After watching the first six episodes, I had an idea.

The entire world knows about Digimon and the Digital World now. What happened years ago was covered up by world governments, but now with social media, it has become impossible for the truth to be hidden. Some Tamers do their best to hide their Digimon; others go to the media with their partners for the attention. Either way, every branch of the Digital Lifeform Control Agency (DLCA) is on high alert, attempting to prevent attacks and mass panic simultaneously.

Incursions have escalated at an alarming rate ever since the battle between Alphamon and Omnimon. Fresh, In-Training, Rookie, and Champion level Digimon come through most of the time. Some are looking for new homes, or hiding from more powerful Digimon... but others come to conquer and destroy. In an attempt to fight the violent monsters the DLCA has been recruiting talented Tamers into a Quick Reaction Force (QRF) to be deployed all over the world.

The RP will revolve around the members of the QRF. Rookie forms for partners will be available by default. Just a few other things:

- Champion-level will be achieved normally, as seen in the original Adventure.
- Ultimate-level will be achieved via Blue Cards; these forms will be somewhat weaker than the forms taken by the DigiDestined's partners.
- Mega-level will be achieved when a Digimon is infused with human DNA via the Digivice (ie- blood, saliva, hair, etc.)

The timeline may change once the next part of tr. is released in March.

Anyone here reading the manga adaptation? I like it better than the show already, and chapter 3 just came out, getting into my fave's (Weiss) backstory.

I read the first couple of chapters, but I didn't like it. I get that differences happen when anime gets turned into a manga, and vice versa (the first Fullmetal Alchemist anime and Blue Exorcist, for example), but to me it hardly does the show any justice (again, like the ending of the FMA anime; I preferred Brotherhood's happier ending, which was closer to the manga).

Name: Ryūji "Ryu" Drake
Title: The Black Dragon

Height: 5'8"/1.73m
Weight: 148 lbs/67 kg
Appearance: Ryūji is of an average build, but has broad shoulders. His complexion is quite pale, and never seems to burn or tan. His black hair is thick but short, and his irises are a metallic gold in color; his eyes reflect yellow in the dark, and his pupils expand and contract like a cat's. His canine teeth are ever-so-slightly more pronounced than a normal person's. A pair of wings sprout from his back, covered with featherlike black scales with silver, lightning-like markings. At the base of his wings, the scales eventually fade into normal skin. Ryūji has several scars on his body, namely a trio of faint slash marks on his right cheek and jaw from a youkai attack.
Personality: Ryūji is usually quiet and standoffish, preferring to work alone or in a small group. He lacks some basic common sense, and is dictated, more or less, by a combination of emotions and instinct. Due to this trait, one can motivate him with food, money, or anything he collects. Unfortunately, he has an affinity for shiny things, something that has been exploited by youkai familiar with dragons' weaknesses in the past.
Despite these drawbacks, he is a very caring and protective person, even to people he doesn't know. Ryūji has very strong protective instincts, to the point that he'd ask if you were okay if you'd been slapped by an imp when a more powerful youkai had cut his arm off. Ryu is one example that chivalry isn't dead, and has a strong sense of what is right and what is wrong. He has no problem fighting youkai... it's dealing with girls he finds terrifying.
Short bio: Ryūji is the son of a dragon who fell in love with a human woman. His father chose to give up his powers, strength, and scales to be with the one he loved. Ryu had a somewhat difficult childhood and adolescence, thanks to his wings, as well as his abilities developing during puberty. His family often moved, since anti-youkai sentiment was a harsh reality he had to face.
Ryūji's father taught him to defend himself, control his abilities, and curb his instincts. It was at the age of fifteen that his family was attacked by an anti-youkai extremist group. His mother was executed in front of him, and his father disappeared during the attack. Ryu lost control, and in a fit of rage, slaughtered the band sent to kill him. He woke up in the hospital a week later, having been in a medically-induced coma after undergoing numerous surgeries. He never found out who paid his hospital bills, nor pointed him in the direction of the Chasers. However, he is grateful to have a new place to call home, even if he can't consider anyone to be his family quite yet.
Powers: Draconic Blood - Ryūji has many attributes inherited from his father. Most notable of these are his wings, fire breathing, and enhanced senses. Due to dragons being closely tied to elements, he has some resistance to heat and flame, electric shocks, and water and wind magic.
Weapons: Scythe, dubbed "Ryu no Ikari"
Equipment: Black fireproof cloak; light armor consisting of greaves, a breastplate, pauldron, and bracers; and black goggles with reflective gold lenses
Other: - Harbors a strong anger towards his father, viewing his disappearance as abandoning him and his mother.
- Due to his enhanced sense of smell, Ryu can be "overloaded" by extremely strong odors; additionally he can detect and identify precious metals and crystals by scent.
- A downside to his enhanced night vision is that his eyes do not handle sudden changes in light as well as a normal human.
- Although somewhat stronger, faster, and tougher than a normal human, Ryūji is extremely susceptible to the cold; being outside in winter for more than an hour without specialized equipment can put him in a "hibernate" mode, or even kill him.
- Although resistant to elemental spells, they can still severely injure him; however, he is nearly immune to being burned or paralyzed.

Time Off?

I'm not exactly sure what else to call it. When I see recent posts or PMs it says, "in 24 hours", "in 23 hours", etc. Is this happening for anyone else?
