He has something that fits every season but he leans towards loose fitting jeans with a t-shirt and over shirt combination. Simple ankle boots or flat shoes helps him to keep moving fast and easy. He is no stranger to jewelry and will on occasion wear a totem necklace or various bracelets along with a leather strap tied around his wrist if he needs to pin his hair back.
Ahote rocks a various hairstyles from shoulder length to just below the ear, even a few buzz cuts on occasion but he generally prefers the longer hair. He’ll leave it down but if on a mission or training he will tend to tie it back so it sits half up, half down.
Leader * Strong-willed * Compassionate * Self-analytic * Brave * Dissented
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single
Personality:Avenger. Fighter. Compassionate. Ahote has always been a compassionate person, taking everything as a challenge to master, so he could teach others. This drive continues to push him to strive for better within himself and for others. He gets into his own head a lot and buries himself in his goals in order to block out what he truly thinks and feels about himself. He will always have a hand out, either to help people from their fall or to surpass him on the mountain.
He thinks everything through. Very rarely does Ahote run first before he decides which path to take. All actions must have a plan and several back up plans. It isn’t necessarily to protect himself, but to protect those around him. He values everyone’s opinion and tries his best to accommodate everyone but sometimes harder decisions have to be made and more often than not, he changes his decisions. The good of the many must come before the good of the few, but what if the few are stronger than the many?

Your Path: The True North houses many mutants. It is a land where they are free to roam and be true to themselves without fear, without other worldly influence. They know there are others but here, they are completely safe, respected and praised. Ahote knew this and was raised into this but he felt that he could do more, be more. So he began to travel, going to different countries and seeking out other mutants to bring about safety and strength within others to be able to defend themselves and live their lives free.
General History:Ahote grew in a land full of prosperity but they had their own creatures to deal with. Most everyone in Ahote’s tribe is a mutant, coming into their powers at a young age and trained in order to control the gift they possess. After Ahote’s ceremony, he was given the same name as his father: Thunderbird. His father’s ability allowed him to shapeshift into a hawk, whereas Ahote developed something far greater. During the ceremony, after several harsh trials that were emotionally and physically demanding, a hawk flew overhead, echoing its call repeatedly as Ahote cried out. He developed a superhuman condition, with enhanced strength, durability, speed, reflexes and tracking, with heightened senses. His foresight came a little later but is limited to only seeing the near future and the most recent past.
With his father having the shape shifting skill and his mother having a healing mutation, they were rather proud to have a near indestructible son. His training was taken on by the whole tribe and Ahote learned skills from each member in order to further his knowledge and his ability. With this nurturing life, he succeeded quickly but grew antsy. There was nothing for him to do in the True North, nothing he needed to protect or fight for. Other than fighting the wildlife, there wasn’t much of a challenge for him. He boarded a ship at eighteen, being released formally from the tribe and began to travel. In some cases, he bit off more than he could chew as the outside world was vastly different. In his tribe he had healers and storytellers that were not given a mutant ability but a more
Magykal take so he understood some of their ability but never thought he would encounter that everywhere else. Witches and Wizards everywhere he turned with far more power than any he had seen. It was within these couple years of travel that he heard of his mothers weakened state. He made quick work of traveling home, making it before his mother passed in the night. Ahote quickly learned that not everything can be fixed with strength, that some die beyond your control. This was something he still couldn’t quite accept though. He went on a small quest, isolating himself in nature and retreated within himself. It took him awhile to come back, to want to come back but when he did, he was given his mother’s totem to keep, along with his fathers. Although his father still lived, he was waiting for his son to take up the totem so he could move on.
Ahote was on the move again. He ended up in the Big Wild Land Over The Ocean and found many strange things there. The vast diversity of people helped to educate him in the different ways of
Magykal ability and he even met more mutants; however, where there was more freedom, there was more persecution. The country he was now in mainly governed themselves, so when things got of hand, the people took matters into their own hands. Mutants who came into their powers in unstable situations, became unstable themselves. There weren’t a lot of people who understood them and what they needed. Ahote had his moment to shine, to create a safe space for these people to come to and train in their ability. He became well known in the area and within nearby countries, which of course, came with its own risks but Ahote always rose to the challenge to protect what he had built.
He has been in this country for nearly seven years now, raising and protecting a makeshift family. Ahote is no stranger to death by now. He has killed and seen people close to him be killed, both in brutal situations and from unnatural
Sickenesses’.
Thoughts on the Sickenesse:Ahote didn’t see the Sickenesse in his home land but he has seen it most recently in his travels. He has seen it in its various stages and looked at it with a wonderment. He is curious what his mother’s mutant healing abilities would have on such a thing. It seems to be targeting
Magyk users specifically which is another interesting prospect. Are they specifically being targeted? Ahote is not completely sure but he knows they do not deserve it. Natural ability is sacred to Ahote and his homeland but the world is vastly different beyond The True North and people need to protect themselves and their families in any way they can.
