Cassiopeia Hood

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Cassiopeia was tempted to steal something to eat as well but she wasn’t much for light fingers and so watched Isabella and Rose eat their stolen goods with slight envy. The market was interesting, a type of place Cassiopeia would like to visit on another day where she could look at the products and haggle over prices. So far, Cassiopeia didn’t seem to mind the lifestyle of Camelot. She was used to rugged conditions and could do without a lot of things, like running water and other luxuries.
Cassiopeia was pulled from her thoughts when they reached a door and a slide opened enough for a pair of eyes to look through. It slammed shut a moment later and they were ushered inside.
”Said every mob movie ever,” Cassiopeia whispered to her sister. They walked inside and were told to wait for the boss. Ominous but Cassiopeia did indeed took a seat and put her feet up and looked around. A moment later two people came walking down and introduced themselves as Hansel and Gretel. Sierra mentioned thinking they would be younger to which a gorgeous looking Gretel replied sarcastically.
”And a little less gorgeous,” she noted as she looked at Gretel appraisingly. They brought out a map though and Cassiopeia quickly remembered the task at hand. She glanced at Rose when her mother was mentioned and then quickly went back to memorizing the route with her sister.

Willow Jones

Location: Camelot
Skills:

Willow shuffled along with the group, only moving with them since she was in the middle but she could have easily been distracted and wandered off with all the interesting sights and sounds. They approached a door and Willow stood closer to Sierra as they entered the forign place. It seemed to be a bar of some sort with only a few people and them within the establishment. She didn’t look around much as the infamous Hansel and Gretel greeted theman. She was surprised by their appearance as well but Willow figured nothing they knew of these characters would be true from the stories they grew up on. After all, they weren’t characters in a book, they were real.
Gretel started going over the plan and Willow watched a map being rolled out. She held onto her dress a bit and frowned a little. ’The sewers?” she questioned. Willow wasn’t excited about the idea of walking or crawling around in muck but she supposed they couldn’t just waltz through the square and into the jail to take Rose’s mom. Perhaps wearing a dress wasn’t such a clever idea. Hopefully, they would get a change of clothes for after.

Edus had agreed and was finally sitting down for which Antoinette was grateful for. At least with him sitting she could try and tend to his wounds and bandage them up. She couldn’t heal people with magic but there was something magically about knowing first aid when you were part of a team that was constantly in the heat of battle.
Antoinette wouldn’t get the chance to help though. As Ed’s protection shields dropped, two monkeys came at Antoinette and tackled her to the ground. She tried to grab onto them but it wasn’t working so Antoinette covered her head and face to at least protect those. She didn’t have to struggle long with the monkeys though as Guin took care of all the remaining monkeys.
Antoinette sat up after taking a few deep breaths and surveyed the damage. She was scrapped up, had a few cuts and several more bruises now but at least she was still mobile. Antoinette pushed herself to her feet and noticed that there were giant plants all about them now. She didn’t get much of a time to react as vines shot out and started to wrap people up. They moved so quickly and Antoinette was soon wrapped up, with her arms pinned. She wiggled and struggled to get at least an arm free but then all of her was free and then she was falling. Vaguely, Antoinette thought of a bird and then she hit something hard but found herself cradled. She looked at Pietro who had speeded over and caught her before she could hit the ground.
”Thank you Pietro. I’ve always admired birds and their flight but I have enough respect to know I will never be one,” she said. Once her feet touched the ground, she looked around for the next assault.
Someone shouted out about the board being missing and Antoinette looked around the room. Her and Edus had to roll next. If they could find it in a timely fashion, these vines would disappear but what would be next and how much longer was this game going to be?
”I’ll start looking for it. Ed and I have to roll next anyways,” Antoinette said and started on her search through the shooting vines.
Ezekiel Kel

