Ezekiel Kel

Location: Wendy's ---> On The Road Again-- Atlanta, Georgia
Skills:

Ezekiel wasn't sure how he felt about them all charging in there, he thought they should have some advantage on their side but he was outnumbered and refrained from starting another fight. "I supposed I could challenge him. I might be able to find a guitar or the kidnapper might be able to provide one," he said with slight humor. He watched the world pass outside as Leda drove much more cautiously. He found it a bit amusing but as he didn't drive, he didn't comment.
They were still a few hours from Houston but Ezekiel was starting to grow fidgety in the anticipation. He drummed his fingers on his leg, the seat beside him and along the door. Trying to keep himself distracted and calm. "So, is there anyone at camp you guys hate more than me?" He asked curiously.

Ezekiel smirked and nodded. ”Yes, definitely not a friendly Centaur and I think these ones will give us more than detention if we act out,” he joked poorly. He turned and took the arrow back from Janelle and replaced it with the regular one on his bow. He stepped forward, taking a stance and took aim at the Centaur who revealed himself again. ”I swear if I’m about to kill Chiron’s cousin or something,” he muttered before taking a deep breath and released the arrow. It hit its mark but didn’t take the Centaur down. This fight wasn’t going to be an easy one. ”Don’t take unnecessary risks,” Ezekiel found himself saying to them all.
He notched another arrow and took aim again. ”Cover your ears.” The sound would travel away from them but initially, the sonic boom of the arrows would be loud and he assumed Janelle would be more sensitive due to her heightened hearing.
Before he could get a shot off though, two more Centaurs came out of the trees and fired. Both arrows hit their mark, one in Ezekiel’s shoulder and the other in his thigh. He sucked in a breath, initially only feeling the impact and then the pain spread through him and he hissed, cursing a series of brilliant swear words. Even a few British ones that would make Leda proud. ”Turns out they have good aim,” he told Kristin through gritted teeth. The arrow in his thigh would be manageable but the one in his shoulder was going to prove difficult when it came to firing arrows. All the same, Ezekiel seemed to be coping with the pain. Thanks the gods for pain tolerance and adrenaline.
He picked up his bow and took aim, breathing through the pain and relying solely on the adrenaline pumping through him. He released the sonic arrow, listening to it screech through the air until it silenced when it hit its intended target and the first Centaur fell to the ground, dead. He dropped his bow arm down to give it a rest. ”I’ll cover you from here as much as I can but I don’t know how stable I can keep.” He couldn’t move much with the arrow in his thigh and until he had time to assess the damage, he wasn’t going to pull it out and risk bleeding out.
Children of Apollo with the healing factor were great in a fight. For others but they couldn’t heal themselves.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Warehouse -- Wichita, Kansas
Skills:

Cassiopeia watched the girl get handed a jewelry box, spotting a place to insert the key and moved to try and get a better look at what would happen when the key was inserted but she became distracted by the gruff, rogish looking man. She looked him up and down, he seemed to give off the vibe of power but he didn’t look like the wizard Merlin but then again, Disney’s interpretation was always more fluff than truth. Cassiopeia followed her sister but eyed Merlin. ”What about our parents meeting us again? When do we get to meet them?” She pushed past the niceties of small talk and got right down to business.
Each step the sisters took was a step closer to knowing their family history and getting some real answers. Cassiopeia was growing more curious and impatient by the minute. How many more people would they have to wait for or would they be leaving in stages. There were too many questions and not enough answers.

