Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Lake -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel made a quick stop in his cabin as he made his way to the lake. He dumped his stuff before he grabbed a bag with his personal notebooks in it and switched into a pair of swim shorts before he headed over to the lake. There were a few kids around doing their own thing but what was interesting was seeing Rosie at the lake. Of course the Oracle left her little cave hideaway but it was rare that Ezekiel ever saw her. She seemed rather engrossed in what she was doing which gave him all the incentive he needed to try and scare her.
He decided to go with tired and true method of simply sneaking up behind and shaking her shoulders.
”Boo!” He looked around her, spying at what she was doing and laughed a bit. He flipped a page in her notebook before checking to see what she was listening to. ”Craved a little sun today did you?”
There was no real reason why Ezekiel was an ass. He just was. It was fun and it was easy. People didn’t go out of their way to talk to you when you were a jerk. They didn’t try to be friends with you. It was lovely to be able to be left alone and not bothered at all.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Wow were these people entertaining. It was like an reality TV show down here. Luna was waiting to be voted off the island at any moment, too bad she had a really juicy bargaining chip. She had a feeling she would have a permanent smirk on her face with these people as she listened to their various believes on trust.
”The beautiful thing is you don’t need trust to listen to what someone has to say. You simply need ears,” she said and looked at Havok, a perfectly innocent smile on her face now. ”And a brain to interpret.” She hadn’t given these people a single reason not to trust her but she didn’t care anyway. She had a message to deliver and a desire to help them, whether they believed her or not.
”Xavier has information from a reliable source, don’t bother asking I already tried to weasel it out of him, that perfect Sebastian Shaw is behind the Hound Program. The Hound program, if you haven’t heard of it, takes mutants, mostly those who won’t be missed,” Luna paused and looked pointedly around the room they were in before looking back at Veil. ”And injects them with some sort of drug or chemical that turns them into a near unstoppable weapon.”
When Luna had first heard this information from Xavier she was overcome with a severe amount of anger and then disappointment. Shaw hadn’t always been like this, honestly every villain didn’t start out bad. They had hopes, dreams… family. But people, the world could easily take something that mattered away from you and that’s it. You either switch everything off or you fight like hell so the world doesn’t win.
”Even though I demanded to wait for Veil, this is information that you may chose to do whatever you wish with. Call Xavier and double check the facts if you wish, take to the streets and ask questions, I don’t care. The point is, we’re running out of time. I have connections I am willing to use but there’s that pesky problem of trust,” Luna said and looked at them all.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden ate his meal while he happily watched the kids devour their’s. They were talking happily with each other, feeling safe and relaxed despite the poor accommodations. In Cayden’s eyes, as long as there was a roof over his head, this was the good life. He looked over at Negasonic when she made a connection between his name and Michael Jackson. He grinned and shook his head.
”Don’t get me wrong, the man has talent. I can’t dance or sing like him though. No, one of my abilities is to dreamwalk and most people dream at night right? So Moon and then walker. Although maybe one day I’ll be like Armstrong and walk the moon, then follow up with moonwalking,” Cayden laughed. It really wasn’t funny, it was awful even but Cayden had this act of just being himself, regardless of the implications or what others would say about him. He just was.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Antoinette watched Princess Wanda run off after the criminals. She worried her bottom lip and looked between where Wanda ran off to and the crowd that formed around the Queen. She wasn’t sure where she should go or what she should even do. Her powers weren’t exactly for combat and Antoinette had never really fought in her life. She ultimately decided to respect the Princess’s wishes and hurried over to the Queen’s side.
She came up behind Carolina and latched onto her friends arm, seeing the tail end of October healing the Queen. Antoinette leaned with Carolina as she kissed October’s cheek and Antoinette got a good look at the Queen and her condition.
”I don’t think those people are going to try anything else tonight Carolina,” Antoinette said to her friend. There was chaos everywhere but it seemed to be orderly. People were going after the assailants or they were standing around the members of the royal family, playing lookout and guard. No one else was going to be able to hurt the royal family tonight.
”That being said, perhaps it would be good to get the Queen out of here to a more relaxed, less stimulating environment.” Antoinette continued to hang onto Carolina, feeling uneasy and on edge in this highly chaotic situation. Her blue eye started to glow brightly as her enhanced intuition began to search out for any other signs of conflict arising.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Palace Lounge -- Asgard
Skills:

