@Not Fishing Not that I'm against changing it up, but how common is it for crossbreeding offspring taking after the race of their father and not the mother?

To my knowledge, they always take on the race of their mother. They might inherit some racial traits from their father, but overall, it's mostly their mother's race. For example, the Bretons are pretty much an entire race of crossbeeds (due to elven masters impregnating human slaves), but that happened over several generations of breeding, and even then they still look more human than elf.

Here's an in-game source, in case you're wondering.
elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Notes_on_…

While everyone's here pondering about races, I'm here thinking if Lord Vensor is going to be the only guy in the crew who thought the Stormcloaks were the "correct" side to choose in the war. Oh well, IC drama!

SKEYRERM BERLURNGS TER THER NERDS!
Fun fact: In Elder Scrolls lore, children end up taking on the race of their mother. Cross-breeds are possible, as proven with the Bretons, but that took several generations. In the case of the half Nord half Redguard that Altered posted, Kalthar would be considered a Redguard.

Edit: And I just realized I forgot to describe my character's eye colour. Fixed.
Hate to sound nitpicky, but don't you mean Riverwood?

Dalton Greyjoy

Dalton stood on one of the many docks of Lordsport's harbor, where he observed one of the freshly built ships setting sail for the first time. Another addition his personal fleet. The other Lords were expanding their fleets as well, under his orders. Despite this excellent progress, his expression was one of boredom. He would much rather be out reaving, and so would the other Lords, but if his prediction came true then the wait would be well worth it in the end.

He was clad in a simple set of light steel armor in the Ironborn style, with a black cape with the Kraken emblem of House Greyjoy on it. But instead of the usual gold, it was red. His sword, Nightfall was sheathed at his left hip.

There were four men accompanying him. Two of them were simple guards. The third was the Drowned Man, Edron, priest of the Drowned God, in his robes of green, grey, and blue. He was an elderly man, and it was he who personally baptized Dalton. Edron had just finished the customary blessings that were required before a brand new ship could set sail. He had long brown hair that was beginning to grey, and his face was lined and creased with age.

"When was the last time the any of the Isles boasted a fleet this large?" Dalton questioned, the corners of his mouth twitching upwards in a smile.

Before Edron could answer, another man approached, accompanied by another guard. He too wore robes, but they were of a different style. He was no Drowned Man. He was a maester. The chain around his neck was proof enough of that. He was completely bald, and had only a short dark beard. He looked to be in his early thirties.

"Maester Doric." Dalton acknowledged. He had noticed him in the corner of his vision but had not turned to face him. While he understood the necessity of a maester, he had very little respect for them. Men who would put down a blade and give up the thrill of battle so they could pick up a book and spend their days stuffed away in a library. It was one thing for a Mainlander to do it, as their culture was not built around battle, but Doric was an Ironborn.

"My Lord." Doric greeted him, a roll of paper clutched in his hand. "A raven came from King's Landing. It brings dire news."

"Yes yes, dark wings, dark words and all that. Let's have it." Dalton extended a hand to the side, eyes still fixed on the freshly built ship that was growing further and further away. When Doric handed over the scroll, Dalton unrolled it and looked down to read it.

King Viserys of House Targaryen, the first of his name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, is dead.

Dalton smirked.

In accordance with the decree of the Great Council of 101AC and the laws of Gods and Men, his crown has passed to Crown Prince Aegon Targaryen, the Second of his name, Rightful King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm.

Dalton smiled.

May their reign be long and peaceful.

Dalton snorted in amusement.

Then he crumpled the letter and tossed it into the sea.

"What news, my Lord?" Edron asked.

"King Viserys, titles titles titles, is dead. He has been succeeded by Prince Aegon, titles titles titles. Of course, we all know that Viserys had already named the girl Rhaenyra as heir. She is not without friends of her own, and the Targaryens have never been without ambition." Then he turned back to Doric, finally looking at him for the first time. "Send ravens to the Iron Lords. Tell them the news. Let them know that the storm is almost here, and they are to finish up whatever ships they are currently building with all haste. We're witnessing a succession crisis in the making."

Dalton Greyjoy, the Red Kraken

The eldest son of the Lord Reaver of Pyke, Dalton Greyjoy was known to be wild. He first started rowing and the age of five, and at the age of ten began reaving alongside his uncle. He became an experienced reaver, having fought in several battles, and sailed to lands such as the Basilisk Isles and Old Ghys. By the time he was fourteen, he had already claimed four 'salt wives' and owned a Valyrian steel sword named Nightfall, which had been acquired from a defeated corsair.

When he was fifteen, he watched his uncle die in battle. Dalton managed to avenge him, but not without taking a great number of wounds, emerging covered in blood, and earning the nickname 'the Red Kraken.' When his father died that same year, Dalton returned to the Iron Islands to claim the Seastone Chair, becoming Lord of the Iron Islands.

His first act was to order the expand the Iron Islands' navy - constructing longships, forging swords, and training soldiers. His reason for doing so was, in his own words: "the storm is coming."

History

The Iron Islands are located off the western coast of Westeros - more specifically, west of the Riverlands. There are thirty-one islands overall, and it is the smallest region in the Seven Kingdoms. They have a rocky landscape with poor soil, scarce natural resources, and frequent storms. They are home to the Ironborn, who are a primarily seafaring people that excels at sailing, fighting, and raiding. For thousands of years the Ironborn have raided the mainland, in order to compensate for their own lack of wealth and resources, but they do engage in trade. The Ironborn keep slaves, known as thralls, although they cannot be bought or sold, and can earn their freedom. The dominant religion in the Isles is worship of the Drowned God, and their priests are called Drowned Men. A common saying is "What is dead may never die, but rises again harder and stronger."

The Greyjoys were among the oldest and most powerful Houses in the Iron Isles, claiming to be one descended from the Grey King, a legendary figure in Ironborn history. Their house words are "We do not sow." The Greyjoys were bested only by Houses Greyiron and Goodbrother when it came to number of Kings chosen by the Kingsmoot, an ancient tradition in which the Ironborn lords and captains elected their own ruler to serve as King of the Iron Islands. The position was not hereditary, and another Kingsmoot was to be held upon when the recent King died.

Unfortunately, the tradition of the Kingsmoot would eventually be ended by the Greyirons. Eventually the Greyiron Dynasty would enter a decline after the invasion of the Andals, being replaced by the Hoares. Centuries later, King Harwyn Hardhand would go on to conquer the Riverlands, and his grandson, a tyrant known as King Harren the Black, would construct a massive castle named Harrenhal. During Aegon's Conquest, Aegon Targaryen successful managed to incite a Riverlord revolt against King Harren's rule. Aegon then used his dragon to raze Harrenhal to the ground, killing Harren, his sons, and most of his supporters.

The Ironborn lost the Riverlands, which Aegon then granted to the Tullys. Eventually Aegon would conquer the Iron Islands themselves, but would allow the conquered Ironborn to choose Vickon Greyjoy as Lord of the Iron Islands. Afterwards, the Ironborn would mainly keep to themselves, staying out of politics and no longer permitted to raid mainland Westeros.

Note: I'm not 100% well-versed in Ironborn lore and had to make use of numerous wikis. Sorry if there are any inaccuracies.
Can I be Dalton Greyjoy?
Still here! Sorry, it's been weird lately. Getting on a computer to write has been hard. @Not Fishing I'm ready to go when you are. Do you wanna start the document?

I've already posted. Not sure what you mean by starting a document though.
So is that Inn collab still happening or what's going on?
