Ezekiel smiled slightly as Janelle was honest about the magic thing and explaining a bit of her background. Irish, that was pretty cool and Ezekiel somehow refrained from saying any of the typical stereotypes. ”I am sorry about you parents,” he commented. His mother was his world. He didn’t know what he would do if she died. ”Your brother seems cool though. At least you’ve got each other still,” he commented. Although, her brother did seem a bit like a prick but then again what Ares kid wasn’t.
Ezekiel shot a glare at Kristin. ”For the love of Aphrodite Kristin, it’s Zeke, Ezekiel or shithead. Not Zekey,” he ground out. Apollo called him that and he absolutely detested the childish nickname. He settled back in his seat and refocused on Janelle. ”She is right though. I am the camp’s resident shithead so don’t be surprised if I say something unbecoming. Feel free to lash back, I find letting anger out a great way to decompress and I live to serve. Right little miss sunshine,” Ezekiel said to Kristin with a shit-eating grin on his face.
”Also, don’t worry about being who you truly are at camp, Janelle. I’m the only one who is judged and judges. We all come from different places and backgrounds and none of us are normal. We are demi-gods after all and that’s pretty messed up as it is.”

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Block from Hospital ---> Nearby Building -- New York City, New York
Skills:

As the group moved towards the subway, Antoinette noticed that the streets were starting to quiet down. Part of Antoinette felt relieved by that but another part of her worried. Was this just the calm before a second wave? There was often a second wave at these take over the world things. As they ran, Antoinette managed to get the group away from falling debris in the nick of time before Captain America passed them all. Antoinette waved cheerfully at him before making it to the Subway with the others. ”Stay here until one of us or the authorities come to get you. Stay together and stay safe,” Antoinette said, smiling at all of them before her visor covered her face again and she turned around.
Antoinette debated on going back to the hospital but she also hadn’t seen Carolina in a while and Mirembe was safe in the hospital. She located Carolina through the suit's GPS before launching forward with the help of the suit’s boosters and made it to Carolina in time to watch Captain America lift a pillar off of a woman who started to scream.
As she ran though, Antoinette noticed a shifting in the sky and a face looking down at them but it’s attention was on Stark Tower. It seemed the crew there had gotten through to Galactus and were now taking the fight to them. Hopefully, Carolina and her could get there in time to help them finish this.
At the moment though, Antoinette focused on her friend and the screaming woman. She dropped the visor and rushed to Carolina’s side to help her pull out the woman.

Ezekiel was switching songs on his iPod when the music got quieter and he looked over in time to see the baby put his headphone into his ear. "No! Don't do that!" He pulled the headphone back but it was a sloppy mess and probably useless now. Ezekiel unplugged his headphones. "Dammit," he cursed but kept the headphones from the kid. "Choking hazard," he told the brat. He didn't have any money on him to get new ones so he would have to call his mom or something. He hated doing that. Maybe he could work something out with Chiron and Mr. D instead.
"Ya, I guess since I got nothing to use now anyways," he said and shifted through his music again to find an appropriate driving song. He pressed play and leaded back in his seat and stared out the window as the song played. "Texas, here we come."

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground HQ -- First Floor: Training Room -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Luna frowned slightly at the mention of Max. Their last encounter hadn’t gone well and Luna would love to repay the favour to him one day. ”I could push him out of your head if you would like,” Luna offered to Veil. It seemed that wouldn’t be necessary though as a sealed envelope appeared in Veil’s hands. Luna’s frown deepened. She didn’t remember Max being quite this strong before. Just what exactly had he been up to at the Hellfire Club.
Most of the others had now joined them within the training room, which now seemed small with all of them crowded inside. Luna shuffled over, allowing more space but she kept her eyes on Veil, intrigued by what she was hearing in her head and what was in that letter. She did glance over at Sunshine, hearing her cry as she offered a similar option to Veil to get Max out of her head but the girl seemed like she did not want to hurt their leader in any way. Luna had some sympathy for her, hurting your own was not an ideal situation but everyone in the Underground needed to be protected still.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ -- Training Room -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden’s confusion didn’t seem to end when James mentioned that he only remembered up until the tenth of December. ”But you were here… I was helping you and Glimpse set up the generators and everything,” Cayden followed them into the training room and noticed Veil still on the ground but now Sapphire was beside her. It dawned on Cayden that Sapphire must have been there the entire time and that’s why the room had been so cold.
The room seemed tense and Cayden heard a few words from Veil that Max was inside her head, how was that even possible? Could he do that? Cayden just thought Max could conjure things and teleport. The confusion didn’t cease and then he heard Sunshine crying. James and Spark Plug moved forward to comfort the girl so Cayden hung back but his fingers were twitching at his side. He felt restless with the confused energy running through him as well as the energy of the room and started to fiddle with the leather throng tied around his wrist for his hair.

Ezekiel frowned at the kid when he threw his toy at his head but he didn't retaliate. The last thing he needed was an upset baby screaming in his ear. "And I don't like it when you talk at all Kristin and yet, here we are," he said smiling sweetly before putting in his headphones. He reached down and grabbed the inflatable club and handed it back to the kid. At the very least, it didn't hurt.
Ezekiel was a bit relieved when Leda mentioned they were short on time and explained another helpful thing her compass could do. It made sense in a way. Perhaps the child would be needed elsewhere. He just hoped they wouldn't have to take it all the way back to Camp Half-Blood because he knew how that would go. The girls would give him the responsibility of looking after the kid because they would think it 'humorous'. Ezekiel shifted in the backseat, already annoyed at something that had happened yet and kicked some of the junk out of his way. He held his pack securely on his lap.

