Cuyler watched as his cousins disappeared in clumps, thanks to the aid of Thalia. It seemed as things were coming to an end here, there was a certain air of finality to this place and Cuyler was confused by it. He only ever felt this way about getting ready to leave port or after a death. Sure there had been a death or two today but none that were of significance to Cuyler. It was a bizarre feeling.
He looked back at his mother, waiting for her answer. Cuyler didn’t miss the exchange between Klara and Runa before his mother answered him. Cuyler had no reason not to believe his mother and so he did; even though he was still worried about her pale complexion. He let out a little relieved breath and relaxed his stance slightly. It was still strange that Arya had not been here, had not shown up at all but nothing about this day had been normal. Strange seemed to be the thing as of late. The last of his cousins disappeared, including a woman he had never seen before. Cuyler remained though, despite Runa wanting all children of Asgard to go. Wasn’t he one?
”Can I go as well?” He looked to Klara and Runa for permission.
There was definitely a finality about this day. An ending to something Cuyler thought he never would have had to begin with. He needed a change, wanted it, had told Arya as much.

Amarantha

Location: Great Hall -- Wizards Tower
Skills:

The advancement of Myth’s labour was moving along rapidly. Lucky girl. Amarantha had been present to many mothers during their first birth and then had not gone as quickly. Sometimes the mother’s made it through those lengthy births, other times they were not so lucky.
Her sharp eyes tracked Fleur’s movements as she walked over to Antonije and laid hands on him. The man dropped a minute later without so much of a warning and with no rise and fall of his chest. There wasn’t much time to react for Fleur laid hands on him again, bringing breath back to his body. Amarantha frowed and stared at Fleur in confusion and disbelief as she turned back to the labouring woman. This was not the same woman Amarantha had stood against months prior. There was a strength and unbidden power to her now. Amarantha didn’t know what to make of any of it but that would come later. The Queen, it seemed, had finally shifted her attitude and agreed it was time they left, however she left in not the way Amarantha would have liked. All three of the royals disappeared without any of their guards and the commander grumbled unhappily. She pointed her sword at Titan and Lennox and then the door.
”Leave, take some of the other guard with you. And tell the children to head back as well. They’ve had enough excitement for one day.” she said. The men didn’t hesitate to take her command and hurried out of Wizard Tower with a dozen or so guards.
Amarantha looked back at the miracle happening on the floor of the Tower. She would remain while the birth took place, keeping an eye on Fleur and anything else that may or may not happening.
As it was more people started disappearing from the space around her but no one seemed too alarmed by it. In fact, it was like it was a daily occurrence here.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Outside Wizard Tower
Skills: Enhanced Human Condition -- Healing

Ahote was still coherent so he heard Grims speak and Rainbrook lash out at the man while he lay on the ground. Rainbrook clearly had an attachment to the ExtraOrdinary Wizard and Ahote felt bad for the boy but there was nothing Ahote could do. This land was foreign to him and he was a little under the weather.
Thia watched Rainbrook and Zekerra walk past them and towards the Tower. She looked at Ahote before she left him and followed the other two quickly into the Tower. She made a beeline straight for Cuyler and leaned heavily into him.
Ahote meanwhile was starting to get his groove back. It seemed his enhanced healing was back at it and removed the blood clot completely. Energized, Ahote stood back up and continued to make his way into the Tower, as was his original plan.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Operating Theater -- First Sub-Basement
Skills:

Antoinette stayed by Carolina’s side, stroking her hair soothingly even when Bruce Banner started arguing with Beast. Her eyes watched their movements and scanned Lance. He didn’t look like they had time for their argument but it still happened. Despite it all, Antoinette was curious to see how Lance would react with the direct blood transfusion from his father. She wasn’t into science as much as Lance or a genius like Guin but she could appreciate curiosity and the desire to learn more.
Dean called out to her in the middle of Antoinette’s daydreaming and she looked over at him, eyes glazed for a minute before they focused on the boy. The Irish native looked back at her friend and smiled a little bit.
”I think she will be, she’s still awake. Bethany threw her around quite brilliantly actually.” She spoke softly while looking at Carolina.
”How did you fair, Dean?” she asked looking back at him. ”Were you controlled or left to endure?”

