Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Dining Room-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna watched Colossus walk away and sighed a little before she looked over at Nightcrawler. ”About earlier, I know I was rather harsh but my main concern was getting us all out of there and not accepting an apology from someone who just stabbed me. That being said, I’m alive and incredibly grateful for it and I do accept your apology and don’t hold anything against you for it. I’ve been mind controlled before but nothing what you are going through I’m sure but if there’s someway I can understand better, please let me know. I’ll admit I am curious about the whole ordeal, what it felt like, were you consciously aware or completely taken over... . When you’re ready to talk, I’m eager to listen,” Luna confessed.
She gave Kurt a small smile before she looked away and could smell pizza. Her stomach grumbled loudly in response and she put a hand over it in the hopes that would silence it. She was glad they had found some money at Sinister’s lab. A good meal would be excellent for everyone. ”In the meantime, is there anything we can do for you? Someone we can call or anything?” Luna asked, looking back at Nightcrawler. Of course she assumed he was probably hungry, as was everyone in this building but if there was anything else he needed, she would try to accommodate as long as it was within her power to do so.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Entranceway-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden eyed Quicksilver and his impressive numbers of when exactly he switched sides. He knew of that explosion and new DC had briefly lost power because of it. It hadn’t been a little thing. His eyes widened when Quicksilver mentioned Professor Xavier was going to be coming here. The X man himself. First Captain Britain's daughter and now this. Cayden felt as if he had died and gone to heaven.
He looked at Veil when she asked the speedster to do a favour for them. Well, if Veil was comfortable with Quick, then so was Cayden. While Quick was gone, Cayden just kind of stood there with the group, his tasks were now completed with James having gone to help Sapphire and now she was standing with the rest of them. He smiled when Waverley joined them and gave her a bit of a wave before Quicksilver came back with food, pop and beer for the older mutants. ”I’ll take a couple of these to the kids,” Cayden volunteered and took a couple of pizzas and some pop from Quicksilver once he was stable. ”Thanks Quick!” he said cheerily before heading into the room with most of the kids to deliver them sustenance.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia smirked at how quickly Colby answered her and how uncomfortable Matthew was looking. ”Ya huh,” she said. She leaned into Layla when her sister hugged her, wrapping an arm over her shoulders and held the locket tightly in her hand. She looked at Layla, wondering what the hell they were going to do. It was crazy what Tink was saying but Cassiopeia wanted to see this for herself, she was hooked on the idea of it now. ”So you want us running back to trouble, after we were sent away in the first place? That sounds like a well thought out plan,” Cassi noted. ”Why can’t our parents fix this problem?”
Tink pulled out her phone and Cassi watched her curiously as her eyes scanned the phone before she offered to take them to Merlin. Who always was apparently real. She was still trying to wrap her head around all of that as well. She looked back at Layla, seeing her sister already looking at her. ”We may as well Lala, what have we got to lose,” she said before telling Tink they would come.

Willow Jones

Location: Willow’s House
Skills:

Willow hung up her jacket and her keys before she slipped off her wet shoes and followed the sound of her mother's voice to the kitchen. Willow's mom was sitting on the phone and her dad was nowhere in sight, which wasn't a surprise. She walked over and turned the kettle on, making eye contact with her mom and waited for her to hang up the phone so they could talk this out. Willow wanted an answer now and she would be more comfortable dealing with one parent at a time.

Willow's mother turned her head slightly seeing her daughter coming into the kitchen. "I'll talk to you later okay hun?" Willow's mother said, before hanging up the phone. "Willow, i'm really sorry we were going to tell you when the time was right.." She said softly as she went over to give her a hug.

Willow shifted, holding her hand out so her mother wouldn't hug her. She didn't need to be coddled or comforted right now, she wanted to understand. "When the time was right? I'm twenty-one mom and besides that, is there every really a "right" time?" The kettle started to boil and Willow pulled out two cups to make tea for herself and her mom.

Willow's mother frowned a little bit, and took a step back letting out a quiet sigh. "You are right your father and I should have told you this a lot sooner, and i'm sorry for not saying any of this sooner to you we both are."

