I've got this obsession of having all the statuses on my profile page with more than 2 likes. I know that when the wailing winds of darkness come for me, these thumbs up will keep them away!

Hey, I'm Kaithas. I'm still alive.

IC: "You want me to tell you what's stupid," Tabitha asked the Egyptian girl next to her with a careless air.

"The fact that they're fighting with magic while in a magically supported pocket dimension."

OOC: To make it clear, that's Myra. Somewere, I'll get an Alexandra deal up soon.
@Yog: Alexandra blocked them.
This sounds positively sweet. count me in no matter the level of writing.
IC: Despite the obvious tension, Alexandra's voice was quiet, sword still at the ready in case Adrian tried anything. "Alec, I do everything for a reason. Trust me when I say that this is not just because I'm angry, because I'm not. Let me do this."
IC: Alexandra sensed the magic coming from behind her, and with the absence of light she could uncover her eyes. She jumped backward again, letting Adrian's sword cut viciously into thin air. As she returned to the ground she spun Runeweaver behind her back to repel the magic fireballs, then swung it quickly forward again to cut at the (hopefully) still off balance Adrian.

IC: Tabitha shook her head and moved over next to Myra, pinching the bridge of her nose.
IC: Alexandra tried to block Adrian when the flash came, covering her eyes with her off hand.

Was the blade up, down... She made an educated guess and parried, rewarded with the clang of bronze on iron, trying to shake off the flash and hopping back to avoid the rest of the force. Using Runeweaver one handed meant there was no way she could resist a strike from the son of Ares for more than a few instants.

IC: "You IDIOT," Tabitha yelled at Albert, her eyes protected by her abilities.

"You're going to get someone killed! They're fighting with the assurance that the other can prevent death, but what you're doing will mean someone isn't going to be able to block or dodge."
IC: If Alexandra had been using a sword like Adrian's, the fight would have been over there and then, but Runeweaver was light enough that she could pull it back and sidestep his assault, spinning and aiming a strike at his exposed back. Not powerful enough to kill, but enough to barely cut the skin.
IC: And now all she had to do was survive.

Alexandra's blade barely leaped up in time to block Adrian's strike, her opponent's strength forcing her a little backward. She broke the blade lock with a strike directly at the shoulder facing her, attempting to take advantage of Runeweaver's comparative speed and the fact that his fighting style was obviously altered to protect the side she wasn't fighting, hopefully causing this one to be more vulnerable.
IC: The much shorter girl looked up into his face and smirked, Runeweaver shimmering into existence at her hip. "Really now. And I suppose that you would beat the living pulp out of me if we fought without using our abilities?"
IC: "I can stop you. Ares isn't the only one who knows how to fight, you know."

Alexandra gave Andrew a look that plainly said Shut your pie hole.

She glanced at the orb for an instant, then back at Adrian, feeling the magic from the orb radiate out. "It's a demigod of Hephaestus' creation, judging by the magic."
