Cassiopeia smiles from the soothing movement of Nic’s hand on her back. Her shirt is thin enough to allow her to feel the heat from his hand. Cassi shifts her lips back to Nic’s and kisses him briefly, several times over, before she pulls back and rests her forehead on his.

A smile sat on Cass’ lips while she rested her hands back on Nic’s chest, the gentle breeze caressing both of them. ”I rather enjoy kissing you,” she muses.

Truthfully, Avery hadn’t realized his arm had slipped onto Kimiko’s shoulders. It felt comfortable, natural, that he didn’t really give it a second thought. Just like he didn’t think about how her hand rested on his thigh, completely relaxed. It just felt right, sitting with her, watching whatever was on TV. Even Avery’s wolf seemed to enjoy the mundane moment.

”Ah, well, maybe I can arrange a little run-in,” Avery suggested. He knew it would never happen. Caden was a stickler for maintaining an image, even though he was the one who put the fear of God in them only yesterday.

A commercial came on the TV, bringing Avery back to the present. He felt the pressure on his leg and noted Kimiko’s hand, then his arm around her. He looked at Kimiko, wondering why she hadn’t pushed him away yet, wondering if she liked the feeling just as much as he did. This is a bad idea, Zain, Avery told himself. Maybe he should talk to Caden…

The kiss is slow but passionate. Cass slides her hands to Nic’s neck, holding herself close to him while they kiss. After a moment she pulls back from the kiss to breathe, but she doesn’t stop kissing him completely. Instead, Cass places a kiss on Nic’s cheek, a kiss on his jaw, and then she tilts his head to kiss the other side of his jaw and cheek.

Avery laughed when Kimiko smacked his leg, and his arm slipped off the back of the couch to rest on Kimiko’s shoulders. ”I can heal a broken chest cavity,” he said smirking.

The hit Kimiko wanted to learn wasn’t an easy one, but if anyone could learn it, he guessed it would be Kimiko solely because of her determination. ”I’ll ask Terrance to come over, and you can practice on him.”

Cassiopeia melts forward into Nic when his hand rests on the small of her back. She leaves one hand on his chest while the other holds onto the wrist of the hand tangled in her hair. The kiss consumes her easily because of the way Nic holds her and kisses her.

The wind picks up briefly because of Cassi before it dies back down again. She doesn’t want to lose herself completely. However, she does part Nic’s lips with hers, tasting the mixture of drinks still on his tongue.

Avery smirks when Kimiko whips her head around to look at him. He chuckles are her proposal and concentrations back on the TV for the second round. ”It was incredibly painful going that slow,” he joked.

A note of surprise escapes Cassiopeia’s lips and flashes across her face when Nic so easily moves her onto his lap. She can’t get over how easily he can just move her. Cassi isn’t overweight for her build, but she isn’t exactly Nero or even Kimiko. She had curves, she was well-endowed, and she had muscle mass to her as well.

Nic pushes the intimate further by tilting her chin up so she has to look into his eyes. Cassi’s mouth pops open into a little ‘o’ before he kisses her, and she melts.

Cassi rested her hands on Nic’s chest while they kissed. Her mind went completely blank. All she could feel was Nic, and she didn’t mind the isolated location they were in now.

Avery falls silent once the first round of the fight starts. It goes for the full three minutes before the fighters are split and have one minute to rest.

”If you pull apart my bike and ever want to ride with me again, don’t expect me to go slow,” he said darkly.

Cassiopeia pushes through the desire to blush and turn away from Nic when he matches her energy. Of course, it doesn’t help that Nic had been kneeling in front of her earlier that day, albeit for a different reason, but the image was seared in her mind's eye.

”You can kneel, but only if you want to thank me,” Cassi said, her eyes drifting down the front of Nic’s body. She plucks the fabric of his shirt in her fingers, feeling the material before she walks her fingers up the centre of his chest.

Avery turns his head and has to angle it to look at Kimiko properly. She wasn’t that much shorter than him, but she had sunk further into the couch than he had. ”I think I need to make a tally of how many questions you ask me in a day. Regardless if they are about me or not.” He returned his focus to the screen, watching a new round of fighters enter the cage.

”There are between 3-5 rounds a match, depending on if it is a title fight or not, with a one-minute rest period between each round. The goal is to either win by TKO or omission. Sometimes, fighters will go all three or five rounds, and then it comes down to the judges' score. They are usually looking for form, technique, and how long they have the upper hand over the other fighter. Of course, there are some politics involved, but that’s usually beyond the involvement of the spectator,” he said, roughly explaining the sport to Kimiko.

Cassiopeia shook her head, smiling. ”On the contrary. I find you quite valuable. Far more valuable than I can afford. Unless, of course, you are willing to be paid in other ways,” Cassi said. She cocked her head to the side, looking at Nic rather suggestively.

Avery feels Kimiko jump beside him, and he looks at her apologetically. ”Ah, sorry. I get pretty involved when I watch these things,” Avery said and tried to settle back into the couch and relax. He rested his arm on the back of the couch again, realizing Kimiko had shifted closer to him, and it would be more comfortable if he had his arm out of the way.

Cassiopeia laughed and shifted her position again. She moved so she and Nic were side by side again. ”It’s expensive to have a part-timer,” Cass stated in an effort to defend herself.

As the fight goes on, Avery shifts to the edge of the couch. He is fully engulfed in the fighting on the screen. He always found fighting of any kind to be fascinating and intensive.

The fighters grappled until one tripped up the other and pinned them to the ground. It was a similar move to the one Avery had been practicing this morning. Ground fighting was always challenging, and it was something Avery was hoping to get better at.

”Come on… come on…” He started chanting under his breath until the fighter who was pinned and struggling finally tapped out. ”Yes!” Avery clapped his hands, clearly enjoying the fights.

”From part-timer? You’re an unpaid intern,” Cassiopeia declared. She found herself turning her head to rest it more on Nic’s shoulder, giving him more access to comb his fingers through her hair.

Avery picked up the remote and flipped through the sports channels until he found an MMA fight on the TV.

I'm a face to face person, so the card design will be rather straightforward," Cassiopeia explains. She picks up her cup of cider and sips it, simply enjoying Nic's arm around her and nature around them.

Avery hesitates when Kimiko says she's fine. She peeks over her shoulder at him and it nearly undoes him. Avery ends up pulling his hands back and rubs the back of his neck. "Ya, I think it should be okay. Maybe tomorrow after training we'll do some extra stretching to prevent that from happening," Avery said before he stood up from the couch. He walked over to the tray of alcohol and reached underneath to grab a water bottle for Kimiko.

"I don't even have business cards," she said with a laugh. Cassi sets her plate down and shifts her position so her back is against Nic's side. She drapes his arm over her body and holds onto it like one would with a pillow or a cat.

"Will you help me design business cards?" she asks, tipping her head back to look up at Nic.

The tingling sensation is back when Kimiko moans again. It's just the release, he reminds himself, it has nothing to do with me.

"It's okay," Avery whispers when Kimiko apologizes with her second slip. He loosens his grip and stops kneading her shoulders. "I can stop if you're uncomfortable. I got the major knots loosened anyways."

Caden obliges Nero's orders and moves his kissing up their throat, to the underside of their jaw, and finally presses his lips against theirs. Caden had plans to wait. To ask Nero where they wanted him to go after kissing their jaw, but Caden was of the same mind as Nero's in that moment. He wanted to feel their lips on his again.
