Character: The Redeemer (Al Simmons)

Power and Abilities: The Redeemer's body and suit are entirely composed of the Elemental Fire of Heaven which is where he draws his power from. His body as a result is incredibly dense and grants him superhuman physical capabilities(i.e. Strength, Agility, Reflexes and Durability) and regeneration. He also possesses angelic wings which grants him the ability to fly, his maximum flying speed is 150 mph however he tends to cruise at about 70 mph. Furthermore he can draw on the Elemental Fire in order to perform feats of magic: Energy Projection, Limited Shapeshifting (i.e. Taking on a human form), Pyrokinesis, Healing and Teleportation (i.e. at most a mile in any direction). Finally the Elemental Fire reacts to the presence of Evil allowing the Redeemer to sense evil, through the manifestation of pain and rage, its intensity dependent on the level of evil sensed. The Redeemer's pain and rage only ends if the Evil is dealt with or he is no longer in close proximity to it.

The Redeemer also possesses his skills from life, Al Simmons had received decades worth of military training and as a result was a capable fighter. His mastery of several martial arts has lead to the Redeemer becoming a deadly hand to hand combatant, furthermore his years of experience as an Assassin has honed his skills both as a swordsman and a marksman and finally with many years of travel under his belt Al Simmons has learnt to speak multiple foreign languages (Japanese, Spanish, French, Chinese, Italian, Portuguese, Latin, Arabic, Persian and Russian).

Finally imbued within him is a Holy Sword which the Redeemer is able to manifest out of his body, as a Weapon of Heaven it is capable of slaying creatures of hell and like the Redeemer it is capable of manipulating the Elemental Fire projecting energy or setting itself alight.