Ezekiel smirked at the middle finger Kristin gave him and watched the Cyclopes burn alive. "Hmm, perhaps I am my father's son," he mused. With that taken care of, he walked back to the truck and fished out his pack and headed to the knew vehicle. Apparently that one was still drive-able. He didn't bother to comment on Leda's apology. Things happen and things always happen to demi-gods, it was literally apart of their life. "At least we live to fight another day," he said.
He opened up the back door and noticed the baby just as Leda commented on it. Ezekiel groaned. "I agree with the beach idea, even if it will prolong our journey more. I did not sign up for babysitting duty. No way, no how," Ezekiel shut the door and walked around to the other side to the free seat. Of course he was stuck in the back with a Cyclopes baby. "Leda, don't name it. That's how you get attached," Ezekiel said after he got into the vehicle.

Ezekiel looked at Kristin and frowned when she charged forward. "You know Kristin, sometimes people don't want help. Sometimes they want to figure it out on their own. Don't speak for Leda, let her speak for herself," he said annoyed at Kristin. It wasn't just Kristin he was annoyed with though. He was annoyed with the crash, the delay and yet another monster battle. They. Were. Running. Out. Of. Time. And his father was counting on him, the camp was counting on him. Who knew what the hell would happen and what Apollo's wrath would be if they didn't finish the mission. Gods weren't known to be nice.
He shifted his hand, pulling on the light surrounding them and concentrated it on the Cyclopes. He burst into flames but the bastard didn't die but he was pissed. Well, so was Ezekiel. "Anyone what to skewer the fool now?" His hand slipped into his pocket and held the sun medallion in his hand encase he needed to take the shot.

Ezekiel walked up to the gentleman, hoping he would calm a little bit when he saw it was just a bunch of kids. He looked pretty angry already but Ezekiel just help up his hands. "You okay? We got a first aid kit if you need it," Ezekiel offered. Behind him he heard Leda start to swear, her accent coming out strong and Ezekiel turned to see her coming at him with her sword. He dropped down and ducked out of the way. "The hell Leda?!" He watched her stab the man in his shoulder then miss an attack from him.
That was when he realized that they had crashed into a monster. Well of course, why the hell not. Ezekiel took a step back, ready to jump in if he needed to but he had a feeling Leda wanted to take this one on her own and get some of her anger out. "Just let me know if you need to tap out," Ezekiel said and just stood and watched this. If only they had a video camera.

Ezekiel smirked and winked at Rosie once she acknowledged the Iris Message. He liked to give her a hard time every once in awhile, as he did with everyone. "Going well? We already had two run ins with monsters," Ezekiel told Chiron. Ya, they handled it and were fine but lets not sugar coat things here. Ezekiel looked away from the rainbow and seeing camp to look back at his notebook when there was a sudden stop and the unmistakable crunch of metal and plastic.
Ezekiel was jolted forward but suffered no damage other than the sudden change of momentum. He shook his head, clearing his thoughts and groaned. "This is why we can't have nice things," he noted. He then heard crying and instantly went into healer mode. He leaned over the front console and looked at the girls. He saw it was Leda crying but he couldn't see any damage to her.
"Leda, Leda. It's okay. Breathe with me, okay? In through the nose, hold, out through the mouth. One more time," Ezekiel said, breathing with her a couple of times before he encouraged her to keep going and looked at Kristin. He could see a nasty gash on her head from where she hit but it was a clean bleed at least. "Here, don't move." Ezekiel placed his hand on her forehead and shut his eyes while his power coursed through him and into her wound. There was a bit of light from the work as well as a warming sensation as her wound cleaned and stitched itself back up. "If you have any nectar or ambrosia, have some of that if there's a headache," he said.
He looked back at Leda a moment and smiled before squeezing her shoulder and jumped out of the back of the truck to go and confront the driver they had just ran into. Maybe if the driver saw that they were kids, they wouldn't be as upset and may drive them to the nearest gas station or something. That is, if the truck was no longer road worthy and they couldn't do it themselves. Still, they wouldn't be able to go all the way to Texas with it. A smashed in front in would probably be a red flag to any passing highway cop.

Ezekiel watched the Harpy that was bothering Kristin drop from the sky and looked at Janelle. ”Daughter of Hypnos, sleep, cool. Remind me not to piss you off,” he noted. He watched Kristin kill the last one before he was grabbed and they were hauled onto the bus. Now, hopefully they wouldn’t get stranded like last time.
He settled into a seat near the girls and shut his eyes for a moment. He had managed to reclaim his pen but left his discarded chips to the seagulls. He still had a few cookies and his pop to last him so that was good enough. Ezekiel was used to going with a little less on these trips anyways. It was a bit of religious rite in that sense.
Ezekiel looked over at Janelle, opening his eyes as Kristin explained the power thing. ”I can manipulate sunlight and can heal. Back at camp I mainly work in the infirmary at the Big House,” he briefly explained. ”Where is your accent from?” He hadn’t heard too many different accents in his lifetime.
