Rune, Jesus H. Christ that post is long. I feel so inferior...
Seriously though, that was awesome. Also, marking character's dialogue with set colors seems like a good idea to help keep speech uncluttered. Mind if I steal that idea?
Whew, posted. Man, I'm surprised at how fun Tai is to write. I should have more idiot characters!
Tai had barely even noticed the first earthquake. His natural blissfulness combined with the fact that his MP3 player was turned up way to loud allowed him to ignore pretty much everything. He had assumed someone was doing construction nearby, or he'd walked onto a rocky road somehow or something, but point was he just wasn't paying attention. He certainly noticed the second quake though, it landed him flat on his face.

"Ow..." Tai groaned, getting up and wiping the dust off of his now scuffed blue jacket, along with taking off his headphones to avoid future accidents. Suddenly though, another quake. Tai quickly steadied himself as best he could, with nothing to grab onto. He succeeded in not falling a second time, but it seemed somethings were not as lucky. The tall buildings of Marunouchi creaked under the pressure. Tai may not have been the smartest, but he knew that meant bad things, generally. He probably should have been rushing out of there. His first thought was the subway, but he quickly remembered why he was walking today; he forgot his pass. Plus, the massive quake would have definitely shaken something out of place, so that was a no go.

His thought train was interrupted by his phone buzzing. A small message appeared on it's screen as a new app was added. Confused as hell, Tai just decided to hit 'no' because that seemed like the right answer. He just stood there, staring at his screen for a moment, before a tremendous crashing sound rang through his ears. He focused and saw that there was a car in front of him. Had it not stopped, he would probably be saddled with a broken arm, and a few broken ribs, if he wasn't dead on impact. That wasn't super important now though, the thing that stopped the car was much weirder than vehicular manslaughter. A small red creature with a lond hair braid and a cornucopia of suction cups all over it's body.

"Hey, human, I'm Obariyon! I need my freedom, so get ready to bite the dust!" It yelled in a, frankly quite annoying voice. Tai stood there dumb struck for a second before snapping out of his stupor. If it's a fight this little demon thingy wanted, Tai was happy to oblige. "Sure." He said. With that, the demon quickly leaped at Tai, who swung around his bass guitar just in time for it to collide with Oba's face. This sent the red creature sprawling out onto the concrete. This gave Tai the time he needed to unzip the bass's case and wield the axe like an axe. Obariyon got up, a grimace plastered across it's red face. The two rushed at each other, Tai's superior range with the bass clearly winning out. A low twang was heard from the guitar as it again hit the short demon, this time right on the top of the head.

With the monster stunned from the head blow, all Tai had to do to wear it completely out was a skyrocketing uppercut type move. When the monster landed back on the ground it held out it's palm as a sign of cease fire. "Hey, you wanna make a contract, right? You need me to do it." He said. Tai, as oblivious as ever, tried to formulate some questions. Before he could even get a word out though, his new red friend disappeared. Tai had no time to mourn however, his phone buzzed as a notification that a new 'demon' had been added to his 'squad'.

"Wow, what a great day to miss the tram." Tai said, with a small smirk. What to do now though...?
Well if no one wants him, I'mma take Obariyon.

EDIT: I guess if we're all sharing, I love Soul Hackers.
Man. Reading maps is hard. Anyways, I'm gonna wait until someone else posts so I can get a grasp of the situation. question though, how far away should the characters be from one another? Should everyone be in Akihabara, or should they be more spread out, like over to Ochanomizu and Ueno?

EDIT: Well, I know Poltergeist and Fairy are in the DS2 tutorial.
Hm. I certainly wouldn't mind one more person, but I'm largely indifferent. As you are the GM, I place all judgement to you.
Hm. That's weird. Ah well, isn't that important.

EDIT: Okay, so I went into the raw and opened the image in an independent tab, and now it works? This is really odd.
PKMNB0Y I, uh, think your image tag broke?

Name: Taidana Wakahisa

Age: 16

Gender: Male

Personality: Taidana is kind of a loser. He is quite lazy, simply walking through life at a lackadaisical pace whenever possible. He is horrid at making decisions for himself, and is quite naive. His awkward charm is accentuated by his clumsiness when not focused, and his forgetfulness. He dislikes acknowledging his past mistakes, particularly those relating to romance. This is not because he is super narcissistic, but he does believe most if not all relationship issues aren't his fault. He is a tad selfish and thinks most often of himself before others. He is overall, quite childlike, and although he never tries to be mean, he does so accidentally sometimes.

Tai has a variety of interests. He plays the bass guitar very frequently, and is even in a small local band. He's decent enough, having worked at it for a year or two. Something he's much more of a savant at is fighting. Despite minimal training, he has been labeled as "best fighter in school" by most of the people who know him. This is probably due to his propensity of getting in fights to try and defend women, whether they need it or not. His favorite musical genre is western rock, punk, and alternative, even if he can't understand the words. He plays retro games on and off.

Biography: Taidana was the middle child of two rich parents. Though they did spoil him often, as with their other two children, they wanted him to have a relatively normal life. They sent him to public school. There he occasionally got into fights, and accrued a small gaggle of friends. With these friends, he formed a band to gain popularity. He even got into a relationship that sadly ended in a rough break up. Soon after, he had to leave due his father accepting a business opportunity. Once at his new school, he again joined a band, forgetting all about his previous school and girlfriend.

Strength: He's a great fighter.

Weakness: He's kind of an idiot.

Demons:
Main:
  • Obariyon

Reserves:
  • None

Weapon: Due to the suddenness of the situation, all he has on him is his bass. If he were to get home to his brother's sword collection though...

Other: In case you couldn't tell, he's heavily based on Scott Pilgrim, the titular character of the graphic novel series, and movie.
And that's two! We're on a roll here, baby!

Sorry if my bio is short, I wanna keep the details (particularly of the relationship) under wraps.
