Eventually she couldn't pay them back, and a group sent by the White Fang's leaders killed her; when then-twelve year-old Amarok fought back, they cut his arm off at the shoulder. Amarok would have died of blood loss if his now-adopted father hadn't found him. After he recovered, Amarok wanted to become a Huntsman, and went directly to Stone Ryu, a weaponsmith and mechanical engineer. With Amarok’s help, Ryu designed the Autocon Arm, which incorporates a normal arm, a sword, an ax, a Magnetic Acceleration Launcher (MAL), and a removable, seven round drum magazine.
