Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

The woman completely ignored Cassiopeia’s comment but didn’t bother to look away from them. Okay, what the hell was this, some freak staring contest? One of the boys got up and slid past Cassiopeia before trying to spit balls of paper at her. The one meant for Cassiopeia missed but the one for Layla, hit her dead center on the forehead. Cassiopeia would have laughed if she wasn’t already annoyed and if it hadn’t been some random stranger. Layla stood and Cassiopeia watched her sister slip a fork up her sleeve before going and following the curly headed boy. Cassiopeia smirked then and looked back at the older woman and other boy still sitting at their table. The one thing about foster kids who had bounced from home to home, a few on the less than safe side was you tended to learn how to look after yourselves, by any means necessary.
Cassiopeia picked up the discarded piece of paper and saw a rough sketch followed by the words, ’I believe she needs to speak to you two.’ Cassiopeia carried the paper over to their table and tossed the page down onto the table and stared at the woman. ”Clearly you know me but I do not know you or you. I believe introductions are in order,” Cassiopeia said and looked between Colby and Tink. ”I suggest you hurry up as well before my sister gets too friendly with your curly haired friend.”

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow shook her head, not minding at all if they took her vehicle, she did offer it to them all after all. She gathered up her things, ready to be on the move and headed for the door. She looked over at Sierra when she spoke about her mechanical friend and shook her head again. Willow unlocked her SUV so everyone could get in and opened up the driver’s side door. ”It’s my parents problem, not mine,” she said rather harshly before sliding onto the driver’s seat. She turned on her SUV and turned down the radio so they could talk on the way to the park.
Willow was rather upset but there were several different emotions running through her body, being angry was the easier option. She was grateful to drive though, if not to have something else to keep her mind occupied and focused on something else other than her parents deceit. Willow looked over at Sierra. ”Why would two adults lie to a child?” She tried to rack her brain for some psychological reason but she was too emotionally wired to be able to think of a logical reason.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Apollo Cabin ---> The Big House -- Camp Half-Blood

The funeral service had been, nice. Ezekiel stowed away his chosen weapons, grateful for the horn that allowed him to be free from Juan’s headlock. Ezekiel still couldn’t really believe that the girl had died and so brutally by the sounds of it. He never liked that creepy talking skull anyways, so at least that thing was gone. He had remained silent and respectful while the ceremony went on and even stayed a bit longer to offer up a prayer before he procured the potions and herbs from Rebecca. He put them in a bag before going to the Big House to gather up some more medical essentials before he went to the training area to meet up with the others. It had been a good way to blow off steam as well as figure out how to fight off of each other. Ezekiel knew Kristen’s fighting well but Janelle was the odd one out but he felt better about that after the training.
During the night Ezekiel had been plagued by a dream and judging by who was with him, Janelle and Kristen were having the same dream as well. They were bystanders up until the end, watching a large woman with her dog speak to someone before the dog shifted and turned on them, signalling to the woman that there other people present. Before she could react though, the dream suddenly ended and Ezekiel was awake.
The sun was streaming in through a gap in the curtains of Ezekiel’s cabin. It took him a moment to register where he was after waking so abruptly. He ran over the dream in his head as he laid in bed, trying to piece some of it together. The woman’s face had been a bit of a blur; although, she had been fairly large and the hidden Chimera in her purse was hard to miss. What she spoke of though, Ezekiel knew it had something to do with the others leaving to go to Jupiter. Ezekiel threw back the covers and quickly dressed. He pulled on jeans and a long sleeved, maroon coloured shirt before he pulled his normal beanie over his head and ran to the Big House.
”Mr. D, Chiron!!” he called out.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground HQ-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