Ezekiel watched Janelle with a bit of a sad expression as she looked around the dreamworld one last time. Ezekiel resisted the urge he had to reach out and touch her in an effort to try and comfort her. Ezekiel knew Janelle didn’t believe her life to be lesser or diminished because she was blind and now that she knew she was a demi-god, she had more advantages. Ezekiel found himself wondering what Janelle pictured him to look like but he didn’t feel like he would ask anytime soon.
A moment later he was woken up by Janelle and stretched himself out just as the other girl woke up. She smirked at Ezekiel and he raised an eyebrow. Before he could say anything, they were in New Orleans. Sure, it wasn’t information but it was a hand up.
”Thank you kind stranger!” he yelled after her before she disappeared and a car horn blared. Ezekiel smiled at the car and looked around Bourbon Street with a grin. The atmosphere here was incredible! There were many colours and the smell of amazing food. ”Let’s get off the street,” he said. ”Here Janelle, you can take my elbow,” he said and took her wrist and set it on his elbow. Of course, she could pull her hand away if she wanted to navigate on her own.
On the sidewalk now, Ezekiel looked around, trying to see if anything looked familiar like a symbol of gods or the Underworld perhaps. Ezekiel didn’t see anything but he got the strong urge to head West.
”I think we need to head West,” he said and looked at Kristin.

Cassiopeia Hood

Cassiopeia was glad that they were allowed through the gate so simply. It seemed strange to her, being such a large group as they were. Merlin had called them all family, they were the strangest looking family Cassiopeia had ever seen but the guards didn’t even question it. Cassiopeia wondered if something bigger was going on to concern the guards, like the hanging or if Merlin had casted some spell.
On the other side of the gate there was a market that was in full swing. Cassiopeia noted the blacksmith but she also saw a few vendors selling hides and meat. She examined the hides, seeing if they had similar creatures or different ones. Cassiopeia could smell meat cooking and her mouth started to water.
”I would love something to eat,” Cassiopeia whispered to her sister.

Sierra rejoined Willow just before they reached the gate but it didn’t see Matthew nor Colby wanted to talk to her. Willow could understand their aversion but they didn’t have many friends now because of what happened. She thought they would accept a kind word but perhaps it was too soon. Regardless, they reached the gate and we promptly admitted through. Willow smiled kindly at the guards as they passed and then her eyes widened at the market before them.
Willow had gone to a few farmer’s markets with her mother before but she had never seen anything like this. It seemed more colourful here with a lot more commotion and talking. Willow’s eyes wandered towards the jewellery which was not too surprising but she did try to look at the other things as they passed as well.

Edus didn’t listen to Antoinette, trying to push through it so that he could help the others. He volunteered to help Runa with her spell and Antoinette followed along since Edus joined their bubbles. She wasn’t sure she would be able to lend a hand, unsure if a mutant ability was sort of like a magic ability but it was too late to ask. Klara, Edus and Runa joined hands while Runa spoke a spell. The three of them managed to banish most of the monkeys as well as all of the knives. Antoinette immediately watched Edus for the after effects.
”Perhaps now you will sit,” she said, eying him closely. Antoinette turned her attention to the rest of the monkeys and let her eyes sparkle again. She wasn’t going to get better with this power if she didn’t use it and what better way than to practice it in real combat situations. Even if the enemy was monkeys.
A couple monkeys got through Ed’s barrier, coming towards Antoinette and scratched up her ankles and she got a few more cuts but she ignored them as her power charged. Colourful sparks, like the test fireworks on the Fourth of July shot from Antoinette’s hands and at the monkeys. They screeched and protested but weren’t quite down yet. It took considerable effort but Antoinette managed to knock out the three that entered their bubble shield. Antoinette grinned tiredly and looked back at Edus to see how he was fairing.

Luna Braddock - Glimpse

Location: Outside -- Washington D.C.

Luna frowned a bit when James told her what had happened and when he told her to sit back down again. They had Polaris? When did that happen? Clearly having M-Pox was severely throwing Luna out of the loop. What was one more reason for hating a disease and all that came with having it. She couldn’t help the team, not like she was supposed to and now her memory was shot.
Luna’s stomach grumbled as she walked to the Underground but then Sapphire directed a question towards her. Luna stopped and thought about it a moment, trying to ignore the mounting headache.
”Theoretically, I should be able to do it. Is there a chance that I could cause more damage?” Luna wasn’t up to date on how bad Echo’s condition was. She didn’t know if just his legs were paralyzed or the neck down but Luna had faith in her abilities, even in her weakened condition. Ideally, she would like to eat before she attempted this but they were probably on a timeline. The only time she doubted her ability was when she had no control over her thoughts or words when she went loony but as of right now she was the most coherent she had been in over twenty-four hours.
Ezekiel Kel

Ezekiel crossed his arms, watching the new and improved world that they were in and nodded. This could work, he thought to himself. He squinted his eyes at the mention of zombies and nodded. ”I do believe we are in a post-apocalyptic type world now. What fun!” Ezekiel found it all rather amusing, especially when the daughter of Circe started to freak out and go after the zombies that started to come at them.
Ezekiel didn’t seem to care that he was about to be attacked by zombies. The way he saw it was they were in a dream and he wouldn’t actually be hurt in the real world. It turns out Ezekiel wouldn’t be hurt since the girl who was after them in the first place and attacked Ezekiel saved him. He smirked when she said she’d tell them what they wanted to know but Ezekiel wasn’t entirely sure he believed her. She could easily change her mind again once she was awake and try to slice and dice him again. ”Or you could tell us something now, in good faith,” he said and watched the other zombie try to get at him with mild amusement.

