Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna’s eyes sparkled from the teenager’s sharp tongued response to Luna’s initial words. She took a couple steps towards the young buck and smiled at her.
”I’m afraid you wouldn’t be able to afford me,” she replied. However, the wit and charm Luna would be able to supply the child with would have to wait. She turned and looked back at Colossus. Prison tended to complicate things but it wasn’t a complete deterrent. Of course, there was the tiny problem of the hundreds of precincts within Washington D.C.
”And let me guess, this Spark Plug is not here at the moment either?” Luna had two options. Sit and wait for the interim leader to show or go out and do a little recon.
”Where was Veil supposed to be when she got arrested?”

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Homeless Shelter - Mutant Friendly -- Washington D.C. ---> From the Streets of D.C. to the Underground
Skills: Driving

The car quickly became full with kids and Cayden continued to keep up the drumming on the steering wheel to keep himself calm. He kept his eyes peeled for any of the Purifiers and if they decided to come check on the vehicles. Just as the last kid climbed into the back there was yelling and Spark Plug yelled at Cayden to get the car going and get out of there. He did not need to be told twice. He fired up the SUV and paid no mind to saving fuel as he pinned it and drove around the other Purifier car and headed down the street. From here he had a rough idea on how far the Underground was. If he could just make it within a couple of blocks of there, they would be golden.
First, they had to make it there alive though. Cayden focused on the road ahead, moving around cars too quickly to possibly be safe but fortune was smiling down on him as he got around vehicles and went through a couple of red lights in order to gain some distance if there were any pursuers. It was like a scene straight out of Fast and the Furious and thank goodness Cayden had witnesses because he didn’t think anyone would believe him with how many times he successfully drifted around corners or flew over bumps and past red lights.
A block away from the Underground, Cayden parked in an alley and started ushering kids out of the vehicle and towards their safe haven. They made it back to the Underground without a hitch and Cayden relaxed once they were all inside. He hoped Spark Plug and Havok would have as much luck as he and the kids seemed to.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette shook her head at October, a smile still on her lips though. October was a bit of the eccentric one out of the bunch when it came to her fascination with death. And that was saying something. Carolina grabbed Antoinette’s hand, along with October’s and started leading them onto the dance floor. Antoinette gasped excitedly her eyes flashing and she skipped along happily. This would be much more enjoyable now!
Carolina still seemed interested in the royals though and whatever interested her, tended to interest Antoinette. They were best friends after all and best friends helped each other out. An idea popped into Antoinette’s head and she promptly stopped in the middle of the dance floor and other dancers, pulling Carolina back as well.
”We need something spectacular to get their attention. Who do you want to talk to most Lina? I can cast an illusion for them to see and that’ll make a real statement don’t you think?” Antoinette’s purple eye was already glowing a bit brighter at the wonderful idea of it. Where could she possible transfer the royals too with her illusion?

The arrow sailed through the air, arching perfectly and nailed one of the cyclopes in the eye. Ezekiel couldn’t help the giant grin or sparkle in his eye from that. He looked at Mary as the cyclops turned to dust.
”By all means, run on ahead strawberry. I’m better with long distance and I can cover all of you that way. There should be no more monsters than these and the kids are coming right for us so at the very least we don’t have to hunt after them. Gather as many as each of you can,” Ezekiel said.
Kristen then started giving her own orders and shifted into action. Typical. He gave her a bit of a glare but she was already off running and asking for cover.
”Play to their weaknesses. Limited mobility and vision,” he reminded them before he took aim at another cyclops.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: Training Point ---> Great Hall -- Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler grinned at Arnora’s response but then his face switched to shock as he was cleaned and clothed in fine dress, traditional to Asgard. Cuyler looked down at his clothes and smiled before he looked up at the three woman.
”Wicked,” he said simply. He would never get over the raw power of Asgard. He thanked Runa for the helping hand before she departed and then his mother made note that she would more or less be escorting them. Cuyler chuckled and nodded.
”I guess so. Maybe we can start combining some of our training sessions Arnora, or do some extra training on the side. What do you think?” He asked as they walked through Asgard to the Great hall.
With the limited time that they had they definitely made the place look stunning and fit for a wedding. It was simple, yet perfect. He smiled, looking around as he moved to take a seat. Everyone was spread out but Cuyler departed from Arnora’s side to take a seat on the bride side of things. Ravyndra, or Myth as she was more well known as, had been Cuyler’s friend for a rather long time and since she had no biological family, he thought showing his support this way would be the best he could do.