The new headquarters weren’t awful, at the very least they had bedrooms and space that they could have to themselves should they need it. Hiding the vehicles under tarps wasn’t ideal but it was better than having no cover at all and Luna was still able to have her rented motorcycle. As for the rats and bugs, they made great target practice should one need it. Things could be much, much worse. Luna was wandering, she wanted to talk with Veil but she seemed to be having a moment with her cold best friend and so Luna thought it best to walk away. She moved past the posse of children on the stairs and wandered down the hall until she found Jack. She leaned on the door frame and knocked.
”I do believe that is a wasted effort,” she noted, watching him hit his head on the wall. ”The thoughts will still be there, just more annoying with a headache. Can I talk to you for a minute? It’s about the gentleman you were speaking with at the bar.” Of course Jack had every right to turn her away if he wanted, clearly he was going through some things as well but Luna had a need to know and if he needed to talk, well he could talk to her. Luna may be telepathic but she was good at keeping secrets.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: "Dining Room" - Mutant Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

The whole underground seemed pretty somber. The news the bar team brought back with them was far from comforting and they were at the bottom of the totem pole again, trying to climb back up. If it was even worth climbing back up again. They were up against some serious villains here and they didn’t have a lot of manpower. Still, Cayden had a smile on his face, even standing in the same room with Vulcan, who tried to kill them all. Twice. They couldn’t let him go but they couldn’t keep him either. ”Do you really think that medication we got will help them be, normal again?” It was an open question, to anyone really.
Illyana, Colossus sister was relatively normal again and that was a good sign but she also had a psychotic break of some kind that almost got the people in the vehicle with her all killed. That wasn’t an ideal way to break through from being drugged but maybe that’s what they would all have to face. Still, it would be easier just to kill him but easier isn't always right. Cayden’s father used to take the easy way out and rather than turn, Cayden took the harder way and moved through his life with compassion. This situation would have to be no different, if only to keep Cayden sane and guilt free.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - Phalanx Room (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Enhanced Intuition; Illusion Casting

Eight increased by ten and then went down by a few numbers as each of the members of Antoinette's team took down one of the Phalanx's, followed by Thor’s contribution and Lance’s. Then they turned on all of them, growing more aggressive and lashed out. One managed to slice Antoinette’s arm, getting her good and she cried out from the searing pain of it. It felt as if her arm was on fire but numb all at the same time. It was a lot of pain but by the adrenaline already going through Antoinette, she was able to continue fighting. Her blue eye started to glow as she tapped into her intuition to get a better read on these creatures. They were smart, seeming to be able to operate and function on their own but their minds were beyond Antoinette’s comprehension. Any attack on them that way, would probably glance off of them but Antoinette was at least willing to try.
Antoinette tapped into her intuition to see if she could notice a fighting pattern that she may be able to counter attack when she saw Lance’s levels spike inside her helmet. She turned her head quickly, seeing Carolina run over to Lance who had found an escape door but he was down on the ground. Oh no, oh this could not be good. She looked back at the Phalanx’s. They needed to get out but it wouldn’t be easy with all these things coming after them with murderous intent. Not to mention the item they were looking for was possibly in this room, right above them.
She wasn’t able to pick up on a fighting pattern, something she wasn’t completely surprised about. Antoinette looked back at her friends. Lance who didn’t look well and Carolina who was freaking. Not to mention Elizabeth and Thor all there as well. Antoinette’s blue eye stopped glowing and her purple one started as she worked on an illusion. She used her pain to fuel her and her desire to protect her friends. The Hulk appeared in front of them, separating her friends from the Phalanx’s and it even solidified. It roared fiercely at the creatures and Antoinette moved backwards towards Carolina and the door.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Arena ---> The Armory -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel was also about to invite Jason to come and train with them, if anything to keep the numbers even but the leader of the damn place spoke up before he could. That was fine, but her giving suggestions on potions was not. That was not her wheelhouse or area of expertise. They were Rebecca’s and the medicine was Ezekiel’s. This quest was already going to hell. ”Do you even know what crystals do Kristen?” He shook his head and headed to the armory. He was tired of her know it all attitude. She didn’t know it all and if she kept pretending she did, one of them would end up dead.
Ezekiel made it the armory and found Juan. He looked a bit of the jock and Ezekiel smirked a little as his sidled up next to him. ”Juan! Heading out for a quest, could I get my hands on a couple sets of arrows and how’s my bow looking?”
Juan was looking around the armory, for something, before turning his head when Zeke came in and smirked a little bit before pulling him into a headlock and gave him a nuggie. "Yep, your bow is fine, right where you usually keep it, and a quiver of arrows as well for ya Zekey."
”Gah, seriously man! Not the damned hair!” Ezekiel placed hands on Juan’s oversized triceps and pushed on his hold to try and squirm out of it. They were children, all of them. "Can you please stop acting like a five-year-old!"

