Current I have an idea for an RP, but not sure about it. I know I wouldn't be able to GM it by myself, that's for sure.

Okay, here's my gobo.

Name : Grit

Gender: Male

Appearance: Grit stands at a whopping 4' tall... Yeah, not that impressive for a goblin. What stands out on him is his hair, whish is a silvery white, that seems to shimmer under the right light with all the colors in the spectrum. He's just the tiniest bit bulkier than the average goblin and his skin color seems to lean towards a brighter green.

Personality: Brave, focused, reliable. Grit is a goblin who is generally quiet, capable to talking but not as much as others. He remains observent of what goes on around him while also watching out for his fellow goblins, having a strong sense of loyalty.

Past Life History: He was once an average person for most of his life, generally staying out of trouble and taking up the hobby of wood carving. That is, until he found himself as part of a gang. While there was never guns involved, he'd been in his fair shair of fights. His former life came to an unfortunate end at the hands of a drunk driver.

Skill: Heightened Reflexes- As the name implies, Grit's reflexes are above the average goblin's. It allows him to react quickly to most any situation. The stronger this skill gets, the faster and more immediate the reaction, and the harder it is to get a fight him.

Other: Has in interest in woodcarving/whittling. I wonder if I'm a Mighty Goblin...
Okay. I got 2 skills in mind to pick from. One of them is heightened reflexes. The other I can't think of a name for, but it allows them to recover stamina quickly, or spend less time resting or sleeping to get back to full strength.

EDIT: Is there anything wrong with either of those skills?
Got room for one more?
I'm interested in joining if there is room.
@Kangutso

Hi Kang I thought you had disappeared

I kinda did, then came back and went into lurking mode. Have really only been active in one rp for a while now.

@Kangutsostill interested?

Yes, I am still interested.
I just might. Hey Rumi, long time no see.
Clan Oreborn

We got the beast... now what?

It wouldn't take long at all for many of the dwarves to find out about the tamed beast, so it wasn't surprising that Arngir would come to see it himself. Upon his asking who was responsible for it, he then asked where they were, to which the reply was, "After some long rest, you just missed them. They've already set out to find more of them." Well, that was a missed chance, but there would be more. However, they needed a place to hold the... 'greater boars' as some decided to call them for simplicity's sake. So, Arngir tasked some dwarves with building a strong, large pen for the beasts to reside in before leaving to take care of other tasks himself.

Religious Inquiry

Religion was a bit of a foreign concept to the dwarves, as such beliefs were not allowed for slaves. Echadon would explain this, and further go on to say that whenever their was a hint of religious belief in a dwarven slave, the entire group was executed. And as they had been slave for so long, whatever knowledge they had of their own beleifs was lost.

Once done, Echadon would then ask about the Ursar religion and beliefs, what his people worshiped and many other questions of that sort.

An omen...

Many of the elders were out, either at the city watching its construction or the settlement watching farmers work the fields. Arngir himself was helping to gather some of the food. Then out of nowhere, with no prior signs, a storm covered the continent as far as they could see and rain poured from the clouds. The suddenness of the storm and the ominous feeling in the air sent any dwarves that weren't indoors already running into the nearest shelter.

The rain and storm lasted for two hours, a deluge that threatened to flood but thankfully only caused the river to rise some and rush more. For those that had keen eyes, they could see the flashes of thunder in the clouds and notice as they all seemed to gather in a certain direction. Then, in the distance on the horizon, the bright flash of a great lightning bolt drove down upon the horizon. Then, just as quickly and suddenly the storm had come, it dispersed.

Preparing for Danger

There were many mutterings among the dwarves, and what few Ursar may have been visiting the settlement. And it did not take long at all for the elders to gather and discuss, much shorter time for them all to agree on such unnatural weather possibly being an omen of danger. Echadon, having been the best diplomat to send to the Ursar so far, and been a friend of them, would be sent to see the Ursar chief again to consult on the storm, if they knew anything about it, and what it could mean for their peoples.

In the meantime, the city's smithy would now be set to military work, and would be tasked with developing a weapon that had been used against them in the rebellion in the old world, the crossbow. All the Ironbeards of the clan, of which was only a handful, would be the ones whom were to be focused on the creation of it.

X) Other (Focus Construction)

While it was clear that, even for brownbeards like themselves, it would take some time for the clan to have a city built, it was known that a more ready supply of tools would be needed to maintain a steady pace. It was with that thought in mind that Arngir approached the elders during a meeting, unaware of their prior discussion about him.

"Elders, the construction of the city is going well, if a bit slow. However, I would suggest that we hasten the building of the large forge and smithy for the city on the north side of the river. We need to continue maintaining and making the tools our people need." The suggestion was easily accepted, and a message passed to the dwarves currently assigned to the construction of the city.

X) Other (Searching for Animals)

A group of dwarves walked a now worn path, arriving at the temporary settlement with a few worn bags full of ores from the mine. They were to drop it off at the hastily built smithy. They were tired, they always were, after carrying such loads from the mine. One had even injured himself by stepping wrong and rolling their ankle once.

Once the delivery was made they sat to rest at the edge of the buildings. Any conversation was mostly complaints and grumbling. That is until one of them spoke aloud, "I kinda hate to say this, but I wish we had brought some of the wagons and work-horses.." Some of them grumbled in response, while the rest stayed quiet. Then one of the younger dwarves stood, "Well then, lets see if we can find any creature to take their place."

The others looked at him tiredly.

"After we get some rest."

C) Improve Infrastructure

With several months having passed since the clan first arrived on the continent, it was decided by the elder dwarves that it was time to build more permanant homes. With that goal firmly in mind, a sizable group of dwarves was formed. These dwarves were to take up the task of heading to the mountain, to the area the river came out of, and building a city for them to take up residence in.

It was decided now where their first permanent homes would be, and many a dwarf looked forward to it.
