Emily sighed as Srutr told her about the man who had invaded her mind. This place was strange as it was unknown, and enemies lurked in the unknown. And he was a man who could invade the mind, but was it at any time? "Seems we have a problem, this world is alien to us, and someone of power has already found us. They might even be a Keeper. We need to find a congregation of people, and see what we can learn from them" she said to herself, before raising a single hand and letting out a soft, mellow note. Several small balls of light blossomed into existence in response, and floated in wait. "Darlings. Float free and find villages, or towns, or cities. When you have found a collection of humans, find one on the brink of passing, and take residence in them. I shall find you once you do" Emily told her balls, with a motherly tone, before they floated up into the sky, and away. "So, A, B, C, or D?" She asked, while assigning a direction to each letter. 'That, isn't random you know. We can hear what you think' the Mistress replied, to which Emily sighed. "Fine, west it is" she said, heading that way, with purpose.
I said that I was no longer judging. When I read over the fight between Shiro and Daniel I reminded them of the lowest-wins rule. I thought it was pretty logical, but I guess I'll explain it. THE RULES You lose when your aura is depleted to a degree I'm calling 'red level'. Better yet, let's imagine it as an hp system. When your hp gets to 0, you are in danger of taking serious injuries since your aura can no longer protect you, the match ends, and you lose. If nobody does that before time runs out, the one with the lowest aura wins. That means if two people spend five minutes fighting each other, and one of them has 5 hp left when the other has 20, but neither of them have 0, then the one with 5 wins. No matter what, if it goes to 0, that fighter is the loser. Diamond lost because her hp was reduced to 0. Abel lost because his hp was reduced to 0. Shiro won because his hp was lower than Daniel's, but not 0. If this was not the case, then I assume you would have ended Daniel/Shiro's match with the realization that Shiro was in the red, not that the time had run out. If you meant that Shiro's hp was in fact 0, then he lost. TLDR: Fighter A goes to red, he loses. Fighter B goes to red, he loses. Neither fighter goes to red, but time runs out, and A is in yellow while B is in orange, then B wins. Why did I make it this way? I'm sure you've seen every fighting game ever, in which if the time runs out, the fighter with the most hp wins. I chose not to do that because it encourages playing lame, not fighting and instead running away. By having the lower (BUT NOT 0) one win, it encourages the fighters to gamble. Do they try to get themselves lower, knowing that it will make them easier to be reduced to 0 (and be defeated)? Or do they try to win normally by reducing the opponent to 0? Fast forward to 7 minutes. As the time runs out, player 1 wins, because he had more total health. In normal matches, one player beats the other before time runs out (As in Mokuren/Diamond and Abel/Robert) but in this one, he ran out the clock by 'jumping around' and not actually fighting, as he admits. In theory, he could have landed one hit on the enemy, and waited for time to run out, and he would have won if the enemy couldn't strike back.
Technically Mokuren didn't land a hit on Diamond. She made Diamond punch herself. Mirror of Yata is the ultimate 'stop hitting yourself' semblance.
He also said he was judging who was going to win, and people should write around that. Didn't help poor Diamond though.
I think MokuxDiamond was the shortest fight so far.
I have to say Kaben, Trico used to scare me a bit, what with the threats to euthanize all male characters, but I think Mokuren has now taken that fear to a whole new levels, what with her CASUALLY EATING PEOPLE.
It's not casual. She is actually really sad that she has to eat people, and really pissed off before she does so. But I love all my characters.
I think MokuxDiamond was the shortest fight so far.
O_O Why'd they get kicked?
[morning post] Mokuren listened to her alarm going off for a minute and then shut it off. She hadn't slept last night, the screams of the recently deceased kept her awake night. And that bit of person stick between her eighth and ninth tooth refused to come out, which led to great annoyance. However, now morning had come, she got up and headed into the bathroom, cleaning her teeth vigorously with the brush until the feeling of that bit of person finally went away. Then, she got into the shower and washed her entire body, including the awesome fox tail she had. While Mokuren was good at keeping her self clean at dinner time, some specks still hovered, and it wouldn't do for them to be seen. Once hygiene was out of the way, she dried herself and proceeded to put her clothes from yesterday on, since she hadn't yet gotten the uniform. Mokuren hoped she would get the uniform soon, the ability to appear just like everyone else would be glorious. She would even go as far as to say it was Magnificent! Or something like that. She didn't need food though, so Mokuren decided to just mill around the school and get to know her way around. There was that duel thing later, but that was boring. Here was now.
So, what happened to Savo and Dharc?
Even Srutr the Fire King can't posses more than one person at one time.
I was thinking more like Wisp Spirits. Bodiless entities that could posses humans if there where humans to posses, but if not where rather useless aside from their ability to float and for emply to see what they can see. The possessing thing could still keep with needing humans, just slightly less hassle to keep them in one space.