The Floor’s messaged faded away and although the feeling of the Tower was changed, not as welcoming and friendly as it had seemed earlier, Cuyler took no notice. He was far more fixated on his old friend and the fact that she had just gone into labour. Not to mention she just personally introduced him to Bruce, her future husband. How many times had they ran around their village, playing the Myth of Four and defended Midgard before they settled around the fire for their nighttime meal and storytelling?
”Um, should you sit down or lay down? Can you move? Um….” Cuyler looked around, unsure of what he was doing when Bruce’s father came over. Cuyler relaxed, well as much as one could in the presence of a god. He stepped back, giving ample room and turned his attention to the sudden appearance of a new person.
He knew this one though, Fleur, the Witch Messiah. She started speaking of the Sickenesse being eradicated and Chthon being almost out the door as well. Witchcraft had gotten ridden of the Sickenesse. What was being destroyed was what was needed to dispel of the evil. Arya it turns out, had been right.
Arya.
Cuyler finally looked up and around the room. She still wasn’t here. Was she upstairs still? Surely not… She would know of all the destruction going on in her own home, surely. He stepped off the altar, completely ignoring the others in the room and the fact that there was about to be another stand-off and he made his way into the entrance hall where his mother and the others now were, along with a few newcomers.
”Mother, have you seen Arya?”

Amarantha

Location: Great Hall -- Wizards Tower

The stillness of the Tower settled over Amarantha like an old friend. She was no stranger to death. No, none of these people were but she had seen and done things far more than any of these people she protected had. The somber feeling of the Tower however was subsided for the breaking of the bride-to-be’s water. Amarantha twirled her sword a bit impatient but that was short-lived as well. Fleur, the Witch Mother, now Witch Messiah, appeared in front of them all, preaching that she had taken away the Sickenesse from the Castle and that Chthon remained inside someone here and that someone, was one of Amarantha’s recent ally’s. Wonderful.
Amarantha took a step forward and over, effectively blocking the royals behind her and the two guards who added further protection. Myrus commented on wanting to leave now along with Luna. Perhaps now they would listen to her the first time until waiting until it got worse. Fleur’s determination was something to not be outmatched though and Amarantha found herself believing her. Still, she had a job to perform.
”Titan, Lennox, take Luna and Myrus home now,” she said. Her eyes remained focused on the Witch Messiah though while she stood bold and proud in the Tower of the late ExtraOrdinary Wizard. How long would it be until she found out? Amamrantha didn’t estimate long and once Fleur knew, what would become of this place?
Amarantha twirled her sword around again, the epitome of calm but her energy was agitated and full of lethal rage.

Ahote was looking back at the Tower so he saw the shift with the purple haze, it dampened and he felt it within his very bones. That could not bode well. He looked back to Grimspound. His friend would be well enough and now that Ahote was better, he wanted to return to the Tower and see what had become of everyone else. He looked at the young man when he questioned the health of the young ExtraOrdinary Wizard.
”Chthon “Vanished” her, whatever that may mean to you.” That was all the information Ahote could provide to these people. With that, he started walking back to the entrance to the Tower. He had a shadow however and looked behind him to see the wolf following him at a slow prowl but her eyes were intent on the doors ahead of her. Clearly there was someone in there that she wanted to see.
Ahote wouldn’t make it to the door though. There was an intense pressure build up behind his eyes, followed with a bout of dizziness and then narrowing of his vision. Something was clearly wrong with the healing process he had undergone in a quick time frame. He slowly went to the ground and laid himself down, looking up at the dark sky. What next?
Thia stopped her purposeful stride towards the Tower and looked back at Ahote. She went over and sniffed him over before she sat down and looked back at Rowland and Zekerra. Clearly something was wrong.
Ezekiel Kel

Location:Dining Pavilion ---> Apollo Cabin -- Camp Half-Blood

With their assignment given and travel plans arranged, Ezekiel clapped his hands together and gathered his remaining food, tossing it into the brazier after Kristen did. On his way out he grabbed a orange and peeled it as he walked back to the cabin. He hummed to himself as he walked, the only time he could actually remain in key. Ezekiel had a horrid singing voice and only saved it for special occasions of needing to piss someone off. Sometimes you needed to get a person going in order for it to be a challenge. In order to push them to be better.
Ezekiel stepped into his cabin and started gathering some things into his already ready bag. He had a go-bag so to speak, for those last minute missions or it’s time to bail because camp is under attack...again. It payed to be prepared. Ezekiel was rearing and ready to go within ten minutes. They did have an hour to get themselves ready though so he decided a quick shower would be beneficial. A full stomach and sparkling skin was step one to a sunny disposition.