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia looked back at the woman who was looking back at the both of them. She made easy eye contact with the woman and narrowed her eyes a bit, trying to get a read on her. Why on earth was she staring at them? Cassiopeia’s eyes shifted to the other two boys, one kept glancing their way too, a confused almost expression on his face Cassiopeia thought but as she didn’t know these people, she could only guess. Cassiopeia shifted and nodded at the woman. ”Like what you see?” She glanced at her sister and then back at the woman.
Tink wasn’t bad to look at but Cassiopeia had a feeling she was a little too old for her and she didn’t like people staring blankly at her either. ”Let’s go,” she told her sister roughly before standing up. They had to get to the park and Cassiopeia didn’t feel like having a staring contest with strangers.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner
Skills:

Willow looked over at Sierra and sighed. ”Ya, that might be nice. I need to figure this all out first,” she admitted. Perhaps she would call her friend Annie. She knew she was adopted and they had been friends for awhile and she could be the comfort she needed, since they were already friends. Maybe Willow would ask Annie if she could spend the night. She wasn’t certain if she wanted to see her parents after going to the park.
”Well whichever. If you want to take your own vehicles, of course I understand. I just thought since we were all going to the same place, it would make things easier,” Willow stated. She shut her phone off for the time being, her mother had already tried calling her back twice since she hung up on her and who knows how many text messages she had now. She didn’t want to talk to the people who had been lying to her, her entire life. Going to the park to find answers seemed like an easier thing to deal with right now.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

All of them seemed to make it back to elevators relatively at the same time. Max and Leighton were standing in the elevator, the doors closing when Jack and Sunshine showed up. Sunshine yelled, seeming to be quite emotionally distraught and threw an object towards the elevator that kept the doors from closing. Luna focused on the two in the elevator and saw Max’s eyes. She frowned, did they ever glow like that? She couldn’t recall them ever. Veil pulled her attention away and Luna nodded. She stepped forward, ready to enter Max’s mind when he blew some strange dust in her face. She inhaled on instinct and sneezed as it slipped further into her system. She was overcome with sleepiness and was unable to complete her task and fell to the floor.
When she finally came too, Max and Leighton were gone and everyone around her either looked upset or sad. She rubbed her head and ran a hand over her eyes as she yawned and sat up. ”Wad-I miss?” Her words slurred together as if she had been woken abruptly. She pushed herself to her feet before yawning again. ”Where did Max and Leighton go?” They were getting into the elevator and Max's eyes were glowing, last she remembered. Had Emma convinced them to leave somehow?

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Old Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Nobody seemed to agree that Cayden should enter the unconscious man’s mind so he didn’t even bother. Illyana was helpful in giving a description of what might be going through Vulcan’s mind and he smirked. ”I take it you’ve had the unlucky conversation to know what he might be thinking?” He was a bit surprised to hear that this man was Havok’s brother. Interesting how Havok’s brother shows up after his girlfriend goes missing.
Cayden turned his attention when Sapphire got a hold of Veil and he gave Waverley a soft smile. At least she was trying to help, even if Sapphire didn’t look at it that way. He waited for the conversation to end and for Sapphire to relay what was going on with the other group. ”Which two?” Surely it wasn’t Glimpse, Captain Britain's daughter. That would be a tough one to swallow for Cayden. He was growing a bit frustrated with Sapphire and her lack of trust for the new people. No, it wasn’t good that two people just left but there were still a lot of newbies sticking around and wasn't the Underground just a way station for Mutants anyways? Heck, one of the people Sapphire claimed to trust, had a brother who just attacked them. Who’s to say Havok didn’t give up their location and lead the drugged up Mutants here. ”Should we all wait here for them or have some of us move ahead to the new location?” Cayden wasn’t sure how long the others would take and waiting out in the open didn’t seem like a good idea either.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Stark Tower ---> Galactus Ship - Phalanx Room (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Illusion Casting

