Jurassic Weeb — Roleplayer Guild

This idea is the combination of one RP, one manga, and one weirdo (me) not getting enough sleep.

It has been almost two centuries since the third World War. Across the planet, mankind killed each other in droves, to the point that all contact was lost between continents. In North America a new government rose to power after the end of WWIII: a theocratic monarchy known simply as Illumination. The first leaders had good intentions, to bring people together to rebuild. But with each passing generation, the people in command have become more and more depraved, more and more drunk with power.

At the very top of Illumination is the Prophet. The current Prophet, Lucifer IV, has been deemed to be the very incarnation of the devil himself. During his rule, the people have suffered more in the span of twenty years than during his father Lucifer III's entire rule.

But the people are weary of the evil that comes from Illumination. They have seen loved ones hurt and killed in every way imaginable by the upper classes. Dissent has created the first sparks of revolution.

Many people still worship Sol, the sun God that the first Prophet told about, and fear that Lucifer is indeed his descendant. But he's just a man. Behind the guards and armies, the walls of stone and beurocracy, his heart-- the black, shriveled thing that it is-- still beats. And that means one thing.

This supposed god can be killed. We of the Huntsman Clan will see to it that he does, in a way that makes his depraved followers' hobbies of torturing the people in their own ways seem mild.


Again, extremely sleep deprived. But basically, the RP would follow this assassin group known as the Huntsman Clan. They all have their reasons to do it, but they have come together to punish and eliminate the evil in Illumination, and ultimately, the Prophet.

I'll lay out the basics of the team.
- Secret base built under the warehouse district. Also have safehouses hidden all over the capital.
- The majority of the group is made up of younger individuals with great fighting skills.
- Being after WWIII, guns are a bit hard to come by, so the majority of the group will use old-style weapons (swords, shields, etc.). Be creative as possible when creating/describing them! Make 'em as unique as possible!
- With the increase in radiation in the planet, mutations are common, giving certain people enhanced abilities or abilities humans have never had.
- Genetic engineering has about been perfected. The upper class use machines to change their appearance on a whim, be it the color of their eyes, or even the bone structure of their body. Lower classes hate that this resource is used so frivolously.
- While they take requests from the people, the Huntsman Clan receives orders and funding from the Underground, a rebellion that operates with guerilla tactics.
- Yes, people will die. Maybe not on their first mission, but odds are that one or more PCs will kick the bucket. You have been warned.
