Whatever the plan may be, they needed to go back to the Palace, that much was clear. The answers they needed for the fortress or to find Loki were there, thanks to Halley’s summary. ”Alright, well it’s a long ways back or do you have another jump in you for the three of us?” He looked at his cousin, hoping she did. They didn’t have a lot of time to spare. Whatever Magyk Cuyler had sensed was now disappearing as well. He wasn’t certain that was such a good thing.
Thia relaxed again at his side, she remained vigilant but her eyes were also dodging every which way. She was growing restless and Cuyler knew that meant she needed to hunt. ”Once we get back to the Palace, then you can go and see what you can find,” he told Thia. He scratched the top of her head and she leaned into him. Cuyler yawned and glanced up at the stars. The initial adrenaline of arriving here and then feeling Arya’s power had now drained from him. A combination of that and the descending darkness, Cuyler was feeling rather tired. ”We should press on, it’s getting rather late in the evening.”

Titan watched as servants and guards threw bodies onto the fires. He noted some of them were men and women from the army. Whether they were bitten or eaten, it didn’t matter. They all belonged to the other now. Titan moved slowly, using each step as a recovery from the trauma of the day. He passed a fellow guard turned mortician and stopped. He laid a hand on the man before murmuring a few words. The guard offered up and sword and Titan moved on.
Now equipped to properly guard the Queen and Crown Princess, he moved into a position of guarding. He scanned every nook and cranny that they passed. Shoving the pain of what he had seen today deep down where it could sit and wait. News of Prince Myrus being inside seemed to bring a light to the woman, Luna in particular and she was off and running. Titan looked to Valda, staying with her for the time being.

The smell of burnt flesh pricked Amarantha’s nose after the sound of screaming and the poetic hiss of a fire starting. She relaxed as she walked. ”Thank you Dawn,” she mumbled to herself. She had just lost her lead into the Vampire coven but Dawn had just saved what remained of the Palace Guard and they needed everyone they could get. She pushed forward, now seeking Titan. He would have to be in charge and she would need to disappear for awhile. There was no way she would be able to retain her post.
As she moved to go around a corner she felt the cool steel of a blade before hearing a familiar voice. Amarantha relaxed as Apollodora’s voice filled her ears. ”Yes, the need for blood is a bit daming but there are other perks,” she noted. ”Have you seen your mother? She’s a charmer.” Admittedly, Amarantha’s first interaction with Arya could have gone a lot smoother and Apollo did warn her not to make mention of her having a daughter but, Amarantha was desperate and she wasn’t one to cover anything in white sugar.

Ahote Proudstar

So it seemed Ragnarok was truly inevitable. Ahote turned his head, hearing Prince Myrus’s desperate pleas that something had to be done and he watched the blue demon walk further away. Was there even a point to pursue it, knowing that the Castle’s fate was sealed? Ahote thought back to the redhead at Loki’s feet. If they were only three years into the future, there was no other possibility than that fallen Queen being Valda. ”There must be something we can do.” There was a steel determination to Ahote’s voice. Clearly the man was not going down without a fight. Him and Myth seemed to have that in common at the moment. ”And if we can’t stop this, if we can’t even prolong it. Then at the very least we can get revenge on our fallen. Right now.” He looked at Bruce, ready for an objection or argument. Ahote was fighting today, who that would be, was yet to be determined.
Ahote stepped up beside Mryus. He laid a hand on his shoulder and gave the Prince’s shoulder a bit of a squeeze. ”Faith Prince Myrus. Hold onto it because we all could use a little of it. Faith and love.” As much as Mryus had learned from Ahote, Ahote had learned just as much if not more from the Prince himself and Ahote was just as determined to keep the Prince’s head up as he was in getting revenge for what would transpire here.

Cuyler frowned. He would have known if it was Halley’s Maygk or Arnora’s. Just like he knew the earlier Magyk he detected was Arya’s through and through. There was something different about this Magyk. It was Darke and yet there was Lyte to it as well; however, there wasn’t much point in the young half-Asgardian arguing with someone like Halley. It was always a losing battle so he waited for Arnora to finish tracking for Loki again.
”Great, back the way we came. Should we go back and possibly end up bouncing back and forth, or do we see if we can get into the invisible fortress and see what we find? Who knows what is on the other side of that thing.” Perhaps they would find something to defeat Loki within the invisible fortress. Cuyler even thought splitting up may be a good idea but Arnora was still fresh with her power. They might not be able to defeat or subdue Loki if they came across him themselves. They needed to stick together.

