I've got this obsession of having all the statuses on my profile page with more than 2 likes. I know that when the wailing winds of darkness come for me, these thumbs up will keep them away!

Hey, I'm Kaithas. I'm still alive.

You'll see. I don't like spoiling plot stuff when it's far cooler to do it in game, but Mak and I have been planning this out somewhat.
Also, Tabitha had some convulsions and grew a pair of wings.
And that, my friends, is why I love having surprises.
IC: Tabitha was about to follow the others when words from the past echoed in her ears.

Died.

A younger Tabitha pulled a wounded man out of a burning car, not noticing how abnormally light he was.

The older Tabitha shuddered and fell to the ground, a nearby evil pounding into her ears, into her skull, into the base of her mind, her back starting to ache, her entire body wracked in pain. Her blade glowed brighter-

Yesterday.

He smiled and thanked her, not even flinching when the other man touched his shoulder.

Something looked like it was crawling under the skin of Tabitha's back, trying to burst out, the daughter of Hades biting her lip so hard that blood was running down her chin, that presence pounding, pounding, pounding-

Morning.

A wink and they were gone, the midnight feather falling, falling into her.

A massive tearing sound and a shriek of pain, the back of her shirt punctured by two pitch black wings, spreading wide and drying in the air, the uninjured part of the shirt turning red with blood before the wounds healed over, the presence dying away, acting wary.
IC: "At least Austin isn't fighting with everyone else here." Alexandra sighed and held the bridge of her nose.

OOC: Tabitha sooooon.
IC: Tabitha shook off her reverie.

"I'll take point. I can deal with any level of power they throw at me."

OOC: Surprises coming soon.
IC: "I'm not one of those. No."

Tabitha stepped back, her hand going to Memento, about to draw it- and the inscription on the blade flared to life.

Memento Mori.

Remember that you will die.

And with a cringe, she remembered what religion had spread that phrase around the globe.

IC: Alexandra smiled and nodded. "Thank you. Now, we're a little bit late."
IC: A figure stood behind the clones, seemingly unperturbed by the blaster bolts flying around him and the droid armies arranged against his men, seemingly waiting-

And he moved, reaching up to his in-ear communicator and pressing the send button, speaking slightly more angrily than most Jedi would have done under the circumstances. Jason was letting his anger build, his Force aura growing stronger but greyer. "I read you, Doc. Support is coming your way."

He turned to the three squads behind him, letting up on the earpiece. Taurus squad was heavily armored, Gryphon's armor was built for speed while not sacrificing protection, and the members of Roc squad were his jetpack specialists, who had been grounded for the majority of the battle. The Separatists were well aware of them.

"Gryphon Squad, support Phoenix. Try to cover the Sergeant's charge while you're there, but your primary priority is to prevent Doc from being overrun. Taurus, you're with me. We're going the frontal assault route. Roc, while the Separatists are distracted with Rayux's men, I want you to try something just the slightest bit crazy. Swap suits with Gryphon, then go to the armory and request a Z-6 for each of you, a few detonators, and your jetpacks."

Each of the squad commanders nodded and turned away, going off toward his men as Jason clicked into the comm channels once more. "All able soldiers, cover Taurus and Roc squads! Let's crack this nut open!"

***

"Go, go, go!"

Jason and Taurus ran forward, the Jedi deflecting blaster bolts directed at him with ease. The clones quickly fell into cover, destroying the targets that the Jedi's furious assault didn't. But as much as they were doing, they were only a distraction. Meanwhile, a squad wearing the distinctive insignia of a giant eagle joined Phoenix behind cover, taking careful shots. The Separatist comm chatter changed, focusing fire on those soldiers, trying to eliminate them as quickly as possible, as they marched ever closer to Doc's position, sheer numbers overcoming the skill of the clones-

And then the onslaught began. Six lights appeared on the Republic lines, six shooting stars flying into the sky. And as the disguised members of Roc squad rained explosives and blaster fire down on the Separatists, the droids realized their mistake. The march toward the clones had put them solidly in the middle of no-man's land, and there was no cover to protect the majority of the assault force. If it had been an organic force, the battle would have been won there and then as panic spread through the ranks of the assembled droids. As it was, however, the ground troops had to finish the job.

One order broke through the static and chatter:

"Advance!"
I will post tomorrow morning, I promise. I'm halfway done, but I had an AP test today and I'm falling out of my chair.
I'll post tomorrow, when my power stops flickering.
