Antoinette looked to Mary when she addressed her in regards to her thoughts on the riddle. Possibly. Loki would want to keep them separated, keep them weak and worried for their other teammates. It would throw them off their game. Antoinette puzzled over the riddle, while she stayed next to Neil, understanding why he was quiet and didn’t reply to her. He had expelled a lot of energy and needed time with that and with the worry of Carolina.
A strange mist rolled into the hanger before a woman appeared from it and threw a knife at Iris. Antoinette shifted when Neil tried to move and use his power, he cried out as it backfired and Antoinette quickly finished stepping in front of Neil, blocking him from harm. He was too drained and he needed time to recover.
Antoinette didn’t quite recognize the woman until they all started talking about her and Guin mentioned her name as Klara and another woman Runa being trapped with Carolina and Elizabeth. Antoinette’s blue eye started to glow while Edus attempted to contain her for them.
”That won’t work,” Antoinette said to her friend and teammate. ”She was there when we battled Magneto in the alternate universe. She was adept in magic then. She still might be, on top of her sword fighting.” Antoinette’s knowledge about recognizing Runa’s name she kept to herself as Runa was not here at the moment.

Ezekiel looked back at the bathroom quickly when Kristin walked out, carrying the unconscious girl who had been following them and set her on a bench. Ezekiel looked around them but no one seemed to be paying attention to them. ”What? You girls clearly had it handled. If I ran in there, guns blazing, you’d be upset I didn’t give you two a chance,” Ezekiel defended.
He watched Kristin check her pockets and then noticed Kristin was injured. ”Do you want me to look at that for you?” They should probably save the nectar and ambroise for more serious injuries, Ezekiel was thinking. He looked back at what Kristin had found and it happened to be a few items that looked like herbs. He took them from Kristin, examining them and trying to discern what they were. He sniffed them and was about to pull out his notebook to see if he had them written down or drawn out somewhere.
”These are typically used in poisons or potions rather than teas or as is. It depends on the combination or amounts they are used to determine which they would be,” Ezekiel offered. He slipped the herbs into a bag before he kept them in his satchel. ”What are we going to do about her,” he asked, nodding to the unconscious girl.

Cassiopeia walked a little, glancing around the tower but didn’t have much interest in the old building. The books were cool but she wanted to search the forest more than this tower. She watched Rose walk over and grab a book, flipping through it. Cassiopeia knew Rose pretty well so noticed her tone change right away. Cassiopeia walked over and looked into the book, seeing various names. Names that she recognized to be their parents' names and Rose’s parent was set to be executed. Cassiopeia put her finger on the page and scanned for her father's name.
Tink spoke up and Cassiopeia looked over before finding her father’s name to see a doorway leading down into a tunnel. She supposed it would be safer than traveling on the road but Tink mentioned different tunnels on the way. She wondered if anyone else knew about those tunnels too. Cassiopeia looked back at the book and Rose. Until Merlin spoke, there wasn’t anything Cassiopeia could say.

Willow ran her fingers over the spines of a few books as she passed them. She didn’t recognize any of the titles she could make out but she did find a few interesting. She didn’t remove anything though encase the tower was boobytrapped or the removal of a book would open up a hidden passageway. She looked over when she heard the skull hit the ground and then watched the puppy squirm in Rosaila’s arms. Willow smiled at the cute puppy, she missed her dog now. ”What’s its name?” Willow asked Rosalia.
Willow turned her head when she heard anger and watched Rose confront Merlin over something that she had read in a book. Willow looked curious at the two of them but didn’t approach. There were already a few people around Rose so she wasn’t going to crowd the woman she didn’t know when her emotions were already high.

Luna had eventually gotten to bed, although she had no recollection of how she made it there. She did remember hearing her father's voice and the sound of roaring before Negasonic had the phone and was asking for help. Luna also remembered asking to come. Clearly that hadn’t happened.
Luna was laying in her bed the next morning, staring up at the ceiling as she listened to Callie sleep. Both of them had been up several times through the night while their symptoms leveled off from severe. Luna’s whole body ached, her stomach more so. She was hungry but everytime she thought of food, her stomach would roll. There was nothing left in her system so she couldn’t throw up anymore and she was now over tired from the lack of sleep and food that she couldn’t sleep. Not to mention the lack of oxygen from having to breathe so shallowly.
Suddenly there was screaming outside their door and she recognized it as Waverley’s screams. Luna turned her head the other way and shut her eyes. She wasn’t ready for the day, she wasn’t ready for screaming at nine in the morning. She wasn’t ready for another rollercoaster day of symptoms changing from the disease. Luna felt weak, tired and helpless. Useless.
She turned her blood shot eyes back to Callie’s side of the room when the door opened and Callie left their room. She could just make out Callie’s words but not enough to fully understand. Luna slowly sat herself up, she couldn’t lay in bed all day even if she begged to. Her condition wasn’t severe now, she could help some maybe. Luna had to sit on the edge of her bed for a moment while the wave of dizziness passed.