Life on Asgard had become exceptional to Cuyler. He thrived here, learning more about his ability from his mother and a more intimate understanding of the history. His family history. With his growing ability there came a growing confidence within himself and Cuyler had grown into quite the fighter. He protected and served Asgard with his life and although most missions tended to be more training, Cuyler handled everything seriously when it came down to it. He liked going on missions and helping Lady Sif and the Warriors Three. It was a whole other world fighting and learning alongside them.
Today however was a reprieve from all that learning and training. Cuyler stood with his back to the dart board, showing off a bit and turned around at the last second and threw his last dart, aiming for the bullseye. He came up short however and cursed himself. This game of darts was a bit advanced though, for there were obstacles in the way and one could also use their power to aid them in achieving their ends. It was a far more entertaining game this way.
Halley walked into the room, interrupting Cuyler and Arnora’s fun. Cuyler and Halley had become, tolerant of each other but that was about it. Cuyler felt like she still didn’t trust him or his ability. Whatever the problem was, it seemed she would have to put her feelings aside for she needed their help. Cuyler would have to thank his mother for the mission. He looked at the projected image, having seen the thing before. At the very least it looked familiar. Cuyler’s eyes shone when Halley announced that Loki had been the one to take the object. Excellent. Ever since Loki had made an appearance at Myth and Bruce’s wedding, he had wanted to get his hands on the trickster. Sure he had been a sort of role model and teacher for his mother but he was also a problem and disrupted the balance. Not to mention making his mother uneasy. The only problem Cuyler had with this mission was the idea of returning to Midgard. Much had changed and Cuyler had pretty much moved past Arya, immersing himself in his studies but he still wasn’t seeing anyone else.
The hologram faded and Cuyler met Halley’s eyes. ”Do you have an idea where on Midgard he could be?”

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Courtyard
Skills:

Children’s laughter and screaming filled the Palace courtyard. Bonfire night was one of those nights that everyone was allowed beyond the Palace walls and could mingle freely with the royals. Which meant a bigger headache for the commander of the Palace Guard. Amarantha stalked around the fire, watching as dolls were thrown in and then people moved off to drink their cider. Crime had spiked within the Castle and unrest was growing outside the Castle walls with two of the Castle’s enemies doing whatever they could to cause headaches. Of course most of the information was privileged and with Fleur still not showing her face, the unrest there had died down some. However, Amarantha made sure to still have eyes and ears open for any movement on that front.
Her eyes scanned the perimeter, watching for her men and woman’s positions before she went back to her own. Myrus found an old companion and so Amarantha attached herself to Antonije. Her green cloak billowed around her as she moved to stand beside the white haired man. When he reappeared Amarantha nearly cried with delight. She still had no idea what they would be fighting but she knew who and so she knew what she would need from him.
”How is the progress going on my latest request?” She wanted Fleur disorientated when it finally came to the fight they were all expecting and so she required some sort of sensory deprivation tool in order to achieve these means.

Titan was guarding Princess Luna still, Lennox was several paces behind Prince Myrus in the Palace Courtyard and Phoenix and Alcott are guarding Queen Valda, wherever she is.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: His room -- The Palace
Skills:

For months Ahote had been combing through papers on his down time from tutoring the Prince. Any information on the ring or witch defense was everything that he was looking for. Although recently he had started looking up fire and the control of that. There was a baby, Dawn was her name. She had developed a nasty habit of setting things on fire and with his advanced ability, Amarantha seemed to think that problem was right up his alley as well. Thing was, Ahote never dealt with baby’s who had a power before. His people developed their power when they were much older and were trained for years before that in order to handle their power. Trying to tell a baby no you can’t burn that, was like telling glue to not dry. It wasn’t exactly a science. Mostly Ahote just ran around putting things on fire out and keeping the little thing as calm as possible.
For the moment, Ahote was getting some more information on old ruins and symbols in his head while he got ready for the bonfire. Everyone was excited for this night. Including Myrus. Ahote had helped build up the various bonfires as well and was eager to get his hands on some hot cider and converse with people throughout the Castle. He had made various friends but stuck mostly with the royal family and Palace Guard. He had created a sort of family here and with the Prince’s progress in his emotion and now power, everyone seemed to be a little more accepting of the True North native. Ahote finally decided to call it a night with research and put his papers away before he dressed in warmer clothing and headed out of his room.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