Amarantha (Viper)

Location: The Barracks -- The Palace

As they walked into the Barracks, the first two people they came across were the last two people Amarantha wanted to see. She clamped down on any desire she may have felt at needing to feed and rolled her shoulders back. ”You wouldn’t know this but I have a thing against harming children. Past trauma and all that,” Amarantha managed to grind out. It wasn’t far from the truth. As a child she had to kill many that were only children and as she grew older, that didn’t change in the Young Army. She looked at the mother of Dawn, desperately hoping that she wouldn’t kill her but also hoping that Dawn would sense some sort of danger and light the whole place up.
”Why don’t you take the tender one and I’ll look for something a bit more challenging.” Amarantha hoped her snide comment would bury itself inside the Vampire Gypsy’s head. Amarantha backed up and headed further into the barracks. At least this way she would still survive and if Dawn and her mother did not make it out, Amarantha wouldn’t have to watch her family die. Any more than already had and would.

”Shh!!!” Ahote glared at the Prince a bit with his outburst. ”We do not know that for sure as we don’t know how far in the future we are Mryus. We need to stay calm, we need to figure this out,” he said and started to make his way to the boats. Just as Ahote reached one, there was sudden warmth and flame followed by the presence of four new people, one of which started crying and then became rather angry. Cringing Ahote looked across the water to see the Frost Giant make its’ landing and it didn’t even look back. Thank their lucky stars for that because the new party was making an awful lot of noise.
Ahote stood up and looked at the newcomers. He recognized many of them from the Castle, including the Asgardian Bruce. He remembered his wedding being interrupted followed by the birth of his child. Ahote listened to Bruce and he frowned a little. ”How near in the future are we?” It didn’t sound good, not the way Bruce said it or was looking. ”I saw Loki sitting on the throne in a vision and we have been following a Frost Giant. He has just made the crossing and we were about to do the same. There isn’t enough room for all of us on these boats though.”

When Lennox saw the Prince, he relaxed but it didn’t last long. He recognized the Castle but it was in complete ruins. Myrus spoke of it possibly being Ragnarok but Lennox wasn’t too sure of what he was meaning. All he knew was that this was not good and they needed to leave.
“We should probably leave now. We don’t know what sort of things are here.” It didn’t help that Lennox didn’t have any Magykal ability to defend himself or the Prince with.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: 3G -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel rolled his eyes at Bryan. No Hades wasn’t bad but he didn’t exactly have a calm demeanor either. ”Please spare me the history lesson,” Ezekiel said and turned just as Bryan held up his bow and arrow as a few Athena kids walked out of the surrounding bushes. Ezekiel followed suit with his own bow, drawing the arrow back to his right jaw as he pointed it at one of the kids. ”We are technically all at home still. I thought you people were supposed to be smart,” Ezekiel said. He shifted a half second later, firing an arrow into the branch above one of the Athena kids heads. It lodged itself in but didn’t break. Ezekiel quickly launched another arrow, hoping to lodge the first one in further to break the branch but no dice.
He tossed his bow onto the ground and released his murakumo. ”Screw it,” Ezekiel said and started running towards the Athena half-blood he was focused on. He held onto his sword with both hands and moved to swipe against their shield in an attempt to unstable them. His sword connected to the shield with a resounding echo across the space they were in. Well, they had drawn attention to themselves now. Time for some real training. The half-blood was knocked down and Ezekiel jumped back and moved on to take out one of the other ones.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Grounds E5 ---> Wherever Carolina is after Quicksilver moved her -- New York City, New York.
Skills: Running; PTSD

Prince Flynn didn’t get to answer Antoinette and before she went to go find Wanda herself Queen Miranda walked over to Antoinette. Relief flashed across her face and she started to ask the Queen about her daughter but was stopped as the Queen did something that restored all of Antoinette’s memories from the other reality. Antoinette stumbled and images swirled in her head, her purple eye flashed as she tried to get a grip on the other reality.
The resounding gunshots set her off and she started running blindly. Antoinette was always good at running. She ran until she made it to Carolina’s body and collapsed in front of her friend. She was shaking and crying and started to shake Carolina. She wasn’t responding but she didn’t seem dead but Antoinette wasn’t able to understand that she was astral projecting. There was another person with them and Antoinette looked over at October. She had never met October in the real reality but she did have the memories of October in this reality. Still shaking, going into shock, Antoinette looked back at Carolina and squeezed her arms. ”Lina, come back. Please.” Antoinette was trying her hardest not to completely break down but there was so much piling on top of her and it seemed her personality of her was fighting against her personality of the other place.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Hellfire Club C4 ---> E3 -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Enhanced Speed