Luna looked over when she felt pressure on her back and recognized James. She smiled tiredly at him and tried to grab onto his pant leg but he was already gone. How rude. Luna pouted as she watched James walk away. James was her friend and he was normally very concerned with her but as Luna looked around and tried to listen, there was a lot to be concerned about. Still, that didn't stop her from puking up more blood. Tears started to fall from the horrid feeling and pain of it all.
Negasonic pulled her from her pity and she lit up at being asked if she needed anything. "Take me with you! I've worked with Excalibur before and my dad. My dad says he's working on a cure too. Maybe I can help. Oh please oh please take me with you," Luna pleaded. She missed her parents, more so than ever and James' touch had been comforting but it reminded her of her mom now. Besides, if Luna got away from this place, perhaps she could be useful rather than a burden.

The spiders just kept coming at the group. Antoinette couldn't figure out where they were coming from but this entire game was like a giant magic trick. It was Loki after all. Lance seemed to have created some sort of barrier for them but that didn't help the spider bites most of the X-Men already had. Lance included.
Antoinette looked at Neil, seeing how defeated he looked from the spiders and not being able to vanquish them all. Antoinette had a feeling a lot of the emotion had to do with Carolina missing as well. Before Antoinette could walk over to Neil, Bethany returned and took the rest of them to the hanger. Lance was still unaccounted for but he was rather large and green at the moment. "Perhaps he will be able to break out of the Danger room." Stranger things had happened.
Antoinette walked over to Neil now and rested a hand on the side of his arm. "She is strong. We will get her back," Antoinette said confidentially. She had to have hope. This game was trying to rid them of their fight and hope but Antoinette wasn't going to let it.
The dice were rolled again and Antoinette turned to see what the outcome was. It was a seven. No Carolina yet. The riddle was interesting though and Antoinette took a moment to ponder it. She was hooked on the word jungle. "Perhaps we are about to enter the jungle as well?"

Ezekiel rolled his eyes and watched the girls walk off the bathrooms. He wasn’t going to get harassed for going into the girls washroom and standing there like a creep. Still, he walked slowly after them, taking his time and kept looking around. The girls disappeared into the bathroom and he was left outside, wondering and waiting. They should get some sort of message system for things like this. Iris' message wasn’t always reliable and it took a few seconds too long to find a water source, create a rainbow and throw in a drachma.
He slipped his hands into his pockets and wandered back and forth by the bathrooms, looking over at the bus schedule every now and then to keep track of the time. He glanced at the girls washroom for one moment, hoping everything was going well and not too concerning. But then again, when was anything in their lives just so. Ezekiel decided to wait for a few more minutes and if they didn't come out, he would suck it up and put up with the harassment and try to get into the washroom.

Cassiopeia watched the army close in on the road, she never dropped her bow and arrow, tracking the soldiers as they walked by. It seemed like a rather large group to just be on patrol. Then again, Cassiopeia didn’t know how it was done there.
She hopped up onto the road when Merlin went to check. She kept her bow up, looking this way and that before they started to move again. Cassiopeia dropped her bow but kept the arrow notched and walked with the bow resting in front of her, just in case she needed it quickly. She stayed close to her sister and Rose.
Once they reached the inside of the tower, Cassiopeia finally relaxed. She put the arrow and the bow away, looking around the tower. It was a decent size but not used. ”Been awhile since you’ve been home, Merlin?” she asked curiously.

Oh, the blue fairy from Pinocchio. Willow felt silly for not realizing that sooner. She couldn’t remember the fairy too clearly but that didn’t matter at the moment. Willow covered her mouth, keeping as silent as she could as the army passed by. They looked rather intimidating, even in the dark and the safety of the ditch. Willow hoped they didn’t come across them again.
They made their way back onto the road and to Merlin’s quickly. Willow sighed as the tower came into view. She walked in with the others, coming to similar conclusions of it needing work and not having been used in awhile. Still, it was a safe space to be for right now. And they would be meeting their parents here. The idea started to excite Willow and she walked around the tower to burn off a bit of energy.

Luna was already sitting down so at least that she could do for her father. She heard a roar over the request of her dad asking her to drink some water and her eyes widened. ”Daddy, are you fighting a dragon!? That’s so dangerous! Are you winning? Is mama there?” Luna had completely reverted back to childhood it seemed and it would be quite entertaining for Negasonic if it wasn’t already.
Luna looked up at the girl with amazing hair and smiled at her. Blood continued to drip from her ears and then she got an awful tightening in her stomach. ”Daddy… I think I’m going to be sick,” she said and handed the phone to Negasonic before she grabbed the trash can that was still there from earlier and vomited blood into the bucket. Luna was about ready to pass out from the loss of blood and enhanced emotions she was feeling.

The spiders kept coming, there seemed to be no end in sight and Antoinette wasn’t sure how they were going to beat this. Bethany started taking a couple of them out of the room, suggesting the hanger but she couldn’t get everyone as they were all being attacked by spiders. Antoinette got bit by two before she managed to blast ten away, using her pyrokinetic power. They died from her colourful sparks but that didn’t even make a dent in the swarm that was coming. Other than the uncomfortable swelling and pain, Antoinette was happy her pyrokinetic power worked.
Bethany disappeared with a couple people and then a few of them started killing more spiders. Neil and Ed, Guin with her lasers. And Lance, as his large green self. At least she was given some ideas to cast an illusion. Antoinette concentrated on the image of scorpions, trying to create some that would be real enough to attack the spiders. Her purple eye glowed in earnest but nothing happened. She had either strained herself too much or the spiders bites were taking their toll. At least she hoped it was that and not fear from the spiders. She wasn’t normally scared of spiders but these were rather large and they kept coming at everyone.