Antoinette squeezed Edus’s arm when he told her how he was doing and smiled sadly at her. She could feel they were all starting to get tired and short with each other. Mira did not like Iris at all and that bothered Antoinette a bit. They all had their strengths and weaknesses but what made this team always work so well, was the fact that they could play off each other’s strengths and weaknesses. Where one failed, another would excel and by that, help each other. This game was tearing them apart.

Iris rolled and Antoinette looked around as the monkeys started to appear from small cracks and crevices in the wall. The magic amazed Antoinette but that was short lived as they appeared to have knives and started attacking. Antoinette gasped and reached out to punch and kick the monkeys before they came at her but they got to her first and made a few cuts on her but Antoinette was still managing.

Not all of them were managing though as Edus was losing a lot of blood and the others were all being surrounded. Antoinette remained near Edus, seeing Carolina and Neil working together so she didn’t worry too much about them.

She returned her attention to the monkeys that were trying to keep cutting her. Antoinette’s eyes started to sparkle and sparks flew from her hands and around her as she shot off multiple fireworks at the monkeys attacking her. She managed to fling most of them off them, sending their knives with them but there were still two being overly aggressive. Antoinette switched tactics to her fighting skills, something her father had trained her on long ago. Antoinette used her skills in hand to hand to knock the last two monkeys unconscious and she even managed to avoid getting further cuts.

Antoinette returned her attention to the others, focusing on Edus mainly since he was so near her. She watched him with worry as he bled profusely from a major stab wound in his stomach. ”Sit down Edus,” she coached. They needed to try and stop the bleeding and he was in no condition to heal others. Not when he was already feeling weak and tired.

Luna continued to track the lady bug with a fierce determination, oblivious to Magneto and his group leaving. Luna went to shift herself, losing sight of the ladybug and as she shifted, she could breath. Luna paused a moment before she managed to finally sit up, albeit shakily from her weakened state but as she sat up, she couldn’t help but grin. The dizziness was gone, the difficult breathing gone, as well as the bleeding and nausea. Luna was incredibly drained though and felt like she could sleep for a week straight but she was feeling better and that’s all she really cared about.
Luna looked around, seeing a few people outside still but the Brotherhood was gone. Luna had a vague recollection of them but not much. She couldn’t even remember why they had been here. ”Where did the Brotherhood go?” she asked Sapphire and James. Luna shifted her weight and tried to stand so she could get back into the Underground and have something to eat; hopefully, before she passed out from exhaustion.

Cassiopeia Hood

Location: On The Road Again

”In town for a wedding,” Cassiopeia stated and shrugged. ”Seems simple enough.” She continued to walk with her sister and Rose, listening to Merlin and the description of the city. It sounded like most of the types of kingdoms that were described in books or portrayed in the movies.
They neared the city and Cassiopeia spotted the sign and the walls, announcing that they were nearing Camelot at last. Cassiopeia could see faint torch light and tried to shake off the jitters that came with stepping into unknown territory. She hoped they would be able to find Rose’s mom quickly and save her before she was killed.

Willow Jones

Location: The Road
Skills:

Willow watched Sierra fall back to walk with Matthew and Colby but kept her pace. She watched the reaction of Sierra’s question from Matthew and was sad that he kept himself guarded, even with her. Sierra was simply trying to extend a kind word and give them another ally to lean on. Willow didn’t fall back to speak with them too though, she didn’t want to crowd them or cause a problem. She continued to walk just ahead of them though, glancing back ever so often.
When Willow looked ahead again though, she saw the sign to Camelot and then the walls that protected the city and the castle. Willow’s eyes widened as she took in the sight. This was all really happening and they were truly here in Camelot. It amazed Willow that something she had read and played pretend about could actually be real. That her mother was a princess, or rather a Queen and she the princess.
