Ezekiel smirked when Bryan agreed and turned to walk towards the arena when Bryan hit him on the shoulder in a brotherly way but it held some weight behind it. Zeke stumbled forward a bit before looking at Bryan.
”Now Bry, you wouldn’t be sore about me beating you now would you?” He was sure Bryan wouldn’t take it easy on him but Zeke didn’t mind the push. That was one thing you could count on with training with demi-gods, they never took it easy on you.
Ezekiel ignored the comment from Bryan, since he was one to claim a weapon first, Zeke assumed that comment negated itself. Zeke picked out a sword, similar to his murakumo. He swung it around a few times, walking towards an open area before he turned to face Bryan.
”The usual rules? How many rounds should we go?”

Before she could fire the guards disappeared but in a way that Cassi had seen in all those superhero movies. She knew they weren’t coming back. She relaxed her bow and put her arrow back and looked over at Merlin who looked drained. Layla gave him some water and Cassiopeia looked at Rose. She nudged her, smiling nicely.
”We make a great team,” she noted. Once Merlin was a bit more rested, Cassi looked to him. ”Where can I replenish my arrows?” She definitely needed a few more before they would go on out again.
Layla returned and Cassi shrugged. ”Not bad, tired. I think I’m going to go find the cats and lay down.” Laying down and resting for a bit, even if it was ten minutes, sounded beautiful.

Willow shrank back, a little freaked out when Merlin vaporized every guard in the room. She didn’t want to get on Merlin’s bad side, ever. Willow yawned at the mention of resting and wasn’t opposed to the idea. Sierra nudged her though before walking to a table. Willow smiled and walked on over, setting her bag down on the floor and stretched her sore feet and tight legs out.
Merlin’s next step now was to summon the rest of their family here. Willow was nervous but eager to meet her parents. She had known the stories well of them but those were childhood fairy tales. She wanted to know what they were really like.
”What do you think about meeting your parents? We are so close now…”

They did run into a bit of trouble but Quill seemed to take care of the guards within the room. She smiled and nodded at Quill but he seemed preoccupied with his walkman. Antoinette walked over to where the others were and found her things. She quickly changed back into her normal clothes, discarding the orange suit. After changing she grabbed her bag and followed the others out.
Antoinette fell into step near Ed. ”How are you doing?” They both had been shot a couple of times but Ed had healed her first. She wasn’t sure how he was doing after he got shot the second time.

Once Ezekiel reached Bryan, he was able to assess his injuries which turned out to be minor and healed them all successfully. Zeke offered Bryan a hand to help him stand up and grinned at his half-brother. ”Not many would survive let alone suffer minor injuries from a fall like that Bry. You are certainly built tough,” he noted.
Ezekiel looked around, trying to discover what other sorts of trouble they could get into. He looked back at Bryan, grinning like a cat. ”Should we spar a little?” He didn’t have much else lined up on the agenda for today. He was going to check in with the infirmary later but he didn’t need to pull a shift if he didn’t have to.

Merlin found them hidden in the forest but the group didn’t linger long to discuss what just happened, what was in Sierra’s mystery bag or Jack’s fireball technology. Cassiopeia was momentarily disoriented as Merlin transported them back to his tower. She breathed a sigh of relief and flung an arm over her sister’s shoulders. At least they were safe now. Or, so she thought.
It was pointed out shortly after arriving that they were missing a few bodies in the tower. Cassiopeia groaned, they should have left others behind. It even seemed Hansel and Grettel were missing. There was a knocking sound and Cassiopeia turned around, dropping her arm from Layla’s shoulders. The missing people walked in and Cassi relaxed a fraction until they were informed of guards outside.
The voices announcing they were about to ram the door down didn’t surprise her. She simply notched an arrow and aimed it towards the door.
”Seems we weren’t the only ones having an adventure,” she noted. They started ramming the door and as soon as the guards started to pour through, Cassi fired. She hit three people, injuring them all. It took her a bit to get used to rapidly firing arrows. She had maybe only done that a handful of times. That was something she would need to practice on. Cassi drew a fourth arrow and looked for her next target.

Willow blinked a couple of times when her surroundings changed. It took her a moment to recognize Merlin’s tower but then she was looking back at Sierra. Colby came rushing from a different area of the tower, announcing there were guards outside the tower. Matthew quickly followed, looking haggard and then Willow heard the guards. She turned around, backing up a bit as Merlin asked for time. She watched him walk over to a book and was very interested until she heard the ramming of the door.
Willow jumped at the initial hit, having been caught off guard. The second time the door started to splinter then it quickly gave way. Willow remained in the back of the fray, staying closer to Merlin but still left a few feet between them so she could defend. Willow had never put her kickboxing into real life threatening practice. She hoped she could do it.
There was a guard near them and Willow moved quickly to attack. She swung her leg around but the guard doged before hitting her in the side. Willow crunched over, letting out her breath from the surprise of the hit but she turned quickly on the balls of her feet to retaliate. He dodged her again and Willow narrowed her eyes in frustration. As the familiar movement of her body settled over her, she settled into a more comfortable stance and tried once more. She planted her right foot on the ground and swung around and high to kick him in the head and knock him to the ground. Willow breathed out in relief and turned around, still ready for more.

