move toward that if you want.

Oh, and though you didn't ask about this specifically, Awakened Meditation is needed to be able to cast a large number of spells. Just having Apprentice and Raw Talent means someone could throw a couple fireballs and then be too tired to cast any more spells until they rest. Not sure exactly how much Awakened Meditation boosts that, but I do recall Brovo stating 2-3 reasonably powered spells being the limit for someone without this trait.

Basically, if you want to be good at magic from the start you're going to need to heavily specialize into it. Just being a Fire Apprentice won't let you start flinging fireballs like crazy, unfortunately.
137. Jorick needs to be a mod. Or at least be named The Scourge Of Spam and be given ban powers.

I dunno who you are, but you'd probably regret wanting that if it ever happened. If I was named The Scourge Of Spam and tasked to bring the law to Spam there would be no favoritism, no leniency, only bans.
I nominate Nat.
