More of an inspiration than a rip-off. You're borrowing ideas you like from various sources instead of just copying one thing.
In my opinion, there's no such thing as an original character, because there are no original ideas any more. You can try your hardest, but unless you make something totally bizarre, your character will almost always be similar to someone else's, whether you realize it or not.
So long as you're not just recreating the exact same character with a different name, and you actually put some effort into making it different, don't worry too much about it.

So, I made some minor tweaks to Darius's Fear/backstory, mostly to fix what I just mentioned and also go into more detail on his motivations. Nothing major.
...I'm rereading Darius's character sheet, and I feel like his Biggest Fear could have been worded better.
From what I've written, it sounds like he's out to rise high or get his name into the history books for personal fame/fortune, when it's more about doing right by his family and making sure they and their descendants are in a good position.

Eventua's gone? I think all the people who were making females are desperately trying to get away from having their characters in Duncan's harem. Futile, of course, since his harem contains all characters, past, present, future, and hypothetical.
Plot twist:
Darius is the true Harem Master.
The only reason he will end up near Duncan is because everyone else will end up near Duncan, but Darius won't be quite sure what to say to win them over. Little will he know, he will have already won everyone over, and they will only be near Duncan as an excuse to be near Darius.

If that was actually the case, I imagine Duncan would have a hard time finding a new job should he lose his priest gig as well.