Willow Jones

Location: Warehouse
Skills:

Willow sat down at the side table with her jewelry box and looked it over very carefully. It was beautiful and well made, that much she could see but it was also an antique. A family heirloom perhaps. Willow took a breath and inserted the key. The box opened easily, not showing its age in the least. Willow tucked the key back around her neck before opening the box. She stared at its contents for a moment, taking it in. Inside there was a picture of a woman and a picture of Willow as a baby. She only knew this because of looking at many of her baby photos that her adoptive mother took. Willow started to silently cry, knowing that the woman was her mother and she marveled at how beautiful she looked and slowly pieced the similarities between the two of them together. What else did they share, she wondered.
Willow set the pictures aside and found another note, with what looked to be Willow’s true name: Willow Figlia di Aurora. Along with the words: ”Trust in Merlin, he will keep you safe." Willow held the note, reading the words and her name before looking at the picture of her mother again. Aurora... Could that mean her mother was Sleeping Beauty?
She became aware of others in the room now and shut everything back into the box and turned her attention to the room. Two other women seemed to have entered and the one was already questioning Merlin. She looked over at Annabelle and stood, carrying her jewelry box close and stood with her friend. Willow hoped her mother was alright, she had the crushing sensation that she wasn’t.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Old Mutant Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy; Strategy

The connection with James faded and Luna relaxed a bit, feeling better when Veil made the call that time was up and they had to leave. She hadn’t even realized they had been there for two hours. Between meeting Veil’s twin brother and the back and forth between everyone and Max, it was no surprise time seemed to get away from them. Not to mention the telepathic development within her. She looked at Max one more time before she turned around and walked away. She wasn’t entirely sure there was anymore that needed to be said or that she wanted to say. She was about to climb into the very back of the van when Max freaked and dropped a dome over them. Luna paused and looked over at Veil and the others. She could see that Veil had already cloaked them in preparation to leave but Max was in full on implosion mode. Her first instinct was to scream back at him and punch him. Why the hell would he think they had taken Leighton when he was the one who brought them here by connecting Veil with Leighton and him? There was one way to get some answers and so Luna walked around the Van and jumped into Max’s mind.
She felt the intense emotions and fear that Spark Plug was manipulating within him and then heard his thought that The Underground had taken Leighton as hostage. Miscommunication was a strong thing right now and Luna could tell Max was unstable and unpredictable. Anyone probably could at this point.
Luna walked back to the front of the van, knowing Max couldn’t see her movements and whispered to Veil. ”He thinks we took Leighton hostage and Spark Plug is dancing around with his emotional state, which I suggest you stop,” Luna said towards Spark Plug so she could hear.
Luna moved away from the van again and took a few calculated steps before she fell into a relaxed stance, easy for running or for a more acrobatic approach which she was also trained in. ”Warlock. We don’t know where Leighton is, just as we don’t know where the innocent is but if Leighton was charged with bringing the innocent back to the Hellfire club, they may be monitoring her, especially if the innocent is important.”
Luna was poised for a physical take down and was steadily moving closer to Max but if he regained control of his emotions, maybe he would see sense before she would have to take him down. She saw a physical takedown being the best option under the volatile circumstances. Verbal communication may be the last thing he wanted after two hours of going in circles and the manipulation of his mind.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ -- Entranceway ---> Bedrooms -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Empathy;

Cayden smiled a little at that and nodded. ”That is the understatement of the year my friend.” Cayden didn’t think he had been so confused in his whole life. Even after the first time he dreamwalked. Casper joined them out in the entranceway and Cayden got a wave of unease and discomfort coming from Casper. Possibly fear as well but Cayden wasn’t completely sure. Before he could ask about his friend, Casper spoke of Jack being Sunshine’s father in the other reality. And the confusion train just kept on rolling. ”Wait, what? What the hell happened over there?!” This other reality had to be some ride and why didn’t Cayden remember any of it?
He looked back at the Training Room, seeing Jack and Sunshine but followed the other two upstairs. James was probably right about giving them space because as Cayden saw from the stocks, Jack was way too young to possibly father a child. He scrubbed his hands over his face as they walked and drew them through his hair when James spoke again. Now Luna was contacting James? He frowned. ”It has been two hours or so since they’ve been gone… Hopefully they are on their way back now. There are ways to keep certain things out of a telepath’s eye,” Cayden noted. ”When I dreamwalk, there are all sorts of doors, I guess you could say that I’ll need to knock down. Dreaming of course is a bit easier to navigate but sometimes you get an overactive subconscious that chases after you,” he said with a chuckle.
Cayden smiled warmly at the two of them and rested a hand on Casper’s shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. Empathy was kind of like mind reading but instead of thoughts, it was emotions which were sometimes more evasive. Especially if the empath knew the person they were reading well enough. Cayden didn’t say anything or ask Casper what was wrong. Casper would talk if he needed to and Cayden had to trust that he would talk rather than use.
”In the meantime, you could tell me more about this other world.” He couldn’t help the curiosity. ”Like how you of all people, ended up in a palace,” Cayden teased Casper and punched his shoulder playfully.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills:

