Lyanna had stood up the instant the Princess had entered the room, and curtsied low, nearly jabbing her brother in the side at his slowness to follow. It had not mattered, though, as they were leaving within seconds. She followed her brother, with Manasa and Reed behind her. Once they had entered, she again swept into a low curtsy. She listened to the King with an attentive ear, knowing her brother more than likely was not, and would ask her to recapitulate for him later.
"Thank you, Your Majesty." Lyanna smiled warmly at the King and Queen, and her tone sounded no different but her insides had turned colder than the forests surrounding Winterfell. She caught her brother's nod and curtsied once more before following him, Robyn grabbing her arm as they exited the main room and Lyanna took a few deep breaths composing herself. She gently extracted herself from Robyn's grip, confident she wouldn't fall over at this point.
"I cannot help but feel as if this was a terrible decision." Lyanna explained to Robyn and Brandon as she waited for Reed and Manasa. How, Lyanna wondered, did the King expect them to make friends in this self described viper pit? Lyanna listened to Reed's words and let out a harsh breath.
"That's one way to describe it, I suppose. I can't help but wonder if the King knows what danger he actually put us in. The future of the entirity of Westeros in one place. I know for a fact that if my father had more aspirations than the bottom of his cup, he wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of that situation. So who else will?" Lyanna hadn't quite realized the ramifications of this until now, but it was too late. She didn't think the King would be too happy if they decided to duck out now. She blew out another breath before looking around her once more.
"Shall we make our way to breakfast?" Lyanna said, noticing the other wards slowly streaming out of the room. She didn't want to share her fears with those she didn't trust and her trust didn't extend beyond the four people surrounding her now.
