Nena listened to her minions getting all morbid, and felt like hitting them and decrying their morbid tones. But, eventually, she decided against it, the meat needed watching after all, or it would sprout legs and become a Boss Monster several floors higher than they could manage. But, as she listened to her minions, she heard they had pretty good ideas, with the dueling and the helping at the not-dyingness. it was a nice thing to hear. She might even help them, when the meat was all eaten. It was a strange mob, one that was defeated by teeth rather than fist, and didn't give anything for actually beating it. Eventually, however, Minion A and Minion B stopped talking, and Minion A did something with his hand. Nena curiously copied him, and found a floating screen of shiny.
"Ohh..." she exclaimed, before hitting a few buttons to see what they did, and it came up with a message box. She had vague recollections of a week before, when she met a cute, ambitious fox girl. So, feeling nice and warm, she started to send her a heart-touching message about her adventures in the gorge up unto the point of getting minions, then she sent it. Maybe the girl was part of a large shop chain, and really super famous and rich like.

Then her Minion offered his bedroll, which was a clear minion mistake, but she didn't rib him, he was new, after all.
"It's only cold if you feel it, Minion. So you can have your minion rolls, I shall punch cold in the face, and laugh as it stares, slightly offended that I hit it for no clear reason"
Nenatalev didn't so much as blink when she got slapped on the ass, engrossed in the cooking. Eventually, she pulled it back out of the fire, and offered it to her minions.
"Apparently, the game lets me cook better than minions. I guess the guy who made this was a minionthrope or something" she said, before looking to the second minion man, who blathered about lots of strange things. Like, duck blood being used to grow seeds. And, some minion cuisine that sounded horrible.
"Are you ok? Do you have brain fever?" She asked, placing a hand on his head. "You are speaking all strange. Maybe it's the dirt food. Eat" She said, pushing the boar into his hands more. It wouldn't be dramatically better, but would taste more like food, and less like dirt.
Well, now Torrens and D'artagne are in the terrible position of deciding whether to kill one another. Perhaps they could gang up on the shaman, but unless D'Artagne helps the orcs there's no way that the horde is going to get where they need to go without having to slaughter their way through hundreds of angry orcs. And the King.

Say, maybe Emily should come back sometime soon?

The King is here?
@KabenSaal, I haven't forgotten about that Empyrean. He'll use it only when he desperately needs to, though, because he's only got that one little bit and hasn't figured out how to get more, short of begging.

Now Emily is gone, the only way to get more would be to Besech the Fire King. And that, is lengthy as fuck, considering he doesn't actually exist on the same plain Torrens does.
Posted.
Emily's re-entrence is going to be awesome. I can tell you now.

And, don't forget, Torrens still has a small Empyrean from Emily.
Nena woke up. It was not really a magnificent wake up, like it wasn't really a magnificent go down, but she woke up all the same, and now she was awake. Then, she saw the two people, and threw her fists in the air, in triumph.
"Haha! They told me I was mad to plant Minion Seeds, but they have grown! Who's mad now?!" She demanded, before another side of her thought outloud. "Well, just having the minion seeds doesn't stop you from being mad, just stops you from being mad about this particular thing" the train of surprisingly good logic ran through her head, before she sniffed, and smelled the meat. "Hmmm...." she muttered, grabbing one of the pieces of pork, seemingly ignoring the fact that it was really hot, and bit into it. However, she spat it out and threw it away moments later.
"Minions don't cook, and this is why" she exclaimed, pushing them away from the fire and taking over. Logically, it should not have made any difference, but this was a Game, and games did not run off logic.
Ohh. Right. I was waiting for him to get back to camp before posting. I'll get something up, she's back in camp, right?
We're outta the gorge. Why we waitin on them? I'm the one that's gotta kick they collective asses

But, what about camp? You have just got here, why leave so soon?