Willow nodded, appreciating the words her mother spoke to her. They had always been close, the three of them, her and her mother more so at this age. It hurt to be lied to, to be this disappointed in a parent who was your everything. Willow made their tea, the same way they took it every time and carried the cups to the table. She sat down, blowing on the hot liquid and took a tentative sip before setting the cup down. "Do you know who my real parents are?" If they didn't, she didn't want her mother throwing her into the loony bin for saying she's a fairy tale princess or whatever she was.

Willow's mother walked over and sat down at the kitchen table while looking over at her daughter seeing the disappointment in her eyes which she could tell before shaking her head slightly. "No, your father and I never knew who your real parents were, we went through the adoption center, which was where we found you."

Willow nodded, she wasn't sure if that was a relief or not. "Mom, if I had the opportunity to get to know my biological parents? What would you say? I'd have to leave school," she added in. Other than the nature of who her parents may be, which Willow still didn't know, she didn't keep much from her mom and it was hard not to remain honest still.

Willow's mother looked at her daughter for a moment and gave her a slight smile, though she didn't like the idea of her daughter dropping out of school, though Willow was old enough now to make her own choices. "I'll help however I can, and you are old enough now to pick whatever you want to do with your future." She said softly.

Willow looked at her mom, feeling her heart hurt from the love and shifted. She got off her chair and promptly sat in her mother's lap and hugged her. "I love you mom," she declared. "Thank you for loving me." They were simple words but they held so much meaning. "I'm going to go call Annabelle," she told her mom.

Willow kissed her mother’s cheek before she got off her lap, grabbed her tea and headed up the stairs. She shut the door to her room and dialed the familiar number of one of her close friends Annabelle. As she waited for her to pick up the phone, Willow lit a rose scented candle and curled up on a chair in her room with her tea.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Camp Van -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel climbed into the van after the girls and switched the song on his iPod. ”Been there a handful of times,” he said simply. Ezekiel hated small talk. What was the point of it, to make everyone in the room or in this case van, as uncomfortable as possible? Ezekiel accepted the money from Kristen and counted each set before he divided it up in his bag and tucked it between his legs on the floor.
He looked out the window at the ship, sort of wishing he could be on a ship adventure rather than a smelly van adventure. Ezekiel was definitely used to getting shit on at camp. He had started here being a complete ass but it was his way of gaining a sense of control. At his former school he used to get beat up and picked on constantly, at least now he could look after himself and being constantly yelled at was easier than having to be emotionally available when he could hardly handle his own emotions. He shifted in his seat, tilting his head back to rest against the seat and shut his eyes. It was important to get sleep whenever you could Ezekiel thought because once the quest truly started, sleep was limited.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Illusion Casting; Intuition; Fireworks what?

When Antoinette was hit again, her mind flashed to her most recent hit but this time she recovered quickly. She let out a little breath, feeling relief from that feeling alone and jumped back into the fray. Luckily, the blast she received didn’t bother her illusion and the rats kept up their work. They weren’t doing any serious damage but they were definitely qualifying in their role as pests to the Chitauri. Both of her eyes started to glow as she tapped into her intuition now and reached out to the Chitauri hoping she would pick up on their language and see what their fight patterns were. All she seemed to be able to get was that these creatures had 192 ways to say “hate”. These creatures didn’t seem very loving at all.
She glanced at Lance, seeing he had gotten hit as well but seemed to be faring okay and he hadn’t shifted into the Hulk again so that was a good sign. She had to admit that running looked like a fairly good idea. They were barely making a dent in these creatures as it was. Antoinette saw a flash and looked down, seeing her hands spark and release what looked like mini fireworks. Her eyes widened, although no one would see her facial expression due to the face mask. What was this? Was it part of the suit? But Mr. Stark had said he hadn’t had time to weaponize the suits. Antoinette looked up to see if anyone else had seen what just flew from her hands.