Antoinette smiled a little at Lance’s response and the idea of having fun. ”I’ve never been to a wedding before,” she said, sitting down. ”It seems to be quite eccentric. Everyone having their own brand of fun.” She watched the people move and had to admit, Lance had a good vantage point over here to watch the inner workings of a party. ”This is an excellent place to observe such a thing but I do find partaking in the events to be much more educational. How about a dance then? Just one and then we will leave you to your observations,” Antoinette suggested, looking over at Lance.
The atmosphere of the event was a rather powerful one and nearly intoxicating itself. Antoinette wasn’t sure how much drinking would occur tonight but perhaps there wouldn’t be a need for a lot with everyone feeding off of each other. She stood back up, taking Carolina’s hand before offering her’s out to Lance, hoping he would join them but knew she couldn’t force him into it. Lance was a friend to Antoinette and when Wanda changed the world, a lot of things changed within the both of them. What used to be more for Antoinette, faded into the lighthearted way of friendship and Antoinette felt much more relaxed around Lance then in the past.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Wendy's -- Atlanta, Georgia
Skills:

Ezekiel blinked in shock when Leda unleashed on him. He remained silent, eyes hard as he stared her down while she vented all of the gods flaws onto him. If he got her riled up and ready to fight, Ezekiel would take the shit she threw at him and gladly clean it up. Honestly, he was fine with this. He got to see some raw emotion come out of Leda, some truth rather than that sarcastic bullshit they all hid behind.
He gave both girls some space before he followed them out, masking the smirk on his face before he got back into the vehicle. Ezekiel wasn't going to reply back, he didn't need to. They all knew the gods were bad news, assholes and cared for no one but themselves. Ezekiel pushed the bounds of that every day by insulting them and not praising them as the others did. Ezekiel liked to think it was his own mode of survival. He was entertaining and reckless but he knew as soon as the gods got bored or any one of the demi-gods proved to be useless, they would be gone.
Ezekiel climbed into the backseat and waited another moment before speaking. "So, I guess I'll head into the comedy club first, find Marsyas and keep him distracted while you two wait outside. How should I signal for you to head in and get Calliope?"

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Old Mutant Underground HQ -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy -- Scanning; Communication

Luna was still reeling from feeling James in her head and then he responded to her. She shut her eyes for a moment, feeling overwhelmed and confused but the connection was so clear between the two of them. ”I… I don’t know. The last time I was able to connect with someone like this was the first time I nearly died and I reached out for my father…” She was genuinely confused about this as she did actively try not to invade people’s minds and she hadn't even been thinking about James. ”Maybe we can talk when we get back. We should almost be done here. James, I’m sorry.” Luna ended the connection after apologizing. She hoped she didn’t just lose another friend because of what she was.
Luna looked up and heard Max still pushing to bring back Waverely’s mom. It didn’t sound like he was going to win this one though, unless he just went ahead and tried it himself. Luna shook her head, ready to get out of here now with the weight of her recent development on her shoulders. ”What happens if it fails Max and we have to kill her mother all over again? What then? Just because we have the ability to, doesn't mean we should.” Luna did not like the idea of playing with the dead at all.

