"Oh mais pourquoi ma chérie? So you can listen into what is clearly a private conversation between siblings? I think not." Gwen smiled sweetly at the girl but there was venom in her voice.
"Gwen, enough. We're not here to make enemies, but we were having a private conversation. I apologize if it annoyed you." Cowyn said quietly, trying to sway the both girls from getting even cattier with each other.

Gwen and Cowyn were sitting in chairs close to each other with one leg propped up on each other's chair, talking a mile a minute with each other in several languages, jumping from Italian, to Belarusian, to Azerbaijani, to French, with English words thrown in there intermittently.
"I don't know Gwen!" Cowyn said, finally in English.
"Then maybe you should figure out Cowyn." Gwen gave him a look before turning to observe everyone else here. They were like them, special, although all with different powers, influenced by the signs they were born under. Hence, both she and Cowyn. The Twin sign, it's only appropriate there be twins born to it.
"Gwen, je suis desolé ma sœur." Cowyn said and she shrugged.
"Leave it Cowyn." Gwen said sharply. It wasn't in her nature to get angry, especially at her brother, but she frequently got annoyed with people, and she didn't want to be annoyed as she met the others like them.

Marvel Roleplay

So this will be the first roleplay I've created in a very long time, like four or five years, so stick with me here.

So there have been a lot of x-men roleplays, and a lot of the avengers, but not so much of them together, or at least that combined world, and I was thinking that if there was an ample amount of interest, we could create a mostly OC(although if you want a canon character, that's fine too) version of the Uncanny Avengers? I'm thinking that it could be movie verse, since that's what people know best, but with elements of the comic verse, to have it make somewhat sense, since obviously the two don't co-exist movie verse wise.

Gwen can speak any language fluently, and can communicate efficiently with anyone she wants to, including computer languages. She can also influence people, although usually only when their really drunk.
Bio: Gwen was born in Swansea, Wales to her mother, never knowing who her father was as she was conceived under the influence of drinks and that year's National Eistoddfod. Welsh was her first language although she learned English soon after, and while she picked it up rather easy, her mother just assumed that was because of how immersed she was in it. However a couple years later, Gwen was able to converse with a French couple who was lost with no difficulty. It was then she realized she was quite...different

Cowyn is the exact opposite of his sister in the way that while it's harder for him to pick up languages(which he still can although he only speaks about 300 languages fluently)but he can influence people rather well, as long as they're at least somewhat willing.
Bio: Cowyn grew up as the man in his house, protecting his mother and sister. He didn't do it the conventional way, though, instead he became a silver-tongued devil, convincing people to help them get through life as they got older. His sister didn't realize what he was doing but it was the reason for their popularity and good life.

Location of their tattoo: The right half is on Gwen's left arm and the left half is on Cowyn's right arm

Race: Winter Fey
Age: Eira was born long before the war but only appears to be in her early twenties.
Background: Eira had never wanted to be a part of all the politics. As a healer, all she wanted to do was help. Unfortunately, her siblings didn't see the same way as she did and she got pulled into the war whether she wanted to or not. Her family was rather influential and while she didn't fight, she convinced others to fight, until her eldest brother turned into a Dark Fae. She pulled out from the war, and while she didn't completely join human society, she stayed away from Faerie society as much as she could.

Again I repeat my earlier sentiment, I don't think that it matters all that much. Most people on the planet aren't going to know the difference between the two. We're here to have fun, not to get in a debate over finite details over the naming of something in an OOC post when we all know what they mean.