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Barracks
Skills:

Her daughter. Holy time travel Batman, what else would be next. Amarantha ran fingers through her hair as Apollodora explained who she was, why she was here and finally, what she needed. Of course. People always needed something but the nice thing about this charmer was, she was offering up something as well. Knowledge on the ExtraOrdinary Wizard. Who apparently, was not dead, simply trapped. What else was going to happen in Amarantha’s life time? Dwarves singing with Princesses? A ghastly revolution throwing the monarchy aside?
”Since I have recently discovered time traveling is a thing, I am inclined to believe you. The former ExtraOrdinary Wizard, your mother. Can we bring her back here in a timely fashion? I’m on a bit of a time crunch unfortunately.”
A foul smell reached Amarantha's nose and her stomach tightened. The assassin could handle many things. Spoiled milk, disembowelment, festering wounds but a dirty diaper? That was were the line was drawn. She gave Apollodora a look of annoyance before she turned and looked at Mona.
"Could you handle that? I'm in a meeting."

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Palace -- Dining Hall
Skills:

It was good news that the Queen was on board with her brother’s plans. Ahote was looking forward to the journey and adventure this would bring them all. Prince Myrus shifted beside him and placed a ring on the table. It was a beautiful thing but Ahote didn’t touch it. He simply looked and listened to Myrus’s tale. He knew of the former past Myrus had and was glad his former plan never came to pass. The idea of the ring though, that could possibly be something.
Princess Luna made a suggestion on transcriptions. Ahote couldn’t see anything from this angle but perhaps there was something on the inside. The idea of using her as bait though, turned his very full stomach. There had to be a different way. Fleur would come and attack no matter what. Maybe the best option was just to prepare and wait for her to show. Plan a trick for then.
”To protect you all? How would you suggest doing that Myrus? Breaking it apart perhaps? That might ruin whatever Magyk is inside it though. Perhaps your ExtraOrdinary Wizard may know of something. Or an Alchemist?”

She eyed Colossus’s hand a moment before she extended her own to briefly shake his. She didn’t want her hand trapped in his steel one for very long. Luna smirked at Negasonic with her very typical teenager response.
”Very nice. As for needing to see Veil, I’ve spoken to Xavier and he’s given me the basics of what is going on here. I’ve come to extend my services,” she explained simply. She looked around where they were standing and her nose twitched with the smell. She would love to sink some money into this place, that would probably boost moral but she was told that wasn't an ideal idea. Unfortunate, so Luna would have to make due. She looked back at Colossus.
”I would find Veil, get her here quickly. I have some information on Sebastian Shaw. Seems he has dipped his hands into the cookie jar and is sharing with the less fortunate. Although I wouldn’t call his type of sharing a kindness,” she said and crossed her arms.

”You, know I don’t really believe in the proverbial ‘heaven/hell’. More of a world, circle view you know? We live, we die, we restart,” Cayden said in response to Havok’s comment. It was completely unnecessary and not needed in this situation but that was generally how Cayden rolled and all was spoken with that unwavering smile on his face.
He smiled at Callie, being introduced to both people he was here to help assist. He settled into the plan she dished out and relaxed, feeling better with a plan. ”I like it, straight-forward, simple, easy to remember,” he grinned at his movie quote before he waited for a couple kids and went about escorting them back down the backside of the building to one of the hopefully empty, Purifier cars.
They made it to the cars without a hitch but that’s where the luck seemingly ran out for the moment. Cayden opened up the back door and helped the couple of kids he had inside before he crawled into the front to turn the car over. The keys were still in the ignition. Ha! Idiots. He turned the keys but the car didn’t start. Out of gas. Cayden cursed and backed out of the front seat. Who left Purifier headquarters without filling up first? What if there was a chase scene? The kids he had put into the back were now crying. He looked to the front of the building, worrying now.
”Hey hey, minor problem. This is nothing,” he said, attempting to reassure them. He then had a bit of a light bulb moment. ”Who likes Doritos?” He pulled his backpack around and pulled out the half-full bag of Doritos, offering it to the kids. It wasn’t a permanent fix, but it was a distraction.
Now there was the problem of finding fuel and getting fuel into the car. He moved to the back of the vehicle and found a small gas can but as luck was not seemingly on their side, it was empty. Closing the back, Cayden was getting a bit worried now as he looked around. Any other vehicle did not look ideal for driving. Still, there was the possibility of fuel being in those less than ideal cars. Grabbing the can from the back again, Cayden hopped over to a car and found some fuel. It wasn’t much but it would get the car turned on and them a couple blocks away at least. Cayden was able to get the gas out of the car with some superior sucking abilities. Sorry boys, this man was all about the ladies. He dashed back and filled the car the kids were still in. Cayden kept an eye on the Purifiers and any other kids that came from the back.