Time moved quickly in the Hellfire Club. As one thing happened, Luna’s attention would shift but than someone else would step in and take care of the problem or make it worse. For the most part, everyone was handling their own. There was the slight problem of Havok having been turned and now attacking Sapphire. That was ironic.
Luna watched as Jinx spit his gum at her after realizing he was bound. It hit her face and she merely blinked before taking it off and put it in her mouth. ”Still minty,” she commented. She then felt a command to put out the fire but before that could be achieved, it was done.
Veil called out to her to help Havok. How the bloody hell that was going to be achievable she hadn’t a clue but first thing was first, she needed to deal with her two foes first. She looked at Jinx since Requiem was seemingly busy with a new target. That would have to be remedied later. As Luna changed attention back though Jinx was trying to attack her. Trying and failing horribly. It was almost laughable and Luna had to smirk a little after he fell back and then punched her in the stomach as soft as a baby. ”Jinx, it seems your own power is working against you.” Luna advanced forward, putting on a burst of speed to try and knock Jinx down, only his jinxing was working well on her too and she merely got enough force into shoving him a little; however, she was close enough to wrap arms around him and pinned him to her.
Now that Luna had Jinx, she needed to get to Havok. Perhaps Havok could take him out but if not, this gave Luna a moment to figure out how to subdue Jinx and wake Havok back up.
” Oi, lover of a criminal’s daughter. Who’s in your head?” Luna’s accent was thicker in the heat of battle but she was also thinking that if she annoyed Havok enough, his distaste of her would knock whoever was invading his head out. Either that or Luna would push in. May as well try both.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground -- Washington D.C.

Colossus came and picked up the girl with ease, back in is iron form. Cayden relaxed a little, feeling better about seeing the big guy this way. He looked about the room. The ceiling was still crumbling and the guy responsible was being rather ominous with her words before taking out a major support beam. Cayden’s eyes widened and he scanned to see if anyone needed help getting out. Waverly made an impressive show of knocking the man out while Colossus went to work being a living support beam. ”We need to get to an exit. This place could still go down!” He was then instructed by their temporary leader Spark Plug to tie up the man on the ground. James was on it already but Cayden did decide to check on the knot tying before he was distracted by all the newcomers. He shifted again, tensing up to attack more when Colossus explained they were friends. The newest ice queen meanwhile had saved the crumbling roof temporarily and Cayden relaxed a bit more. ”We should look for a safer place to talk,” he still pressed.
It seemed quite a few people knew who had just shown up and those people seemed to know who or rather what, had just attacked them. Purifiers. But how did they find them? Were they tracking them or tracking Cayden. He had just shown up. He ran a hand across his neck, squeezing slightly as he worried over the idea of endangering his new friends. He didn’t think the Purifiers would have any reason to track him specifically.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Camp Fire Pit

"Really Kristin? Miss Perfect is okay with stealing a car? Well, the world really has turned upside down hasn't it?" He shifted his pack, getting used to the weight of carrying something again. "And I think flashy is a bad idea. We don't want to draw too much attention to ourselves. Let's just worry about getting to Manhattan first." Ezekiel started to walk forward, heading to the Big House so they could wrangle up Argus and get the heck out of dodge. Ezekiel was excited to leave camp, if not a bit nervous. He had never been to Texas before and he had never been on a quest for his father directly before. There was a lot of weight on his shoulders.
"So what kind of music do you two listen too? It's going to be a long drive, hopefully we have similar tastes."
Ezekiel Kel

Location: 3G -- Camp Half-Blood

As they walked through the trees, virtually undetected, Ezekiel would raise the bow up every once in awhile to sight something he saw moving or just to give pause to everything else he was doing so he could completely focus on one thing. Other than birds and distant shouting, Ezekiel didn’t see or hear much of anything. It was as much of a relief as it was boring. He looked over at Bryan when he mentioned the prophecy and he smirked.
”I wonder sometimes if Rosie just gets bored in that cave and makes things up. ‘A world of darkness shall bring all of the Gods to their knees…’ Really? That is highly unlikely. Our father is the literal Sun God. If there is going to be a world of darkness it's because he forgot to turn the light back on. Hades is virtually caged up so I don’t see him turning the world to darkness. The whole prophecy thing is stupid and I don’t see why it is our problem to worry about.” As much as Ezekiel had this unyielding need to prove himself, he sure didn’t like having to fight the battles of others. He didn’t ask for this life but he did like being at camp. It’s why he was full-time from nearly the beginning. This was his home and he would protect his home but he didn’t care about the rest of it. No one else ever did.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: The Palace Grounds E5 -- New York City, New York.

