So, if hiding behind a wall gave +4 cover bonus, then shooting that wall would give the wall +4 cover. And so Deimos would reduce it to +2
God is around, and should be posting soon. He is just fixing some stuff in his thread. Haven't seen Behemoth since the last post though.
I was addressing Kaben, Pyro.

That was a very good explanation. I'm currently working with a character named Nero who also have trouble with human emotions, and it's an interesting challenge to make it work.

It would actually be more of a challenge to have a character with perfect understanding of the whole emotional spectrum. It's not that she doesn't have them, but rather, she doesn't understand what feeling relates to what. And nor does she quite get why people don't do something they want to do.
Mokuren had not really thought beyond the moment - like everything she did that wasn't killing something - and so the hug was starting to get a bit awkward for some people, and Skyra was sweaty as well which menat it wasn't the most comfortable. But then, just before going off to the locker room, Skyra mentioned her comment being 'cheesy'. Of course, that send her mind reeling into totally different tangents, and wondering if the cantina had any cheese. And if it did, she then wondered what kinds of cheese it had. And then if Grimm could produce cheese. It sounded illogical, since the melted, but it could also happen.

So, Mokuren left the gym and headed to the cantina, not exactly forgetting about Skyra, but having her mind fixed on something that was percieved as more immidiately important, espeically considering Skyra was no longer physically present to hold the scattered neurons that made up Mokuren's paltry excuse for a brain. Cheese was important, and she would find out exactly what cheeses where stocked. There would be cheese for everyone, except the people that didn't like cheese, then there would be not-cheese for them. Not-cheese was like cheese, but it was not.
"How would a rope made of cheese work? Would it, or would it knot?" she muttered, scurring along the hallways, lost in thought of cheese and knots.
Mokuren - much like myself - doesn't really have what everyone else takes for granted. That being, understanding of emotions. She just acts on the moment without any knowledge behind the act. A qoute from Terry Prachett's Hogfather rather perfectly encapsles this. 'Things just happen, what the hell?'. While it all may seem strange and hasty, it's just Mokuren comforting someone who is crying. And the reason I don't want to do a Colab is because, for me, the scene is going to end really soon, because that is also Mokuren. There has only been Mokuren caught off guard by the new, old, feeling, but she hasn't walked up to Skyra and said 'I love you, let's get married!'. That sort of thing, that sort of understanding, is going to take a while. The pacing might be a bit disjointed, but in the end, it all blances out.
Sorry for the double post.

At what point in RWBY do two characters go from just meeting to comforting one another on every problem they've ever had in there lives. I thought that generally waited for the fourth or fifth interaction on the show.

We could try for just a little bit of subtly here people. I mean reading this I sort of got the impression that they're going to start making out any second and literally they've just met/

The show can take a bit more of a leeway with these sort of things. Since they are controlling everyone, they judge how and when and where. In RP there is two different parties, sometimes with their own set of plans, and so things sometimes go down the middle.

Also, you have to be a real heartless asshole not to confort someone who is crying, regardless of weither or not you have just met them.
Shooting at cover would grant the cover it's own bonus, and so Deimos would half that with her own trait. At least, that is how I see it.
Hey guys, if you're having a one on one interaction between two characters and you're both online at more or less the same time would you mind creating a collab. They eight sentence posts that appear every five minutes are sort of getting on my nerves.

I could add a metric fuckton of fluff to each post if you want.
Looking on at the way Skyra reacted, Mokuren saw that, in front of her, was a broken little Kitty. One that needed mending, much like the mending Mokuren never got. The tears where to much for Mokuren to handle, and so, throwing caution to the wind, she moved forward to envelop Skyra in a comforting hug.
"It'sok. I will compliment you a million times a day if I must. I can't abide seeing such a beautiful girl like you cry, or feel any sort of sadness. It will no do, and I shall not stand for it" Mokuren's tone was stern, as if telling off everyone who ever passede over complimenting Skyra, and even more strangely, telling off everyone who would, in the future, not compliment her.
Also, Deimos traced the trajectory and 'then' fired off the Krak missile at the cover the Cultists where using, rather than any cultist directly. A Krak itself wouldn't have a big blast radius, but blowing apart the cover would have made some shrapnel, and robbed them of anywhere to hide.