A smirk remained on Luna’s face while she continued this little stare down with Havok. He was rather interesting, feeling the need to protect everyone here, even though they could all handle themselves quite well. The more she stared, the more Luna wanted to ‘glimpse’ (hence the name) into his mind to see what exactly made him tick. However, that wouldn’t help her cause. Spark Plug re-explained who her father was, as if saying once again who he was would help her case with Havok. No, the pair stared at each other in silence until Veil finally showed up. Luna finally looked away, watching Veil walk across the floor with her companion. They had definitely seen better days, but they had both gotten away and came bearing food. Veil finally came over and introduced herself but Luna had gone back to staring at Havok, weighing her options.
Veil’s companion wandered off and made a phone call. She returned a short while later informing the group that she had just spoken to Luna’s aunt. She cocked her head at Sapphire, curious as to how the girl knew her aunt but that question would have to come later. Now Luna had to explain why she was here. Luna pushed herself to her feet, since Veil had taken her hand back but Luna wouldn’t have taken the offered hand to begin with.
”I’ve been told several times that whatever I have to say to you can be said in front of everyone. Does that hold true or would you rather speak in private?”

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden grinned at Callie and went to sit down beside her. She agreed with him and was complimenting him on a job well done. So far, his first day in D.C. was shaping up well.
”Is he always like this?” Cayden spoke to Callie in hushed tones in regards to Havok. Poor guy needed to wear less tight pants or something.
Veil and Sapphire walked in a few minutes later bearing food. His mouth started to water from all the smells. However, there was no red bag of Doritos. Oh well. He would have to snatch a bag on his own. Cayden got up to look over some of the food and steal a burger when Callie introduced him to Veil. He turned and looked at the actual boss lady and smiled warmly.
”Pleasure,” he said and shook her hand happily. He liked it here and seriously hoped he could be of more help in the future to this group of people. The Underground did some serious good work and he just wanted to give a better life to mutants. Everyone deserved that. Cayden picked out a burger and a small thing of fries for himself before he gathered up an unopened, full bag.
”I’ll go give this to the kiddos. Doritos are delicious but hardly filling,” he said and wandered off. As much as he wanted to know what the mysterious daughter of Captain Britain had to say, he wasn’t fully sure he would be allowed to hear privileged information as that. He did just show up today after all.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Camp Half-Blood

Kiss kiss? What in Hades did that mean? Speaking of… The ground started to shake after Chiron rolled himself on over. Ezekiel didn’t even get to explain some things because Kristen started in already. He rolled his eyes and sat down on the back of his chariot even while the ground started to rumble. Skeletons appeared and handed the children who had ridden with him some gifts from Hades and a symbol appeared, claiming them both. Once again, Ezekiel was about to answer the deadly girls question but Kristen shoved her obnoxious nose in it. Gods, why was he put in charge? He never really was in charge to begin with but if something went wrong, oh we all know where the fingers would be pointing.
Chiron then said he would be touring the kids around and Ezekiel sighed. At least one good thing was coming of not being in charge now. He stood up, grabbing his bow and other gear and snuck away from the two children who had just been claimed.
”Oh I think a swim is in order,” Ezekiel said. Few things calmed the son of Apollo but water seemed to always be one. Odd, considering who his father was but poetry and music was a thing he kept to himself and no one, other than his cabin, knew of his love with poetry.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace: New York City, New York.
Skills:

Antoinette smiled at Princess Wanda and beamed as she saw her friends had followed on the little adventure too. There was a sudden disturbance in the room that caused everyone to pause in their conversations and turn around. Antoinette got no indication that something was amiss so when she saw what everyone was looking at and that the Queen had fallen, Antoinette was shocked. Everything seemed to zero in on the Queen and immediate crowd around her. Noise became muffled and Antoinette almost felt like she could feel each particle of air along her skin as she went into shock. Then there was movement around the Queen and running. At that change of pace, things snapped back into focus and Antoinette grabbed onto Princess Wanda’s hand and used her own little body as a shield for any other threat; however, whoever committed the heinous crime was already fleeing with a crowd right on their heels.
Carolina and October were already moving towards the Queen. Antoinette looked back at Wanda and loosened her tight hold on her hand. She assumed Wanda would want to go to her mother’s side. Antoinette didn’t even know what she would do if she lost either one of her parents. It was unimaginable. Her eyes softened and she moved out of the way.
”Shall we go to your mother or get out of here?” Antoinette presented either option, not sure what the Princess would want to do but made sure she understood that Antoinette would follow her with either decision.