Antoinette watched as her friend raced off after telling her to head towards the Palace. It would have been a great idea but Antoinette was now in-between Prince Flynn and the King of the world and she was still trying to process the fact that he was actually a bad person. Not to mention, the yelling and the constant ring of gunfire going on around her. It was enough to push any non-combative person into the fetal position but Antoinette remained standing, too shocked to do anything else. Her eyes continued to flare in colour, her vision along with it and she was starting to feel the beginnings of a headache from the overstimulation.
Her intuition was going haywire as she was hit with sensation after sensation of something terrible and awful going on. It was obvious to see, it was going on all around but it wouldn’t shut off. And then out of the corner of her eye she saw a little penguin, flapping its wings and squawking at her. She seemed to relax a moment but then her vision shifted and it was covered in blood and seemingly falling apart in front of her eyes. It stumbled towards her then turned and headed for Magneto. It reached out, calling to him before it completely disintegrated. Antoinette stared in horror at what her mind had created but then the debris started to shift until a great bird rose up. It seemed to be on fire as it fanned out its wings and looked at Antoinette. The Phoenix cried out before launching itself into the sky and disappeared.
As if it couldn’t get any more weird than a disintegrating penguin then random phoenix. Antoinette’s head was pounding, her eyes still flaring when she turned away from the King and looked at Flynn. She didn’t know why but that strange illusion brought up Wanda for her and she was suddenly very concerned. ”Where is your sister?” Formality was completely thrown out the window and Antoinette was normally very good at remaining formal.

Cuyler Eysteinsson

Location: The Port The Port ---> The Palace Boat Launch -- The Castle
Skills:

Cuyler’s attention was split between the overpowering Magykal presence he could still detect and the squabbling behind him. He was grateful to see the royals, it was almost a relief seeing someone from his old life. He felt he should correct Halley on who the actual Princess was but it would prove useless. She didn’t really care and they didn’t really have the time to go through the royal’s family history.
”I think we should move on,” he said, unaware that the dragon boat had risen once again. Cuyler was worried they were starting to draw attention to themselves and how could they not. A giant fireball, followed by the landing and take off of a giant dragon as a boat? It was bound to be somewhat alarming. Even in a place with unique traffic as the Port. Cuyler looked up, seeing shadow and watched the dragon boat fly away. He remembered the spinning axe and frowned. It was pointing to them at one point. Perhaps they knew of some information that would help them on this quest. Of course it was too late to ask now.
”Do you feel that Magyk?” He directed his question to Halley as he moved closer to them. Thia remained in her position as outside guard.

Titan stared in disbelief as his sword was transformed into hundreds of butterflies. What on earth? What was he to do now! That witch! Titan glared at the strange woman, infuriated but he was quickly scooped and unable to retaliate. A noise squeaked out of him from being suspended over thin air as they were transported back to the Palace. He saw water rapidly approaching and had the good sense to take a deep breath before plummeting into the water. He swam out from under the boat and hoisted himself up onto the dock. He was wet and a bit miserable. He liked that sword. It had been a gift.

Amarantha

Location: The Entrance Hall; The Parlor ---> Private Courtyard -- The Palace
Skills: Psychological Deception;

Lennox bowed his head to Bruce before he nodded. “That would be excellent, thank you. Would you mind reaching out and seeing if you could locate the Queen and Princess as well. They may be inside that room as well or somewhere else within the Palace,” Lennox explained. Of course, if Bruce didn’t detected the Prince inside, there was probably no one with in the Queen’s Room. Odd, that would be the best place for them to be.

”Well if you’re offering,” she said with a smirk and fell into step beside Gypsy. Perhaps Amarantha had gone a bit soft, having moved up in ranks and staying within the Palace walls. After all, she did let Vampires into her home and who knew how long they had been here casing the place. After all, she had seen this woman within the market a week or so ago. It could have been even longer and she didn’t even know. ”You can call me Viper,” Amarantha said simply. She wasn’t about to give her real name out, that could come later if it had to and Amarantha didn’t all out care if Gypsy believed her or not on this one. A name was a name and sometimes they changed like the tide.
They made it outside and Amarantha shifted, looking over at the barracks when Gypsy mentioned having a snack. She bristled but relaxed her face and looked over at her new, temporary friend. ”Seems a bit much. I don’t think we need to stop here, how about within town?” Amarantha leaned heavily on her words, hoping to convince her otherwise but it fell through like a rock through tissue paper.
“Nah, we got's to finish the job luv,” Gypsy simply responded. Amarantha looked towards the barracks. She had two options. Take out Gypsy now and lose her only lead or follow the crazed Vampire and kill a few people before getting away or being killed.
”Well we best get started then,” Amarantha said and walked forward. Puck had a saying, the good of the few outweigh the good of the many. It was always a little funny to Amarantha but Puck was always one to think towards the future rather than the present. It’s probably why he didn’t foresee himself getting eaten by a dragon. Amarantha instead was deciding to believe the good of the many outweighing the good of the few. She needed to get on the good side with this Vampire and if that meant killing some of her people to save the greater good of the Castle, than she would.