Cayden Proudstar - Moonwalker

Location: Mutant Underground HQ -- Training Room ---> Medical Room ---> Outside Training Room -- Washington D.C.
Skills:

Cayden felt sad when Ben disappeared but it was for the best at the moment. Capser needed the break and Sunshine needed the space. Still, he liked Ben and hoped he would get to see him soon. Snide remarks and all. Cayden looked at the phone Jack showed him and frowned. Why would a kid be buying stocks? ”Oh! Does this have something to do with that alternate world you guys are talking about?” Jack pulled Casper away and started talking to him in French, that much Cayden knew but beyond that was nothing. ”I’ll just go find some tissues,” Cayden said and slipped off to go and find Casper something.
As he left, he passed Sunshine but didn’t see James with her. He gave Sunshine a polite grin all the same before he raced up the steps, taking them two at a time and made his way through public spaces to try and find tissues. He finally found some in their medical room and made his way back as quickly as he could manage. Cayden hummed a little tune to himself, the Pirates of the Carribean theme, as he made his way back to the Training Room. He came across James this time, who was nearly there himself but he seemed deep in thought. ”You alright there James?”

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Pietro & Guin’s Wedding Reception
Skills: Enhanced Intuition

Antoinette nodded in agreement with Carolina. Those two would soon be bombarded with well wishers and they had gotten Guin all to themselves for a fair bit of the time, being a part of the wedding party and all. Antoinette was watching guests mingle and people drink too much and dance like no one was watching. It was a beautiful thing to behold and Antoinette was suddenly inspired by the idea for a painting.
She followed Carolina’s lead over to Lance, who was standing by himself for the time being and Antoinette gave a small wave once they were near him. ”Would you like a drink, water or perhaps something else?” Antoinette offered. Antoinette’s blue eye started to glow faintly, out of habit more than anything as she tried to gage if Lance wanted to be left alone or not. Some people just prefered their own company at large gatherings like these. It could become a bit overwhelming, even when among friends. From what she could gather though, he didn’t mind the two of them, or a small gathering, just not the large gathering like Antoinette had assumed.
Ezekiel Kel

Location: Wendy's -- Atlanta, Georgia

Ezekiel glared at Kristin and rubbed his shin when she kicked him. That was a little over the top in his opinion but what was done was done. He was a little frustrated that Artemis couldn't give him any more information on Marsyas but Ezekiel didn't think it would be too hard to think of things to annoy him. Ezekiel was good at annoying people. He looked at Leda when she yelled at him and he rolled his eyes. "Excuse me if I am not inclined to kiss ass with them all of the time. I give them a portion of my meals and I go on their ridiculous quests that always end in someone being killed or injured so I think that is plenty," he said and stood annoyed, going to the washroom before returning.
Ezekiel wasn't sure if Artemis actually liked him or if it was because her brother placed him on the quest and apparently without him, the girls wouldn't have a chance of getting Calliope out. He walked back to them, shifting his pack to the other shoulder. "Let's get this show on the road. Are you ready to drive Leda or are you still swooning over Artemis." Ezekiel was now in a mood and didn't feel like sitting around here anymore, counting down the minutes before the title fight.

Ezekiel grinned, pleased that Artemis seemed to deem his tattoo concept acceptable. He wasn't sure what drew him to needing her approval but he appreciated and valued it all the same. He didn't see it as being a kiss ass but simply asking for advice. At least Ezekiel's temperament hadn't changed when meeting his Aunt. If he was going to be an ass, he was going to be a ass, if he was to be nice, he would be nice. It didn't matter who it was, it only revolved around how Ezekiel was feeling. Ezekiel put the drawing back into his poetry book and stowed it away in his pack. He watched the girls dig into their food savagely and he smirked. And that is why he didn't wait.
"Ah, so I'll be the bait. Lovely. Still want to keep praising the gods and goddess and saying they are all that and a bag of chips?" He looked at Leda and Kristin with accusing eyes. Apollo had sent Ezekiel to be bait, knowing that Ezekiel would probably get Marsyas going enough to distract him from Calliope so the girls could get her out and to safety. Ezekiel would be lucky if he didn't die or get seriously injured on this trip.
"Alright, I'll play along. What annoys Marsyas or puts him on edge Artemis?" He needed some type of ammunition to beat this guy, words seemed like a good bet. Apollo was also the god of poetry, hopefully that would aid him.