She pouted a little when Carolina said they would dance soon, not now. She would just have to wait for her friends to come and join her. Perhaps she would have a bite to eat as well. Antoinette turned attention back to the ballroom and gazed around at everything that shone and sparkled. She remained glued in the middle of October and Carolina, not knowing what her friends had just been speaking about or why there was a faint redness to Carolina’s cheeks still.
There were many people here tonight. Many familiar faces even though Antoinette mostly just saw them on the T.V. She followed the rooms switch of attention as the King and Queen finally walked in. They were quite the regal pair and they always commanded a room. She took in their every graceful step and sighed, wishing her parents were here to see this as well but after going to school and opening the art studio with Carolina, she had moved out of her parents. Although she did still see them frequently.
”Do you think they know everyone here?” Everyone knew who they were and Antoinette found that strange suddenly. Everyone in the world knew who they were but they probably didn’t know everyone else. How lonely to be known but not truly known.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Granite Falls, North Carolina, Outside of Crystal River School For Troubled Youth, Parking Lot

Ezekiel reached back into his chariot and grabbed his bow and quiver of arrows. He slid the strap over his head and pulled out an arrow, notching it so it was ready and looked around at everyone else and then back to the parking lot.
”Hopefully Leda can give us a bit better intel and then we can move on ahead. If the protector is busy protecting their charges, I doubt they will come see us,” he said to Kristen. He watched the commotion going on in the parking lot. A couple of cyclops seemingly running through a brick wall and then another through a shed. A car pulled into the parking lot and a pair of people walked out, oblivious to the action around them. Well, at least they were cyclops that they would be fighting. Those were relatively easy in the realm of things but there could be other creatures. Ezekiel watched multiple targets run towards the parking lot with a protector in front. Good, good, this would be good.
Ezekiel took a step back and lifted his bow, aiming for one of the cyclops. Once he came closer, Ezekiel would be able to take fire and hope his arrow flew true.
”Be ready,” he spoke to the others. Thank goodness the Pegasus were relatively calm animals and used to such commotion.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler took a break from sparring with his mother when Arnora showed up. He returned her smile and nodded, putting his sword away.
”Ah, preparations for the wedding are finally finished? I should probably go get cleaned up before going.” Myth would have his head if he showed up to her wedding as this sweaty mess. Of course, she didn’t know about the surprise wedding. Cuyler thought it was a great idea after their original one became ruined and with the stress of her babe needing immediate attention it would be good to have something joyous.
Cuyler had seen the child a couple of times now, going to check on Myth mostly but he didn’t ever linger long. It was a trying time and Cuyler didn’t want to invade more than strictly necessary. Still, the child was in good hands here and Cuyler knew there would be no problems with the babe soon enough.
He grabbed a towel and wiped his sweaty brow before he tossed it at Arnora. ”How’s training going for you?” He walked over to her but looked back at his mother. ”Am I still escorting you to the wedding?”

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Barracks
Skills:

The door opened and Amarantha scanned the woman who walked through the door. Mona had seemingly proved her worth in this last week but still, Amarantha kept her at arms length. She however did lean back on her hands and smirked at her with her unflattering comment.
”I can still cut your hands off whenever I want,” she warned her. Amarantha shifted again, watching the little thing crawl around. It was rather uncharacteristic of her to been seen in this way but there was a softer side to Amarantha. Granted it was buried deep down but it was there.
A voice behind Amarantha startled her and she jumped to her feet, withdrawing one of her hidden daggers and stood in front of the babe on the floor and Mona. Amarantha glared at the intruder who had expertently sneaked up on the commander. That bothered Amarantha greatly. Her eyes scanned the woman, noting the straight black hair and the unmistakable colour of Lapis Lazuli crushed in a vial around her neck. Seems the trail was being left by this woman. It would have been preferred if they found her first rather than the other way around but still, she was here now. Amarantha flipped her blade around before sliding it back into place on her leg and crossed her arms, not moving to take the woman’s hand.
”Rincewind. Related to the former Arya Rincewind I presume?” What would bring this person out of hiding now that Arya was gone? The resemblance was uncanny.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Palace -- Dining Hall
Skills:

Ahote listened to the royals each speak in turn while he ate. He leaned back in his chair after completing his meal and looked at Myrus. He had excellent ideas but would they work?
”We also have the slight advantage of me being able to track some. If she leaves a trace of some kind that is,” Ahote offered the group. He had no doubt that this witch would be difficult to trick as Princess Luna suggested but they didn’t have many options. They would have to try. He looked at Myrus with a slight smile. He had been learning little bits here and there about his power and what it could do but for the most part, they were trying to work on control. The advancements would come later. But if he was going to practice on anyone else and get better, fighting someone with another powerful ability would be the way to do it and the Queen was one of those people. Of course, Ahote had the added benefit of healing quickly so if he took a direct blow from Myrus is didn’t much matter to him.
”I say we give it a shot. Make some plans over the next couple of days and start executing them. We can’t determine if something will or will not work if we don’t try it first and we do have the advantage of trying it in a controlled situation.”