After they managed to get into the room, Antoinette relaxed somewhat. She saw the people outside starting to float around and she giggled a little until the room dropped dramatically. Antoinette grabbed tightly onto something to keep from being flung around a room. She had never been to an amusement park before but she assumed that’s what those rides were kind of like. It made her stomach do flips but it quickly leveled out and eventually Guin took control.
Their ride in the room was sort but they were closer to leaving now. Antoinette walked out with the others and opted to head to the room where their items would be. She was hoping they would have their clothes so she could change. There wasn’t much else Antoinette carried on herself. She followed behind Quill and Gamora, hoping they wouldn’t run into too much trouble.

Antoinette remained patient while she waited for Klara’s answer. The hesitation didn’t really bother her and smiled as Ed checked in with her. ”I am alright,” she assured him. Her injury was nothing compared to his but she felt a magic course through her body and ease the pain. She was about to protest when Klara agreed and healed up Ed to the point where he wasn’t in as much pain.
”Bless you Klara,” Antoinette thanked before she hurried up the stairs with Ed. They just made it when the two of them got shot again but both injuries were minor. Still, Antoinette sucked in a breath from the initial shock and sting from the shot. She wasn’t enjoying the use of these weapons against her. Antoinette wished she could manipulate the weapons somehow. Instead, she reached out with her own fire power to blast the guards behind her back. Hopefully, a few would fall down the stairs and knock themselves out.
Antoinette managed to knock half of the guards behind them back. Antoinette relaxed and turned to face the front and see how they were managing.

”Only trying to prepare you for the world outside Bry. No one plays fair,” Zeke stated through the exertion of climbing and staying on the wall. Zeke was a firm believer of real world scenarios and using powers to your advantage was one of those scenarios. Zeke surpassed Bryan on the climbing wall and grew excited as he saw the top nearing. That excitement was his downfall though.
Zeke felt the blinding pain of being hit in the face. His eyes watered and he wiggled his nose to keep from sneezing and assuring his nose wasn’t broken. A second later he was hit in the shoulder and let out a loud groan from the impact. He climbed up, dropping his hit arm to shake it out before latching onto the wall again. Bryan was now beside him again. Zeke refocused and pulled himself up the wall, ignoring his half-brother and made it to the top.
He flipped over, landing on his back on the platform and cheered. Zeke rolled onto his stomach to look over the edge and saw Bryan get knocked back down. The climbing tower wasn’t exactly small. Zeke sighed and stood.
”Short lived victory again.” Zeke walked over to the zip line and grabbed onto the next available handle and pushed off. The air was soothing from working up a sweat but he kept his eyes shut as he went. Heights weren’t exactly a favourite thing of Ezekiel’s. Once his feet hit the ground, he turned to go check on Bryan.

As they ran, Cassi heard screaming. She looked back to see the evil lizard man on fire. She had mixed emotions about that but didn’t give much thought to them as she was still running for her life. Rose listened to her luckily enough and Cassi ran with her all the way to the trees.
Once they were in the forest, Cassiopeia turned to see her sister and relaxed, squeezing her hand. Cassi typically knew where her sister was. They were inseparable growing up so of course they were always together. When they weren’t it was like Cassi was missing a limb.

Willow felt a tug on her hand as she ran blindly and stumbled into the new direction. She looked over, seeing Sierra through the fog of fear. Willow held onto Sierra’s hand tightly as they ran out of the building. The guards ran past, not seeming to give them any notice. Either they were invisible again or more concerned with their Master.
Sierra released Willow once they made it to the trees and Willow leaned over, breathing rapidly. She swallowed and stood up, placing a hand over her heart and looked over to see a bag in Sierra’s hand.
”Sierra, what is that?” Her voice was full of nerves. She wasn’t sure picking up random things in a magical forest outside of Rumpelstiltskin’s hideout was the best idea.

With Ed’s shield protecting them, the group moved quickly and Antoniette felt a growing comfort as they walked. She was feeling ready to start using her power without the risk of hitting one of their own when Ed’s shield dropped. Antoinette heard gunfire and then felt the initial searing pain of being shot course through her. She was half distracted though at having seen Ed get shot worse than her. She dropped down to him, her own wound faded to a sting. Antoinette blocked most of him to prevent from getting shot again and she looked back at Klara.

”Klara, could you use your water to help with Ed’s burn?”

Guards were still coming after them and Antoinette could see them from her vantage point. She glared, feeling anger at being shot and her friend getting shot. She raised up, holding her hands out and threw a concentrated blast of fireworks towards the guards and knocked three of them off their path. She returned her attention to Ed and moved to help him so they could keep moving. They were close now.
