Ezekiel relaxed when Kristin knocked her out but frowned still. Now what they were supposed to do. He looked at Janelle, feeling bad for a moment that he hadn’t explained to her but in his defense, Ezekiel had been a bit preoccupied. He settled in his seat, looking at the unconscious girl. At least the only knives he had to worry about now was Kristin’s verbal knives. He searched in his bag for something to drink while Kristin produced an idea.
”That’s not a bad idea. Plus, it gives you a chance to try out your power Janelle. And keeps us from getting stabbed,” he said. Ezekiel had some water he brought from camp that he sipped before putting it back into his bag. At least the girl was already knocked out, it should be easy for Janelle to get into the girls mind now, Ezekiel just didn’t know how that happened. He looked at Janelle. ”It might seem weird but you probably already know what you need to do. Kind of like when you started fighting for the first time. In the beginning, our abilities just kind of take over, until we learn control,” he said.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: The Lake
Skills:

Cassiopeia looked at Matthew who spoke to her sister and gave her a look that would make most people turn and back down. Cassiopeia wasn’t most people. She stepped up to Matthew. ”I would hardly call touching something that he was told not to touch a mistake. He knew what he was doing, he wanted to touch it and see what would happen, as Colby said and if you ever, look at my sister that way again, walking skeletons will be the least of your worries,” Cassiopeia stated. Her voice was steady and calm but there was no room for argument. It had been her and her twin for their entire lives, when others walked in and walked out because they were too hard to raise or they fell down the rabbit hole with Alice and whatever their drug of choice was, it was just them looking after each other. No one looked at her sister that way, no one spoke to her sister that way.
The miracle of Megan pulling a sword out of a stone that Cassiopeia knew enough to be excalibur from stories was overshadowed by the girl with the dog unleashing herself onto Colby. Cassiopeia stepped back with her sister and stood with Rose again. Colby was going to be the troublemaker of the group, even Rose agreed with Cassiopeia on that notion but every one of them had their thing and Cassiopeia’s was being the protector. If Matthew had done it to Rose, she would have done something similar.

Willow Jones

Location: The Lake
Skills:

Willow had become fascinated with the lake as they neared it. Once they were on the water's edge, a woman appeared. Willow’s eyes widened as the woman approached a rock with a sword. She spoke kindly to Merlin and he in return before the Lady of the Lake put the sword into the stone. Sierra spoke to her and Willow shrugged. ”Perhaps we should try,” Willow said and smiled at Sierra. Before they could though, Willow Megan approached the stone. The woman had seemed a little strange to Willow, her complete opposite in fact. Where Willow was all colour and bright, Megan was dark tones and the darker aspects of life. Megan pulled the sword out, without much effort it looked like and the sword started to glow.
Willow stepped a bit closer, eyeing the markings before she heard an outburst and turned her head, watching Rosalia walk up to Colby and try to push him into the lake. Willow winched when she mentioned Colby deserving to die. No one deserved to die, she thought but she agreed that what Colby did hadn’t been smart, especially when he had been told not to.

Antoinette McCarthy

Location: Blackbird Hanger
Skills:

Antoinette took Edus’s hand in relief as he managed to shift the shields into a sort of platform that they could walk across. She smiled at her partner and turned in time to watch Guin roll an eight. Shortly after, Carolina and Elizabeth came tumbling back into the room. Antoinette beamed. ”Lina! Oh thank goodness! What happened there?” She turned her attention to Elizabeth, seeing her injured and walked over. ”Do you need an extra hand?” Iris had also walked over to Elizabeth but Iris didn’t look like she was doing well either. She walked through a door and slammed it shut but before doing so, Antoinette could see the smoke rising off her hands.
As Antoinette offered to help Elizabeth, the roll Guin had made was starting to come to and a tornado formed before them. It was only there for half a minute before Pietro tried his hand at stopping it but got slammed back into the wall. Antoinette gasped, covering her mouth and listened to Guin call out for Edus to help them.
Shortly after that the tornado disappeared and Antoinette saw that Neil had saved them from it. She smiled softly at Neil, wanting to congratulate him but was waiting for Pietro. He didn’t seem to be moving and Antoinette was worried of the extent to which he was injured.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground Medical ---> Outside -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy

Luna tried to connect with James again and managed to open her connection with him. She sighed in relief before she spoke to him. ”Don’t get mad. I saw Magneto is here. Is there anything I can do?” She shifted her weight again, trying to ignore the way her breathing hitched so easily from the little movement. She pushed herself up to her feet and grabbed into the door and walked out of the room on shaky legs. She still hadn’t been able to keep anything down in days so the ability to keep herself standing was a miracle.
As Luna made her way into the hallway, she heard voices of the others and saw that a bit of a group was gathering. Luna had her mission though and didn’t deviate as she struggled, weak limbs and all to the door that would take her outside. She stumbled forward before falling to her hands and knees beside James. She was breathing shallowly and the world was spinning but she could see a few people come into focus occasionally. Luna didn’t know why she pushed herself to get out here, all she was going to be was a liability but she didn’t want to stand by and be useless.
”What’s… going… on….” It took too much effort to get three words out and Luna wasn’t even sure if it had been audible.

Ezekiel was pleased that Janelle followed along with his tactic. He was hoping to goad the girl into revealing more information. Kristin piped up about his dad and them giving him a call which did cause Ezekiel to glare at her a little in return. ”Why are you so obsessed with my name,” he countered. Ezekiel wouldn’t get to respond again because whatever the girl had been muttering, allowed her to produce a dagger, which was now pushing uncomfortably into his throat and he was secured by her arm. He might have been able to get her off with force but that probably would cause a scene on the bus and they would stop again.
Kristin shifted her weight and the point of the dagger pressed in more. Ezekiel glared at Kristin. ”You did that on purpose,” he choked out. In the meantime, Ezekiel had opened his hand, calling the light to him to try and blind the daughter of Circe. It failed him the first time but after a slight delay, the light came to him and he managed to blind the girl.
After that, Ezekiel shifted, attempting to get the dagger from the girl. He struggled with her for a moment, cursing and yanked it from her before he turned it on her. ”Alright, no more mister nice guy. What is your mother doing with Echinda. Tell us what we want to know and we’ll release you and isn’t that what you really want? To tell us what you know and leave us to our fate,” Ezekiel said, attempting to persuade her.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Catacombs ---> Outside
Skills:

Cassiopeia watched her sister move a book on the shelf and smirked when it moved and revealed hidden stairs. ”Well of course,” she said and followed her sister up the stairs. ”I wouldn’t count on that. He’s rather mischievous it seems. Likes to push the giant red button that says don’t push.” Cassiopeia would often want to know what the red button would do but that didn’t mean it always needed to be pushed.
They reached the surface again and found themselves in the woods. Cassiopeia shivered a little as she adjusted to the change in temperature again. She noticed the lake in the distance but didn’t know much about it. Rose spoke to her and Cassiopeia smiled. ”Of course. I got your back and you got mine,” she said with a wink. Cassiopeia turned her attention to Megan when she mentioned the lake and a connection to Excalibur. Huh, this world really did hold everything. She wondered how they were all connected. It wasn’t like that was mentioned in Disney.

Willow relaxed when Sierra smiled at her in return and said it was okay. With the door to the catacombs behind them closed, Willow felt a little more secure. That was until another door was opened and they all shuffled through. She sighed a little, following along. She wondered if her heart was ever going to stop pounding outside of her chest. Willow stayed near Sierra, walking up the steps and into the open sky again.
Willow looked around, all recognizing trees and a lake but she assumed they were far from Merlin’s tower now. She shifted her bag on her shoulders and looked around at the others as they all came up from underground. Being in the open felt less claustrophobic and hopefully there were less skeletons that could come alive and attack them.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Mutant Underground Medical -- Washington D.C.
Skills: Telepathy