Luna Braddock

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna flipped down the kickstand on the bike she had rented as soon as stepped foot on American soil. No, it wasn’t as precious has the baby she had back home but she, as well as her father and Xavier decided that a bike as flashy as that should probably remain home. Still, Luna needed something to get around on and this would suffice. She took her helmet off, ran hands through her helmet hair to given the shortened, blonde hair some sort of shape. One thing that needed to be perfected while overseas was the ability to change one's appearance. Luna didn’t have that ability but how much more useful would it be within this line of work to have a completely different appearance whenever you wanted it? She got off the bike, setting her helmet down on the seat and walked out of the trees. The Underground in Washington D.C. wasn’t much to look at but that was kind of the point wasn’t it? Hiding in plain sight or in the most rundown, degraded place ever. Still, Luna would have preferred staying at a hotel of some kind. She sighed, staring at the grimy building with tattered sheets and walked towards the building. Bring on the “who are you!?”, “come no further!” or just plain, start firing no questions asked that the runaways tended to have.
She took the secret way in, Xavier having briefed her a bit before hand. She walked into the darkened building and gave it a once over before she focused on the people within.
”You’re interior decorating has done a wonderful job. Mind if I get the number off of you?” Her British accent rang true as she looked at the big silver man and smaller but no less agressive girl beside him. Colossus and Negasonic she determined from the Professor’s description.
”Where’s Veil?” Luna was a very much, straight to the point person. Sure she enjoyed flair, hence the bike and leathers she was currently in that hugged every well toned curve but, she was here for a purpose and she enjoyed working.

Cayden Proudstar

Location: Homeless Shelter - Mutant Friendly -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden found a dime on the sidewalk and was currently flipping it into the air and catching it. Supposedly, if you found a dime on the ground it meant that a loved one who had passed was letting you know that they were watching. That whatever path you were on, was the right one and to continue on. Cayden Proudstar looked up, seeing several people getting out of a car and heading into the back entrance of the homeless shelter. Thank goodness the location the big silver guy had told him was true and he hadn’t sent him to some Purifier strong hold. Right path indeed. He watched them kick down the door and smirked. Kickass entrances, check. Yup, definitely the right place. He looked left and right before dashing across the street to follow these fellows inside.
So far it was pretty calm but having a stranger show up behind them would determine if anything, exciting happened. A blonde girl was holding open the door, talking to the people inside. She was talking about needing a bigger car.
”Are we talking a luxury model? Or a mini van?” Cayden grinned at the new faces. ”Cayden Proudstar at your service.” He flourished his hand and bowed at the waist. ”Or Moonwalker if you prefer. The big silver guy said you people tend to stick to the codenames. Anywho, a car. I had a friend who used to boost vehicles. Never attempted myself but I watched him do it a few times.”

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette stood in the middle of the dance floor without a care in the world. She absolutely adored these parties. The live bands, the music, the food, the artwork people wore on their bodies in the form of clothing. Everything about these nights made Antoinette’s unique eyes sparkle. Dancing wasn’t one of Antoinette’s talents but she did have the innate ability of not caring about how other people perceived her so dance she did.
She was growing rather thirsty though and she needed to take these heels off if she was going to continue dancing tonight. She swayed off the dance floor, running fingers through her tangled hair as she smiled at the people she passed. Some she knew, others she hadn’t a clue but none of that really mattered to her. She had no reason to feel distressed or fear these people. Antoinette had herself a glass of water before she took a flute of champagne and walked around the edge of the crowd, looking for her best friend and best friend-in-law. She looked for Carolina's familiar hair and blue dress she wore. Antoinette went with a brilliant yellow colour. It contrasted against her blue and purple eyes but it only made her stand out all the more. Finally, Carolina and October came into view. Antoinette skipped up to them and wrapped one arm around each, kissing either cheek before she settled into a happy smile.
”You two aren’t going to stand here all night are you? You must come dance!”
