While hugging Rocket Man, Taokafka suddenly felt a shift. The ground beneath his feet felt different, less flat, and there was a sort of... energy in the air. Wow! There's a lot of seithr here! No one has used any of it! I bet I could use if for years and still have some, meow! Taokaka suddenly interjected. What's seithr? Kafka asked while investigating the new surroundings. Instead of crappy blockland, sweeping fields, and actual real grass greeted him. It's magic stuff, since we're from the Kaka clan, we just kinda know how to use it, meow.

Kafka closed his eyes and felt the seithr around him. Yes, there was so much here. Powerful techniques were now within his grasp. He reopened his eyes, and saw CEG staring expecting-ly at him. "Oh, right, I'm the only one who's played this game." Taokafka said, rubbing the back of his head. "Well, I'm a little rusty, but I think we should go to Castle
Town to gather supplies. They should definitely have real food meow. To Castle Town!"

As Taokafka was walking through to the town, he decided to test something out. Hey, Tao, I wanna try something. Okay, what is it, meow? I'm going to try our Overdrive, so get ready! Suddenly, Taokafka held his left hand out, to signal a stop. "Guys, stand back for a sec, alright? I'm gonna try something." He cleared his throat, and stretched out. "Overdrive: Almost becoming two!" He shouted, and a cat-girl very similar in appearance to Taokafka showed up. She was blue, and slightly transparent though. She emanated a strange energy, which they both recognized as seithr. "Wow, Tao is outside of Weird Boy's head, meow!" She said, testing out her new energy body. "Anyways, I'm going back in your head, meow." Taokaka said as she disappeared in a flash of light.
Oh, yeah, that makes sense. Thanks.
Looks fine, though I do have a question. Do Deathlok and Grim Shadow have souls? They are both not technically alive. Was Matt's soul returned to him after he was resurrected? Had he ever truly died in the first place?
Prolouge - A normal day for Deathlok

"C'mon. C'mon!" Matt whispered. He had been waiting on this rooftop for 20 minutes now, and finally someone criminal looking had sprung up. Some scruffy white dude with his hands in his sweatpants pockets. That was super shady, but he hadn't pulled a weapon on anyone yet. It was so frustrating being a hero sometimes. Finally, he spotted some other dude, and there was that criminal glint in his eyes. Matt tuned in, and just as he expected, a "Gimme your money!" was half-yelled, and a knife was drawn.

"Showtime." Matt said to himself, grinning. He hopped off of the building, using his foot boosters to slow his fall enough not to make an indent on the pavement. "Hey, douchebag!" Matt shouted to the criminal, hands cupped around his mouth/speaker to amplify the sound. A pissed off and surprised mugger took a look back to see a robot teenager taunting him. "Who the hell 'er you?" He asked, shifting his focus to the metal boy. "I'm Iron Heir." Matt said as he drew his blade. "Wanna knife fight?"

Knife-guy dashed ahead and made an attempt to stab Matt in the side. Matt dodged swiftly, and threw a punch at his face. The criminal crumpled beneath Matt's metallic fist and groaned in pain. Matt put his foot on the criminal's chest and aimed the katana at his face. "Dude, I know you're probably strapped for cash, but robbing people isn't the answer. Now get out of here, before I call the cops." Matt placed his foot on the ground, and watched the criminal run off, rubbing his face.

"So, hi." Matt said, now directing his attention to the businessman trembling in fear. "It's cool dude, I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm a hero, saving people is what I do."
I'm planning on playing a magic based user, who wields tomes like in Fire Emblem. Maybe I'll give him swords too, and he'll just become Robin. Also, I like Gentle's idea. Reminds me of the Omnitrix, except replace "Alien" with "Alternate Universe"
In case you were wondering, yes, I do have an obsession with Fire Emblem. Shut up, it's totally healthy.
I kind of wanted to be third, or last, but I guess I'll post now.
I think I get it. It's like every world you get a new skill tree based on that world, and you have the choice of investing more in one of the skill trees each world.
Did I get it right?
"Hmph. I think I'm going the right way." Crowen said, checking his map once again. He was on his way to a small and quaint village, hopefully one where he could find some work. It wasn't very likely, in all honestly, but what other choice did he have? He had already combed the other town clean, at least this one had a chance of producing a pittance. Being a Mercenary was generally unpleasant. You saw death constantly, work was sporadic, and there was no guarantee you or your client, in some cases, would even live to see your paycheck, but it was the only thing Crowen could do. He was a born fighter, simple as that.

"That's life, I guess." Crowen mumbled to himself as he slipped the map back into his pocket. Once he looked back up though, he was greeted with a surprise. Though he could barely see it, there was a mass of people gathering. Judging by there armor, they were bandits, but this was much to organized for a regular attack by them. They wanted this village, and they were going to great lengths to get it. Luckily, every bandit was much more focused on what was in front of them then what was behind them, so Crow could sneak around them in the heat of battle, and kill off some of the stragglers who broke off slightly from the main west-flank group.

He ultimately decided to chop his way through to the front of the village. He dashed through the west flank of the army, and began slicing up bandits. He was covered in the blood of four men, and sporting a few small axe wounds, before he made it to the front. He normally never exerted himself this much, and decided that he needed a pick me up. He quickly made his way to a robed fellow, and introduced himself. "Hey, mind protecting me for a second?" Crowen asked, gasping for breath as he downed some of his vulenrary. "You guys need help? I can add in my blade, for a price." Crowen said as he rearmed himself and faced the bandit horde in front of them.
Incredible. I'll begin reading right away.
