Normal is self explanatory. Basically humans and their limits.

Powered refers to magical beings, and the like. people with magical abilities, armaments, and such fit here. Its a fairly wide scale.

God is also self explanatory. Essentially, god level powers.

T1 is basically a style of fighting, concerning preparations for magic. You are more than welcome to check out the spar between me and Scr(in the Alphonse vs Anya thread), as I will be giving pointers there in T1.


So would a character with cybernetic enhancements be T1 or T2? What about someone with a metallic skeleton?
Probably some woodland realm the elves consider their own. A likely meeting between these two characters I could imagine would be that Gunnaya is in search of some particular ingredient, and Blithe stands between her and her goal because, "Neener neener, this is our land."

And, because this is an arena roleplay, it comes to blows. :P

Before we start proper, we need to agree on the terrain of the battlefield and discuss if we want to have any story elements.

I would think the terrain would definitely need to allow you room to maneuver and summon your birds, as I loaded my character with enough mojo assuming I would have to deal with that.


As for story, I'm open to any ideas you have about how these two characters would meet. What is Blithe the guard of?

Hair: Long blond hair flows down her back, decorated with countless beads, feathers and braids.

Face: Long and slender, with gentle features, and one piercing blue eye. Her left eye remains hidden below a wrap of bandages that cuts across her face at a diagonal.

Build: Gunnaya sports bulging muscular thighs, calves and arms, with a slender, toned waist.

Other Notable Features:
A complex blue tattoo covers the entire left half of her face. Narrow tattoos, in various shades of blue and black, can be found across her entire body. Three deep scars run down her torso, from under her right arm.

A thick, iron war axe, with leather bindings around the handle and an iron spike protruding from either end. Celtic carvings decorate either side of the head. Haunted with the souls of fallen warriors, in shrieks in agony when swung.

Abilities:

Cry of the Skymonger
Gunnaya is able to perfectly emulate the shrieks of various birds, summoning them to her aid.

Friend of the Valkyries
Gunnaya calls her flocks of trained ravens to her side, commanding them as hunting and battle companions.

Feast of the Valkyries
Gunnaya uses singing and the scent of rotten meat to send her ravens into a suicidal rage, swarming and dive-bombing anything around her.

Njordsdottir
Gunnaya calls upon the fury of various ocean and sky spirits, summoning a ferocious storm of wind and rain. In climates of dust, sand, or powdered snow, this can seriously obstruct vision and mobility.


Alchemy Materials:

-2 Vials of Mimsblood
Mimsblood, a unique mixture made by Gunnaya, numbs all pain and constricts damaged blood vessels, preventing the drinker from bleeding out.

-1 Flask of Flametongue Mead
This brew remains hot to the touch at all times, and super-heats the drinker's body, protecting them from any amount of cold weather.

Jormungar, another Gunnaya original, is a cocktail of highly reactive elements. When exposed to open air, they explode into a cloud of toxic gas, which takes two minutes to fully settle, unless blown away.

Sure, if we're going ideal conditions. Let's say we're in the midst of a pine forest, on a snowy winter day. The ground is somewhat uneven, with logs and rocks strewn about, but no major cliffs or mountains. The occasional creek flows through, not yet frozen over by the falling snow. Rabbits and foxes dash about.

*Saying completely immune to cold is a bit odd. If Cold McIcerson hits you with his fully charged "Ultimate Chilly Death", some bag-o-tricks potion probably shouldn't trump it unless it has a super penalty attached.
**I assume you mean, "in normal conditions", or does it have some special properties that protect say a wind user from blowing it away?

I noticed I don't have my character folder on me on this computer, so I whipped together a quick arena fodder. Check it and make sure it seems appropriate. It's important for both players to feel everything is well-defined and balanced. Never be afraid to raise a polite question. There's a complex tier system and all, but it's no substitute for taking the time and consideration to read each other's bios and talk it over.



Haha thanks for the advice. I've made a couple fixes to better clarify her abilities. Your character certainly looks like a daunting opponent, but Gunnaya's up for the challage!

Awesome! I'd say Gunnaya (the second one on my sheet). All my characters thus far are low-tech, medium-low powered. Gunnaya would be the simplest to start with.