Antoinette looked back at Lance while Beast spoke. It bothered her that she would not be able to help him this time. Antoinette felt fine, she didn’t feel the head injury like her friend Carolina would be. No Antoinette felt normal but she knew better than to question Beast. So she would wait for this mysterious blood donor who was called to show.
Lance began to stir a bit as Carolina was brought into the Operating theater. Antoinette remained focused on Lance though and his few words. His eyes fluttered shut shortly after speaking though and she wasn’t sure he was awake still. No matter, she still slipped a delicate hand into his and watched his eyes and chest fall with his staggered breathing.
”Well, do you remember when Wonder Woman was controlled? Well really, they all have in those comics at least once haven’t they? That’s what has seemed to have happened in the mansion. Makes you wonder why such a powerful thing as the mind can be so easily controlled…” Antoinette started to ramble and trail off as she listed off various traits the mind will do in order to protect itself but how completely vulnerable it was.
Absentmindedly her fingers stroked Lance’s until there was a fairly large disturbance. Antoinette looked behind her and saw Bruce Banner, looking a little green, hurry in and spot Lance. She immediately released Lance and went to her other friend’s side. She looked at Carolina and smiled.
”Just let him help Lina.” Antoinette stroked her friend’s hair despite the blood. Despite it all, Antoinette had a smile on her face. She was altogether relieved that her friend was safe and was going to be okay.
Ezekiel Kel

Location:Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel heard, rather than saw Marygold stand up. He looked back at her and couldn’t quite decide if he was happy she was coming or annoyed. She smelled like strawberries. All. The. Time. He was already getting a headache. He blew out a breath and looked back at Chiron, waiting for a third to volunteer when Kristen spoke up. He grinned but it disappeared when she pointed out he was the first to volunteer and now in charge. It felt like deja-vu all over again and Ezekiel wasn’t sure how he felt about that after the first time.
”Well, stand up and collect your prize,” he said. It would be nice to have someone he had worked with and who knew how he worked as well. Traditionally it was only three who went on a quest, anymore than that then it would get overwhelming to work with so many and the monsters would have a hay-day with so many demi-gods in one place. Not to mention the fact that they were going to rescue demi-gods in the first place but maybe speed would be what they needed.
"Leda, you want in? You can't throw food though, unless we need the distraction."

Cuyler couldn’t help the brilliant smile that crossed his face. He had always thought he was the only one who had survived. Years and years of roaming alone led him to that conclusion. He looked her over, needing to confirm it was her. Her eyes were the same, facial expressions all in tact but her beauty and that belly was most definitely not her. How far they both had come.
”For years I thought I was the only one left and yet here you stand, destined to marry one of the four and carrying his child!” He shook his head in astonishment. He would have liked to hug her but the belly was a bigger obstruction than one would think.
Halley’s voice went up and Cuyler turned his head back to listen to her taunt him. All he did was offer help, which apparently coming from someone who was less than her was a laughable manner. Cuyler was not a child and did not appreciate being treated as such and did not want to stand by while others fought his battles. Perhaps he shared that in common with Ravyndra, who had been the one to tame the Hulk.
Both he and her had been helpless when their village was ransacked and destroyed beyond repair. They would not be helpless no more. Cuyler’s hands shook as he watched Halley smirk before walking away. He turned back to Myth, a confusing combination of joy and anger working its way through his body as questions filled his head on where she had been all these years when an unmissable puddle formed under her. It seemed her water had broke. All questions flew from his head as he simply stared. Childbirth was not something taught to the men of his land.