Antoinette was too busy in her world dancing with Princess Wanda to hear October’s alarming comment about fire starting. That of course, would not be a very brilliant idea. She smiled at Wanda’s giggle. It was almost like a fairy’s laugh. Or what Antoinette presumed a fairy’s laugh would sound like. She twirled the Princess around again before a strange red ribbon appeared. What on earth? It seemed to form right next to Wanda and lead a path through the crowd.
”It seems, someone has already beat us to the punch Carolina. Let us follow it!” Antoinette latched onto the ribbon and skipped along beside it and danced under it as she moved across the room to find where it ended.
She stumbled across Max and cocked her head to stare at him. It seemed he had conjured the thing out of thin air. Some sort of material manipulator. Antoinette wasn’t fully certain.
”What an interesting way to draw someone’s attention,” Antoinette noted as she stared doe-eyed at the man she had never met before.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: Reception -- Asgard
Skills:

Cuyler laughed right along with his mother. He wasn’t sure he could picture her as a troublemaker. How different his life would have been if he had been raised by her. If he had known about her. It amazed him that his father never said anything, never let it slip out who he was. Maybe it was there, in his father’s eyes as he watched Cuyler play in the water, learn to swim for the first time and become an excellent sailor. Cuyler’s thoughts and laugh was cut short though when his mother leaned in and explained that someone else had been at the reception. The way Klara whispered it to him had Cuyler thinking that he had gone unnoticed by most. Loki, the trickster as he was more commonly known. Cuyler knew much about him, or very little depending on how you looked at it. The trickster had a tendency to live a life of double meaning so other than his family, which Cuyler was now, no one truly knew him or what he was up to. There were some things Cuyler knew. Like the fact he had once kidnapped Klara and Runa.
Cuyler frowned and looked about the room. His great uncle was long gone but Cuyler was now on edge. He wasn’t sure if his mother was nervous or even scared but she was trusting him with sensitive information and so Cuyler would take this seriously. His life was here, his family and although Cuyler knew he wouldn't be able to stay for long, he would protect these people and do what he could because they were his people.
”Father told me that Loki kidnapped you and Runa once. I never liked his stories,” Cuyler informed her. ”What should we do?”

Amarantha

Location: The Palace Barracks
Skills:

Thankfully, Amarantha was no stranger to sudden changes; although, the sudden presence of flames was a bit alarming. Mona was able to put them out right away and so Amarantha relaxed. She gazed at Dawn in wonder before she scooped up the small child from Mona. She tickled under Dawn’s chin and up the side of her neck. A new dawn, a new day. There was still hope to be had and what a dangerous thing hope was.
”Looks like I have something exciting to tell your mother,” Amarantha mused to the child. At Apollodora’s comment of being the black sheep, the commander smirked. ”I assume that is why you came to me for specific training rather than going to see someone your mother approved of,” Amarantha mused.
She shifted Dawn onto her hip and looked at Apollodora. The more she looked at her, the more Amarantha saw herself. It filled her with a sense of pride but also confusion. How did they get to this point? There were too many questions that would go unanswered for Amarantha today; besides, there were more pressing concerns and although Amarantha wished to pursue her own desires, she had made a commitment to the royal family. ”Now you know I like surprises just like any other girl but this is Fleur we are talking about. Any information is of value and you seem to enjoy bending rules. As for stories, I know nothing. My own upbringing wasn’t exactly, full of storytime or any useful knowledge that would get us ahead beyond brute strength and backstabbing…” Amarantha’s eyes seemed to grown distance a moment as she was transported back in time. The moment didn’t last long though and she refocused on the present. ”The knowledge I hope to possess in the future is all self-taught.” She looked at Dawn, waiting to see if anything else would come from the baby tonight. ”However, the Manuscriptorium might have some useful information for us and if not, there are a few leads of my own I wish to check up. If you wish to join me for a little midnight raid,” Amarantha said to her new companion with a devilish twinkle in her eye.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Palace -- Dining Hall
Skills:

”Tomorrow then. Perhaps we should go first thing, get as much information as we can,” Ahote said with a smile. He loved learning new things and although he was more of a hands on learner, sitting and reading new things wasn’t going to be the absolute worst. Especially when he would be among friends. He glanced over at Prince Myrus and rose an eyebrow. ”Weird how?” It seemed everyone at each new place was weird in their own way but it was because of being in a different land. But if the people here were calling other people from here weird, perhaps they truly were.
He looked over at Princess Luna when she announced she was to retire now. Ahote smiled at her and wished her a good sleep. He looked back at Prince Myrus. ”Perhaps we should go work on the usual before bed as well.” The Prince and his tutor had developed a bit of a routine and they would go through a series of thoughts in order to get the Prince ready for a dreamless sleep. Most often it helped but there were times were things would get out of the control, the only warring Ahote having of that being Prince Myrus’s shifting auras.

Titan, along with the other guards moved carefully from their positions around the dining hall, getting ready to follow their charges to their rooms. Once each royal was where they were supposed to be, the guards would temporarily change while the main guards attended to their own meals and needs before returning to their posts. Amarantha didn’t like people she trusted in the dining hall with the royals, listening to conversations that were generally private and full of sensitive information.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

”What does my explanation have to do with being put in charge? I arrived in America a short while ago and went to see Xavier first and he merely passed along some information. If you chose to pursue the information I provide, then that is up to you. Perhaps you need to back off until your master arrives and decides if the risk this rich prick has is worth it or not. And if you know anything about Sebastian Shaw, you’ll know this isn’t something to overlook. But if it is decided to be brushed aside, then you can push me out the door. Until then I will wait,” Luna said and sat on the ground. Honestly it was probably cleaner then the softer surfaces. At least Luna could determine the stains on the floor better than the ones on the couches and chairs. She leaned back on her hands, legs crossed and stared at the people standing around her.
She didn’t mind the hesitation or the disbelief. It was rather refreshing honestly. Everyone just took her word for things and believed whatever bullshit she spat out because her father was a god to some. Why would anyone related to the famous Brian Braddock lie? Of course, Luna wouldn’t lie. She didn’t have the capacity to or the real need. So here she was, sitting on the ground in a vulnerable state waiting to see if they would give her a chance or if they would continue on with their pointless questions that merely showed their unnecessary need to show their defiance and independence from “the man”.
”As for my power, that won’t prove who I am. You either believe me or don’t. What you should believe is that I am here to help in any capacity that I can. Like I said, I wanted a change of scenery and a different pace. Diplomacy is rather boring but I am fully committed to whatever cause I am a part of. Unfortunately, I didn’t print off my credentials, so you’ll have to take my word for it sunshine.” The sarcasm was think in Luna’s voice as she smiled cooly at Havok. She didn’t much care for the hot head and she would rather enjoying poking fun at his overprotectiveness. It reminded her of a puppy.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

It seemed the daughter of Brian Braddock didn’t have much of a chill factor. Although she was rather calm and relaxed as she defended herself. She didn’t really seem to fuss over the fact of Havok not believing her. It was strange seeing someone so calm in uncharted territory.
Cayden looked over at Spark Plug appreciatively when she relayed his wish to Veil. He mouthed the words ”thank you” to her before he looked over at the little back and forth between Glimpse and Havok. She had now sat down on the floor, almost like a sit in and Cayden smirked looking at Havok. Maybe rather than a stand off there would be a sit off. It didn’t look like Glimpse was going anywhere time soon and the only person that would get her to leave would be Veil herself. How would Veil react to her information? Would she take it seriously or brush it off because she didn’t trust her? No one seemed to trust the higher ups in the mutant world. Granted, most of them were out for themselves or after revenge for a loved one who passed and would put others behind their own fight. Glimpse didn’t seem the type though. She did keep saying that she was here on her own, with just some prompting in direction from Xavier.
”I think it’s worth hearing her out man. I mean, she already knows our location and I didn’t see anyone lurking outside to come attack us.”