Antoinette looked up as they were transported to the ship but she didn’t see much of space on the way up. Once on the ship, she looked around and saw that they were surrounded by odd looking wires and machinery. Her suit started to beep a bit, a beacon telling them where the device they needed was. Antoinette took a couple steps ahead, ready to fly up towards where the beeping icon told them to go when the Phalanx’s appeared. They were rather unique looking creatures, made of gears, wires and metal rather than flesh and bone. Antoinette took a step back and looked over at Carolina who smiled at her before her suit went still. Antoinette was able to guess she had inhabited another body when one of the Phalanx’s turned on the other. That would certainly help them if she could keep a hold of the body.
Antoinette returned her attention to the Phalanx’s and created an illusion behind them in hopes to split their attention from her and her friends. The illusion was executed well but the Phalanx’s didn’t seem to care. All but one remained focused on the true Iron Man suits so Antoinette turned and focused on the distracted one. Antoinette switched gears with her illusions and moved them into a more offensive position before sending them one right after the other towards the distracted Phalanx in hopes to overwhelm it into shutting down or running off. Her first attempt had no affect on it but her second round of illusion attacks proved fatal for the Phalanx. She let out a squeal of triumph before turning to see how the others were faring. At least there was only eight of them.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Arena -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel stuck his tongue out at Kristen when she seemed hesitant and annoyed with his presence. Guess what sweetheart, you have to suck it up and deal, just try not to drool this time. He crossed his arms and smirked at Lauryn, sure it wasn’t a great nickname but at the very least he wasn’t the only one who called them that. ”Ya we could all train together. Helps when we need to fight and we know how to play off of each other,” Ezekiel added. As much as he disliked being locked down in another quest with Kristen, at least he knew how she operated. That would keep them safe in the long run. Janelle was the wild card so they needed to get a better feel for her and what she was comfortable with.
Ezekiel started walking again, pushing the group towards the armory when Kristen turned to him and asked about Rosie. ”She says she is fine. We made her some tea to help her feel relaxed and with the after headache. I might go see her after just to double check.” He didn’t really have to tell Kristen any of that but he took pride in his job.
Rebecca came over and asked if there was anything the group needed made. The infirmary was fully stocked so Ezekiel planned on taking some supplies from there to keep them going. ”Perhaps herbs for wakefulness, stamina, things of that nature. I’m not totally sure what we are walking into. We have things for pain, burns and other medical needs like that at the infirmary I plan on stocking us up with. I’m not totally convinced on the crystal thing,” he informed her. That seemed a bit much to him. Rebecca was a gods send, well, all of the Hecate children were but there were some things that just crossed a line when it came to them.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Camp Fire Pit ---> Car

Ezekiel smirked at Kristen before following along to Argus and the car. Their music tastes weren't awful either, perhaps this wouldn't be so bad. Convientely, Leda slipped into the shotgun position, leaving Ezekiel stuck in the back with Kristen. He frowned a bit but got into the backseat without another word. Positivity Zeke, he instructed himself. Well, we would see how well the self motivation worked on a journey stuck with two teenage girls.
Leda asked Argus what kind of music he liked and he rose at eyebrow at Leda in silent question. Ezekiel was certain he had never heard the man speak a day in his whole time being at camp. Could be rather entertaining in a way and make the trip less boring if the man did decide to talk. He pictured them all rocking out to an 80s classic, complete with some stellar air guitar. He shook his head, ya right.