Amarantha

Location: Great Hall -- Wizards Tower

The royal family of the Castle was an infuriating one. Some people thought bravery was an admirable thing. One to cherish and be proud of having but it was stupidity in its purest form in Amarantha’s opinion. Still, she was also in a position to protect and be subservient. At least in public.
Lennox came back with clothes in tow but the big green man was now covered. Once he handed the clothing over to the man, he returned to his former position where Amarantha nodded at him and Titan who fell into step behind the royals, rather than in front of.
”Merely a precaution. In past experience, the initial wave of fighting is never the only,” she said. She took the sword back from Titan before she turned to take in the whole of the room again.
She met Luna’s eyes for the briefest of moments. She had a feeling her friend would rather leave this place but Luna was loyal and loved her family. She wouldn’t leave them if they didn’t leave. Luna moved around and approached Antonije who was holding a puppy who wasn’t supposed to be. Amused, Amarantha watched as Valda approached to offer assistance that Luna already volunteered her for. Amarantha had taken a step forward to express caution, the Sickenesse after all but Valada already cast her spell and Sylvi stood in front of them once again. The Queen seemed stable, better even than she had at the beginning of the day. Amarantha turned her head, curious as to what had happened to suddenly make the apparent Sickenesse disappear.
”If you drop dead on me, I will not be held responsible,” she said but was smiling. If one thing was going to go right today, let it be the sudden eradication of the Sickenesse.
Amarantha looked about the room, searching out the ExtraOrdinary Wizard who she for sure thought would come out of the shadows announcing she had done it, found the cure and dispatched the Darkeness but when her eyes reached the doors to see the Floor, shining its brilliantly boring words, her thoughts faltered. There was no time for morning though, for the bride-to-be’s water had just broken. Oddly, Amarantha’s mind shifted to Dawn and the unique circumstances she had been born into.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: Outside Wizard Tower

Talking was difficult for Ahote and at this point it was taking everything in him just to remain breathing.
”Fight….angry...thrown.” Was all he managed to speak to the pair who had come upon him. He would be able to tell them exactly what happened though after the girl healed him by the works of some healing clock. Ahote didn’t take the time to dwell as he felt the power of her and his finish healing him whole. He took a moment before he shifted and stood on his feet. His body popped and cracked in response but it was all with relief and he sighed gratefully.
”Thank-you,” he expressed with a brilliant smile. He looked at his wolf companion who had moved off a few feet and simply watched them before her ears twitched and she looked back up at the top of the tower where the Ahote sized hole was. Ahote looked back at his new companions.
”There was a fight within the tower. Someone named Chthon, lord of Chaos I believe they said, attacked and a few new and old companions of mine were trying to stop him.”
There was another loud crash and they all looked up to see another man being thrown from the building much in the same way Ahote had been. He saw that it was Grimspound and moved to get ready to catch his friend when his rate of descent slowed rapidly but not enough to spare him from some injury when he hit the ground. Ahote looked at him with a slight chuckle.
”You should have waited for me to return to tell you that flying, is not everything it is cracked up to be,” he joked. He walked over and looked down at Grimspound as he relayed his tale. ”I suggest you choose your words carefully from now on.”

Once Beast addressed Antoinette and Mira, she relaxed a bit and the rest of the room came into focus. Richard was here, as was Dean, and a woman but she wasn’t quite a woman was she? Due to Antoinette having been focused on Beast when she entered the operating theater, she heard his explanation as to who this woman was. The Danger Room was real? Well, as real as the woman made of wires could be. How fascinating this place truly was.
Antoinette was looking at the woman dreamily as she left when Beast addressed her specifically. He led her over to a bed without much protesting from her and sat down. He was gentle as he fixed her injuries and she smiled up at the gentle giant. He honestly was a big, blue teddy bear and full of such knowledge.
”I could feel it. The otherness of those who were affected. I’m not sure if it just wanted to stir up tensions or if it was searching for something,” Antoinette mused. She thought over her theory as Beast walked away, going to check on Richard and Dean. There seemed to be a lot of blood around them but there was a lot of blood all over this room.
Antoinette looked around, feeling she should go back upstairs to check on Carolina but Storm had her. Her eyes landed on a very still, very pale figure and her eyes widened. She got off her bed, ignoring Beast’s earlier words to rest and walked over to Lance. He was still breathing thankfully but it was sparse. She examined his head injury and the blood loss and frowned. Why wasn’t he getting a blood transfusion? All the equipment for it was around him. Vaguely, Antoinette remembered when Beast did the check up on her when she first arrived to the mansion and had her blood taken. She wasn’t a universal donor but she had a pretty common blood type that did work for most people, perhaps it would work for Lance.
”Beast, what is Lance’s blood type? Perhaps we can use me?” She moved her arm, exposing the soft side where all the veins were easily seen. She pulled her eyes from Lance and looked at Beast. ”You see, we have a movie date and I would very much like to go.”
Ezekiel Kel