Anyone who would want to would be able to see Antoinette's new power.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Dining Room-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna watched Veil walk off after saying they didn’t need anymore help in the first aid department. She worried about James though, hoping he would be able to push through and help the others. He hadn’t been doing very well after he had healed her. Maybe it had something to do with her dying first and him having to bring her back from that. Curiously she wondered what his limits were when it came to raising the dead, like how long they had to be dead for before it was useless.
Luna walked over to Colossus and Nightcrawler, since she didn’t have anything else to do, other than beg Veil to go take a shower, she thought talking would be in order. ”Nightcrawler, can we talk for a minute?” she glanced at Colossus, not minding if he stayed. He had been there after all and he seemed to know Nightcrawler well. She wasn't sure how well this conversation would go but now that Luna wasn't freaking out from being stabbed and trying to get out of Sinister's lair without blowing herself up, she was a little more level headed and ready to talk to Nightcrawler and see what had happened to him and why he had been compelled to stab her. Was it because of the drugs or was it something else.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Enteranceway-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden frowned, not fully sure he believed Quicksilver but it wasn’t his call. Veil walked in and he remembered his tasks. ”I’m not sure where Sapphire is. I’ll go look for her,” he told her, comfortable now with leaving since Veil was here to deal with the Brotherhood mutant. If he was working for the Brotherhood, why would he be delivering a message from Xavier, unless it was a trick. Cayden turned back and glared at Quicksilver before he heard Negasonic. She had come to the stairs, saying that Sapphire and Havok were dying and they needed James. James pushed off of Casper and headed that way but he was a bit unstable as he went.

Wait, did Veil say Quicksilver was with the X-Men? He’s with the X-Men? Since when?” Cayden asked in disbelief.

Sapphire came down the stairs, looking well a few moments later. The more people that joined him in the entranceway, made him feel slightly better about standing with an ex-Brotherhood guy. ”Apparently he’s here to deliver a message on Xavier’s behalf,” Cayden said, filling in Sapphire. ”How’s Havok?” he then asked, hoping everyone was okay other than being sleep deprived and hungry.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Chinese Place -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

”That’s what, not how. How do you do magic? How did you do that,” Cassiopeia pressed. Layla snatched the locket from her hand and Cassiopeia almost snatched it back but stopped herself. It wasn’t just hers and she wasn’t the only one trying to process everything. ”I think I need a beer,” she muttered. She looked over at Colby and Matthew. ”The Mad Hatter and the Cheshire cat? Wow, match made in heaven or what,” she muttered.
She looked back at Tink when she asked if they had more questions. ”Why were we sent here? Why are they in trouble now and we’re the ones who can supposedly save them?” Cassiopeia had a billion questions rolling around in her head, it was whatever tumbled out of her mouth first that would be answered. She leaned back into her own chair, leaning closer to her sister in a show of solidarity and plainly needing the comfort a person you’ve been with your entire life could give you.

Willow Jones

Location: The Diner ---> The Road
Skills:

Willow got out of the car as well, if only because the others did and she didn’t want to be left. ”We can exchange numbers as well Rose, maybe start a group chat. I should go home… I need to talk to my parents, well, adoptive parents I guess. Perhaps we can meet up later,” Willow suggested. She looked at the girls before walking over and hugged both of them before giving Rose her number.
She got back in her car, waved to them and then headed down the road for home. It still didn’t seem quite real to her but it was settling and she knew, deep down she knew that it was. You couldn’t explain away a man disappearing into a portal and the brutal honesty he was saying. Willow felt defeated as she drove, as well as lost and confused. She pulled into her driveway and shut the car off. Willow took another minute to brace herself before she walked inside to talk to her parents about what the hell just happened
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel’s mood was not helped by Demetri’s voice. One he agreed with him and that did not reassure Ezekiel in the least and then he insulted his bracelet. ”I believe you are the attention hog Demetri. Why don’t you ask Rebecca what the evil eye means on your journey hmm?” He turned away from Demetri, not caring for his drivel. He shook his head at Leda. ”Isn’t that what I said? Echidna is sending people after you and you jumped down my throat like caring about you or anyone’s well-being is a prideful thing. I’m not playing games Leda. I don’t mess with quests and with the safety of people. We all had to train from nothing,” Ezekiel said, feeling rather offended. He was a protector and he would do everything in his limited power to ensure Kristen and Janelle’s safety. He cared for people and their health. Had she so quickly forgotten this in her rage for him? Besides, Janelle was a quick learner and had a fierce determination. That was half the qualities of a demi-god anyways.
He looked over at Kristen when she mentioned it was time to go. Hallelujah. Chiron told them everything was in place and Ezekiel nodded and headed that way. The others started to get on the ship and he turned his head back to watch some of them. ”Apollo send light to guide them in the dark and knowledge to see them through,” Ezekiel muttered a prayer before he turned his head back and walked to the car. He shoved his headphones into his ears and turned on some music to drown out everything else.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Dining Room-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna looked down at her bloodied shirt and ran fingers over it. It was still wet and she could still feel the phantom pain of the sword sliding through her body. Thinking of it now was so surreal, did it even happen? She looked up when Veil started talking to Moonwalker about finding James and Sapphire to help with any healing. James, she needed to talk to him but she also needed to talk to Kurt. And a shower. Did she ever want a shower. ”If anyone needs assistance, I have first aid experience,” Luna offered, speaking to both Moonwalker and Veil. Unfortunately, the shower would have to wait and besides that, she would have to ask Veil if she could return to her hotel in order to do that and it didn’t seem appropriate at the moment. Not with all the people they just rescued needing assistance.
She looked over at Waverley when she started to freak out, saying the mutants they had just brought here were being tracked. Her eyes widened and she took a step forward, that was not what they needed right now. Seconds seemed like minutes but Waverley, coming out of her blitzed out state seemed to say she messed with the trackers and the transmitter. ”Perhaps we need to set up a watch. I’m not sure how sentimental Sinister is when it comes to his experiments but one can not be to careful,” Luna noted and looked at Veil for her take on the situation.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ - Dining Room ---> Enteranceway-- Washington D.C.
Skills:

As Moonwalker seemed to be more on the Marauders killing side of things, he hadn’t come across any of the mutants that had been trapped, so seeing them now was a bit of a shock. He looked them all over, taking each one in. He didn’t want to forget those faces, he didn’t want to forget what those people had done. Cayden was staring, thinking of the kids he knew back home when Veil’s voice pulled him back to reality. Help, right. ”On it,” Cayden said and marched off to find James. Sapphire didn’t seem to be around, come to think of it everyone in that group didn’t seem to be around. Where were they?
Cayden found James with Casper and Quicksilver. Cayden walked forward, standing next to Casper and frowned, temporarily forgetting his original task. ”Are you lost?” he blatantly asked Quicksilver. Cayden knew all about the Brotherhood and just what they thought about mutants and human interaction. What was this creature even doing in their home, how did he find it. Cayden's fingers twitched as he glared at the silver-haired man. Unfortunately, Cayden had no idea Quicksilver had turned over to the good side.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Galactus Ship - (Group 2) -- SPACE
Skills: Illusion Casting

It wasn’t that Antoinette wanted Lance to lose control, to lose himself, she just wanted him to be safe. Sure the suits had been designed for speed primarily but they also served as extra protection. The shell for a turtle if you will. If it wasn’t for the Iron Man suit when Antoinette hit her head, she probably would be in a worse situation right now. Antoinette looked at Elizabeth and Carolina, nodding slightly before the door to the next room was opened and they all ventured in.
Antoinette shuddered, seeing those awful creatures again. She had been in Maine when everything had happened in New York but she saw the news reports and the media. She didn’t have to be there to see the fear. Using her own fear, Antoinette mustered up a solid illusion of roughly 200 rats. They scurried around the others, wiggling their noses as they raced for the chitauri and climbed up a few of them. They started biting and gnawing on whatever they could in order to damage the creatures and weaken them. A few were even managing to squeeze their way under the suits to get to the flesh of the creatures. It wasn’t pretty and it was more violent that Antoinette was used to being but she had to protect her friends.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: The Dining Pavilion -- Camp Half-Blood

Ezekiel sighed, a bit annoyed by Janelle’s comment. ”Right, poor choice of words. Intuition then, did you feel like something was of significance? Just thought I would ask, more information is better than little to none.” Clearly he would have to be literal on this trip rather than just generalize everything. That was going to take some getting used to.
He looked over at Leda when she spoke up and he smirked, his eyes narrowing a bit. ”Why are you complaining Leda? Thought you would be happy I was leaving to go on a quest that I may not return from or are you upset because I made it through the last one and will probably make it through this one? Worry about your journey Leda and keep your opinion out of our quest. You have your own shit storm to deal with,” Ezekiel said bluntly. Sure it could be stated he was butting into theirs by letting them know their journey would be harder than ones in the past but he didn’t need someone placing doubt in his team, especially in Janelle who was new to this life and who happened to be blind on top of that. Ezekiel just had a poor way of saying things like that in a politically correct way, rather than the shithead way.
