Remember that if you ever feel like you're terrible at naming things, just know that my friends dragged me into playing a dark and serious MMO where a boss was named "Deathkill."

“Why thank you.” Lusser said to Feuertanz with a grin, one of his teeth poking out from between his lips. It was rare that he received praise of any sort from others, so he often took whatever he could get. He didn’t completely agree with Erion’s words, however. What value does knowledge and experience have if it is not applied? To Lusser, it had none; one might have a larger deck to draw from, but if those new cards were worthless, the time spent gaining them was worthless as well. However, the opportunities gained from this expedition could very well be more than worth the effort. The power to be a lord, or something even greater…

“But we are leaving soon,” Lusser asked, snapping out of it quickly enough. “Yes? Time waits for no man, as they say.” He tapped his foot against the cold ground repeatedly, quite anxious to leave at this point. His ambition was getting the better of him, it seemed, though to Lusser himself, the fact that nothing could get the better of that ambition was what made him fit for greatness.
You say that when Lavulman is participating in the RP. He tends to post about three to five times that, no problem.

I'm going to tell you a little secret. The reason my posts look so long is because I usually sort them into indented paragraphs in a more contemporary writing style (i.e. creating a new paragraph when someone speaks) as well as leave an empty space between each paragraph. If you get rid of the formatting, or just count the number of words or characters or whatever, it's really comparable to yours or most other posts.

You'll need to go through hell first. As in, the remains of Minecraft Forums. Even then, I'd have to dig through countless PMs exchanged between me and him.

Let's still celebrate.

I am trying desperately to rid myself of said hell ASAP. Unfortunately, it seems to be a slow process.

Yeah, ok. HEY @Stale Pizza, WE'RE HAVING A COOL PARTY; CUTE GIRLS AND CUTE GUYS AND GOOD DRINKS ALL AROUND maybe there's only one or two but still! YOU SHOULD COME OVER AND POST TO CELEBRATE MAYBE.

I would join but looks a little too late to join.

I don't think we're too far into the plot, to be honest. Though I skipped out on the original version of this, so I'm probably not the best guy to ask.

Also, second time Lugia's sweared. Let's go fuckin' celebrate.

Does it really still count if he used asterisks?
Maybe his soul was trapped inside the posts due to an ancient curse.
I can't think of anything meaningful that Lusser could add at the moment, and I'm too busy trying to perform stupid knife tactics in RE4 to try any harder to come up with something, so feel free to skip over me this time.
Lusser watched in wonder as fire appeared in Feuertanz’s hand from seemingly nowhere. He had seen magic before in his travels, but it still managed to capture his intrigue and ambition every time. He felt almost… disappointed to see it disappear from existence. He hoped to master such arts during his lifetime, the idea of making reality bend to his will about as tantalizing as making others do the same, though all he could do for now was crudely imitate it through his own deceptive dexterity. About as amazing to him was Erion’s own display of mastery over lightning, though he made sure to take note of it; the pokemon seemed to have a skeleton or two in his closet, that much was certain.

“Even the most seemingly mundane of roads are fraught with conflict,” Lusser said to Alina, speaking from his own experience. “At least, in some form or another. I would go as far as to suspect that other groups may be interested in the secret behind these ruins themselves, and I would hesitate to say that their methods or intentions would be as pure as our own.” Of course, Lusser’s own integrity was arguable, but in his mind, is was far better than the alternatives. He looked over to the Moere banner that Feuertanz had pointed to earlier, frowning as he thought to himself.
Am I being waited on? I'll try to get something written up soon, I have to finish up a post for another RP first.
Lusser frowned and stroked his chin as he tried to analyze the Kirlia beside him. Judging by what she said, she was some sort of soldier, though she seemed to lack the confidence one would expect from such an occupation. Perhaps Alina was simply incompetent, and this commander of hers was hoping to be rid of her for a while. One of the problems of indiscriminate conscription, he supposed. The cloaked Espurr, though easily less than half his height, seemed to have a much better understanding of the situation. Shaking the Quilava’s hand, Lusser found himself letting loose a short laugh along with his smile.

“Well, I suppose you could say I operate by the same principle.” Lusser said, understanding the fact that it was often that those he met never knew that he would be slighting them in the first place, but it was technically true nonetheless. Something about Feuertanz’s energy, despite his prior slight and seeming naivete, struck Lusser as likeable; he liked a Pokemon with passion only somewhat less than how much he despised those who haven’t worked a day in their lives.

“My name,” Lusser answered once he was prompted to introduce himself. “Is Lusser von Steigen. Formerly a banker, currently a gambler, and occasionally a showman of sorts. While I admit I am under-equipped, I can say for certain that I know my way around a fight. Hopefully, though, things shouldn’t escalate to that point during our journey.” He nodded and tipped his hat to the group, thinking his situation over; there was a wide-eyed acolyte, a cowardly soldier, a pint-sized knight, and himself. You have to play the cards you're dealt, Lusser reasoned, and if he didn't bother to stack the deck beforehand, then that was his own fault.
Well, I mean it's not like Nepoleon... er... never mind.

I think the comparison of Germany's failures in WWII shouldn't be made with France's failures in the Napoleonic Wars. It should be Germany's failures in WWI. Think about it; why did they fail in WWI? They were caught in a two front war with Russia and the rest of the Entente. Why did they fail in WWII? They were caught in a two front war with Russia and the rest of the Allied Powers. And it's not like the Napoleonic Wars, where they were a century old when WWI started, World War One happened two decades before the second one! Hitler even fought in it! And just when he signs a non-aggression pact with Russia, and you'd think he's learned his lesson, what does he do? He attacks Russia not only during one of the coldest winters in Russian history, but also long before he's done with Britain, and we all know how well that turned out for him. He somehow managed to combine the failures of two previous, major wars into one decision. I consider it to be one of the stupidest tactical moves in human history.

Man, I haven't ranted about history in a while. It feels good.