At least M-pox hadn’t taken away everything from the mutants. Luna could still access her memories and have feelings and sensations. It might just have enhanced them or taken away the ability to block certain things out. Whichever it was, Callie was still very present in Luna’s mind when the metal in the Medical room started to rise. Which was a lot, bed included. Luna looked around alarmed and scrambled to the edge of the bed. She hit the floor and groaned, rolling over and stared at the floating metal objects. Vaguely, Luna knew of Polaris being at the Underground now. Did she contract M-pox and now her power was out of control? Luna wasn’t sure but she did manage to get herself to the door and investigated the hallway. No one was around, not even James.
Luna huffed and leaned against the door frame, at least her symptoms weren’t severe. She breathed as evenly as she could manage and ignored the dizziness as she tried to connect to James. It was with incredible difficulty but just for a moment she saw through his eyes and saw Magneto outside the Underground. The connection dropped away and Luna held her head for a moment. ”Well, that’s me out,” Luna grumbled. She could barely stand so would be useless in combat and her telepathy was haphazard right now. It didn’t help that M-pox messed with the mind.

The floor continued to rise up around Antoinette and Edus, or rather, they continued to sink below it. Antoinette was trying her best not to panic but their options were limited. She tried not to move too much either, knowing that would just speed up the process from the movie she watched years and years ago. Unfortunately, Antoinette didn’t have much of a power to get them out of this. And with the shield up around them, she couldn’t create a vine or rope that could pull them out either.
She watched as Bethany tried to help them out of it, while the others stood around talking about what to do. Antoinette watched Mira scream in Iris’s ears and she winced, knowing how loud that scream could get and now what Iris must be hearing or rather, no longer hearing. Hopefully, the damage wouldn’t be permanent. Antoinette returned her attention to her partner, hoping he did have a spell to return the floor to normal, or perhaps levitate them.

Ezekiel listened to the limited information the girl gave them and frowned. It wasn’t a lot to go on but it was a lot they were being hit with. Ezekiel slumped in his seat and twinkled his fingers, playing with the light. ”Oh? I thought having the daughter of the sun titan on our asses was a good thing,” Ezekiel mocked Kristin. ”It is interesting though. I mean my father took over Helios’s job and everything the titan claimed to be his is now my fathers. And a son of Apollo was tasked to be on the mission. Interesting,” Ezekiel mused.
Ezekiel turned and faced the daughter of Circe. ”We are no stranger to death threats so that really isn’t going to stop us from continuing. Is that really the only reason they sent you here? I mean really, did they think that was going to scare us? I’m really starting to think this Echinda is nothing to fear,” Ezekiel goaded and nudged Janelle. He was hoping to make the girl mad or annoyed that they were just pushing this off and slip up into telling them more information.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Catacombs
Skills:

Cassiopeia grabbed onto Rose after Merlin put up the shield to guard their backs. ”And we’re running,” she reminded the redhead and pulled Rose along, whether she wanted to be dragged along or not. She watched in amusement as Colby got mad at one of the skeletons for attacking Matt. Well, how did he expect that not to happen with Matt stopping to sketch the skeletons. Or Colby raising the dead. Cassiopeia was handling the rising dead fairly well she thought but she was still sure she would have been more comfortable if it had been animal bones rather than human.
Merlin opened a door for them and Cassiopeia pushed in Rose after Layla and jumped through herself. She looked behind her as others piled in, watching the skeletons behind the group to see how they were fairing. Cassiopeia took a brief moment to glance around at the new place they found themselves in, wondering if there was a magical wall or a button that could accidentally be pressed and release a horde of spiders or monkeys. Who knew with this place.

Willow Jones

Location: Catacombs
Skills:

Willow grasped Sierra’s hand after she squeezed her arm and ran with her after Merlin and into the room beyond. Willow was glad that even though she chose a dress, she could still pick it up and run fairly easy in it. It had yet to hinder her movements and she appreciated this. A few others barreled into the room behind it and Willow hoped all would be in the room quickly so Merlin could shut the door on the skeletons. The skeletons moved like the rest of them, minus the flesh of a human and it creeped Willow out.
She dropped her skirts and smoothed out her dress with her free hand. It was then she realized she was still gripping Sierra’s hand, rather tightly too. Willow blushed and dropped Sierra’s hand. ”Sorry, “ she whispered, her words tinted with embarrassment. Willow distracted herself by looking around the room they found themselves in and wondered if they had reached their destination yet.