Ahote Proudstar

Location: The Future Palace
Skills: Trivia Knowledge; Sneaking

Ahote continued to watch the giant while Prince Myrus started to talk, identifying the creature as a Frost Giant just as Ahote had determined himself and then he mentioned something called Ragnarok. Ahote glanced at the Prince before moving forward to continue following the giant.
”Ragnarok… the end of ends for the Nine Realms, according to Norse Mythology. Hmm, I am not sure if this is what that is but I do know these Frost Giant’s are Loki’s followers at present. When I first arrived, I checked the past and found Loki sitting on the throne with a red headed woman lying at his feet,” he looked over at the Prince and placed a hand on his shoulder. ”I do not know what time we have been plunged into so I do not know who the woman was. All I know is that this is the perceived future of the Castle and I intend to find a way to change it. Will you join me?” Of course the Prince didn’t have much of a choice Ahote thought but Myrus had also come a long way in his training so if he did decide to go on his own, Ahote would respect that. ”As for how long you have been gone. I do not know for after we entered the Queen’s Room, your sisters and Titan disappeared inside a cupboard. There were Vampires in the hallway and I was intending to find something to either bring your siblings back from wherever they went or stop the vampires. Instead I found a glass shard and was transported here.”
Ahote turned his attention back to the Frost Giant. He could see across the waterway. They seemed to be at the Palace Boat Launch and the Giant was making its way across to the other side of the Castle. Strange how Ahote could see to the other side when earlier that day there were buildings and other structures blocking the view. But that was a different time. Ahote scanned for some other type of floating device that would allow them passage across. They would have to wait until the Frost Giant made his landing though as there was no cover for Ahote and the Prince. Ahote did spot two small paddle boats, more like the small boats he used at home for water travel or fishing. They were made for one person but at the Castle he had seen children using them for play. They would have to do and hopefully they would hold.
While pointing out the boats, Ahote spoke. ”We can take those once the Frost Giant is across. Then we can make it to the other side. If we lose sight of him I can track him,” Ahote spoke confidently.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Hellfire Club C4 -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy - Binding

Luna was left with her questions unanswered. First Sapphire appeared and then one by one the rest of the people Luna had brought up were revealed and the fighting started. Luna glared at Sapphire before she stood, annoyed and frustrated. Of course she was the first one to intervene. She never trusted Luna and now that lack of trust and thoughts of something going wrong came true. Psychologist’s called that fortune telling.
There was no time for frustration however, they were all in the middle of a fight and they would all have to fight in order to get out of here remotely alive. Fire erupted in a ring around Luna and the two gentlemen. She eyed them both as the one with horrid drink taste trained himself on her and the other pulled out a gun and opened fire. Luna narrowed her eyes and entered their minds before she bound them so neither could move. Her lips curved into a wicked grin. "Down Boo Boo, down," she taunted.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground Third Floor CD2 ---> D4 -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Observation; Perception; Enhanced Strength - Heavy Strike

The bell being rung was a little bittersweet. Yes, they had managed to do it all together but the victory was short-lived as their home became invaded. Cayden had but a few moments to take in the intruders before they started to attack. The girl started to come after him and Colossus and when Cayden looked to Colossus, he found that the big guy had turned from his great silverness back into an average looking man. That couldn't bode well. Cayden could see that this girl meant a great deal to him. What their relationship was, he couldn't tell but there was something.
Cayden looked back at the girl charging him. ”Come on big guy, I know this may be, shocking or whatever but we need you on this team too. No matter who we are up against.” Cayden couldn’t wait for the girl to approach or Colossus to be okay with his statement. The building was crumbling and they were running out of time. Thank goodness most of the kids were out from yesterday.
He was running out of space now and he needed to get in a good couple paces before he could land a proper heavy strike. He strode forward and wound up to land a hit to her chest. Cayden nailed her and knocked her flat out. He looked at Colossus apologetically. "Grab her if you need to but we got to go!"