Location:Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel grumbled to himself with Kristin’s comeback. One time. You trip over air one time and you never hear the end of it. Come to think of it, it probably wasn’t air at all. Damned Leda.
He moved to stand from his seat when Chiron addressed the whole pavilion. Silence fell over the students as he spoke and Ezekiel readjusted to look at the head table and listened to the man speak. A school full of monsters. Four demi-gods in one place. That was rare. Hmm. Ezekiel leaned back and looked at Bryan with the mention of volunteers. He wouldn’t be surprised if he jumped at the occasion but he looked back at Kristin and waited.
”Well go on Athena’s chosen, up you go,” he pushed her with a smirk.
Ezekiel looked from Kristin’s blonde hair to the three empty tables. They hadn’t had any of the big three in a long while. He supposed that was a good thing for the rest of them. They had a chance finally be seen, to prove themselves just as good. Ezekiel shifted, feeling the sun hit his back and fill him. Before he knew it, he was standing, volunteering himself for an adventure, rather than being told.

Cuyler glared back at his sort of cousin. Maybe he was sticking his nose where is didn’t belong, he had been doing that a lot lately but Cuyler felt like he could do something here. He was about to show her exactly what he could do when a swarm of flying puppies entered the room and went straight to the Hulk who seemed placated enough to shrink down to his regular human form.
Hands shaking, Cuyler worked to calm himself down when Richard came over and chided Halley along with Cuyler. That seemed to do the trick though and snap Cuyler out of his own self-righteous mind. He looked at Halley, knowing he should apologize but he turned away from her and the naked man to look at the altar and who summoned the dogs. Singing, he had heard singing before the dogs showed up and it was feminine. He didn’t know any of the four to sing so that only left a couple of people. Cuylers’ eyes finally rested on the bride and his eyes widened.
”Ravyndra? Is that you?” He took a step towards Myth, knowing her by the former name from days of past when they had grown up together in a sense.

Luckily, Myrus, the Queen nor Amarantha had to take any action for as ready as Amarantha was to defend, the situation was diffused downstairs. The puppies were an adorable sight, even Amarantha’s heart stirred as she saw the cute things flutter around the green monsters' head until he started to shrink to his former self. Slowly, Amarantha’s eyes dropped to inspect the man, getting a nice view before he moved and tried to block himself.
”At least this wasn’t a complete bust then,” she said to no one in particular before handing Titan her sword.
”Prince Myrus, how are you fairing? I do suggest returning to the Castle,” she said looking at Luna then Valda before looking back at Myrus.
There was still something in this tower. The source of that dark energy that caused so many of the special guests to disappear. The threat was still strong but the immediate threat had been dealt with. It was time to get to safety. The main priority still, was the royals safety. It seemed the guests in this room were more than capable of defending themselves so she no longer had concern for them. Amarantha turned around to address the royal family as a whole.
Lennox sheathed his sword and hurried off to find clothes for the naked man at the Prince’s request. Hoping that his task would be easy was short lived and Lennox did not return quickly with clothes for the naked man.

Ahote Proudstar

Ahote saw the dog, despite the limited lighting with the sun having gone completely down. As it came closer though he realized it was a wolf and wondered if this was going to be the end for him now. The wolf however, simply sat down beside him and monitored the night around them, seeming to be guarding Ahote. He relaxed and let out a noise of pain. He blinked several times, watching the stars and tried to focus on his breathing rather than the numbing pain he could feel over his entire body. On occasion he would get shocks through his body that caused him to grit his teeth or let out another sound of pain and discomfort.
The wolf shifted beside him, growling and lowered its ears to an incoming threat. Ahote simply shut his eyes, not wanting to see who or what was coming for him now. He only prayed that his friends were faring better than he was.
Thia scented the air at the incoming intruders and relaxed as she smelt something familiar. It was a scent that reminded her of Cuyler and Ayra so she ceased her growling but didn’t move away from the man she was guarding. There were other scents with this familiar one and she was unsure of them.
Ahote opened his eyes again when the wolf quit growling, apparently realizing it was no threat. The few stars blotted out as someone, a boy by the shape of him, leaned over and looked down at Ahote. He merely blinked at the boy, not willing to try speaking in this state.
