I've got this obsession of having all the statuses on my profile page with more than 2 likes. I know that when the wailing winds of darkness come for me, these thumbs up will keep them away!

Hey, I'm Kaithas. I'm still alive.

Well, if SEG_FAULT is a part of this they're directly opposed to the vigilantes. I had a sweet idea for the leader of SEG_FAULT, actually.

Ideally, the players could be in any faction, so it doesn't overstress the GM. The only thing that'd cause a problem with is the point distribution system.

Little bit shaky on that last thing.

EDIT: ninja'd. Yeah, I'd love to play an enemy hacker, especially that aforementioned leader XD
I'm not here to argue about your favorite character's toughness, regardless of how high it actually is. These fixers are new in town, they don't have "awesome" backyards or anything like that, and I'm not saying that the vigilantes were "born" with these skills. I'm saying that in order to be a halfway decent one you have to have them, or you don't end up in a group remotely like the Daemons. Sure, they'll never be as well rounded as Aiden is but neither will the Fixers.
First, thank you both for spoiling a huge section of the game for me. Leon directly said to keep spoilers out of sight earlier.

Please put them in hiders. That's what they're for.

Let's count off the advantages the vigilantes have, shall we? They have home court, can control the city, will likely be good at H2H, marksmanship, and driving. They can even essentially see the future with ctOS' crime prediction system. We're not talking hackers here, if we were you'd have a point. We're talking vigilantes, and if you can't take it to the street you can't really be a good one. How good would Aiden be if he couldn't drive, shoot, and beat down people like a pro?

Also, the police thinking you're bad@$$ isn't a good thing if they know where you live.
Well, they're not mutually exclusive, they can both exist at the same time. The big thing I worry about with his/hers is that the vigilantes have essentially every advantage over the fixers apart from numbers. I was just trying to get a more even war going with something the vigilantes desperately need being threatened.
Of course, someone has to hire SEG_FAULT! XD
Go ahead and write it up, I've been too busy to work on it XD

My offer to co-GM still stands though.
Or we could drop in an organization I came up with known as SEG_FAULT, which is computer speak for a program that tries to access or write over memory it shouldn't ever try to use.

The group are hackers for hire that erase and alter the ctOS system to change criminal records, prediction software and the like for whoever is the highest bidder, impeding vigilante efforts and police operations alike.

A sound soul... Dwells within a sound mind, and a sound body. -Maka Albarn.

“We've had twenty years of peace. You can't possibly expect it to fall apart that easily.”

“But it's so terribly boring, isn't it?” A tall figure responded, a red hood obscuring his identity from even Stein's piercing eyes, his soul seemingly non-existent. The scientist tried to release the Soul Sutures he was bound with, the sutures made from his own wavelength, turned against him. “This world isn't built for that kind of madness, the madness of freedom. No, someone has to do something about it. Someone has to control the situation.”

The Red Man turned away, attaching his bow to a holster running across his back. He left Stein behind, the Sutures not disappearing for a long time after he left.

And merely fifteen minutes after he had disappeared, a familiar top-hatted creature walked in his own, squeaky way up to Stein.

“My legend dates back to the twelfth century, but never have I seen such perfect timing for the Five Hour Storytelling Party.”

Stein cringed.

Welcome to Soul Eater: Chaos Rising.

Maka defeated Asura twenty years ago, and peace has gradually returned to the land, the heroes of the Kishin Crisis gradually settling into more or less normal lives. The heroine herself has taken over as chief Meister instructor alongside the still undead Sid, Tsubaki is now a specialized weapon teacher, and Death the Kid is 'the Kid' no longer.

But an undercurrent lurks under the newfound peace and stability, and as the new students of the Death Weapon Meister Academy begin to hunt their first souls, something may change their lives and the DWMA forever.

Character Sheet with Explanations:
Bold indicates a Meister category, italics show a Weapon slot.
Name:
Age: 14-18, though older and younger exceptions can be made, especially for weapon characters.
Race: Weapons have the ability to transform into a Demon Weapon form. Soul “Eater” Evans, for example, can become a scythe. Partial transformations are possible, though the great majority of weapons are far stronger with their Meister. Meisters, on the other hand, are extremely athletic humans who have the ability to “Soul Resonate” with their weapon, a process by which a Soul Wavelength is passed back and forth between wielder and weapon until it becomes powerful enough to be released in a massive blast. Most Meisters can only Resonate with a single weapon. Additionally, some Meisters can perceive the souls of their enemies, allowing them to tell Kishin Egg from ordinary human.
Meister Abilities/Weapon Form and Description: A Meister Ability is a special technique or attack unique to your character, such as Sid Barrett's Compulsive Burial or Living End. For weapons, put your weapon form and appearance here. Pictures are fine.
Appearance: Human appearance for your char.
Personality: What your char acts like.
Biography: Your char's life so far.
Partner: This blank is not compulsive at the beginning, but this is where you put the Meister or Weapon you're partnered with.
Other: Anything else.

And, finally, your staff and the rules.

Krayzikk and I are staffing this game, and (while we're both crazy) we're reasonably experienced, so if we say something it's generally for a reason.

Rules: READ THESE THINGS.

1. Listen to the staff.
2. No gmodding, metagaming, autohitting, bunnying, etc.
3. Your characters are not the main characters of the anime. There are no Chosen Ones and you're gonna have to earn your power, it will not be given to you.
4. Put the word FOOL in all caps in the Other blank to prove that you read this.
5. Follow site rules.
6. Above PG-13 stuff gets taken to PM.
7. Profiles need to be approved.
8. Have fun!

Kaithas:
Name: Kiora Smythe
Age: 16
Race: Weapon
Weapon Form: A rather irregular longsword that looks old, more like something you'd see rusting on a museum shelf than a weapon actually used. The blade looks incredibly sharp, to be sure, but small dings and dents line the sides and edge. The guard appears to have been once a beautiful piece of craftsmanship but has been battered into a mere dark shadow of its old glory. Only the handle remains clean and beautiful, an emerald set in the gold pommel.
Appearance:
Personality: Relatively outspoken, Kiora isn't one to back down.
Biography: I'm setting an excellent example by having a To Be Revealed, I know.
Partner: Looking for one.
Other: Autopproval, FOOL.

So pumped for this!
