Cassiopeia shifted and turned around to face Nic. She held the bags of candy in one hand, resting her now free hand on Nic’s shoulder. ”Orange hmm? And why should I get a drink you prefer?” She asked and leaned in closer to whisper in Nic’s ear. ”Is it so you can taste it on my lips later?”

Cassiopeia scans the menu, looking for something interesting yet tasty. She paused in her search when Nic whispered in her ear. She smiled, leaning back against Nic while he rested his chin on her shoulder.
”Do you think I should get that? Or try something new?” She turned her head to look at Nic as best she could.

Cassiopeia looked over the rows of colourful candies and hummed over the options and Nic’s questions. ”Anything that’s good,” she said. ”but these jelly candies look good.” Cass grabbed a handful of those to add to the bag she would share with Nic, then grabbed some hard candies. She spun both bags shut and walked towards the counter to look over the different types of Italian sodas that could be made.

”Oh, probably,” she said and grabbed a bag to start filling with all different types of candies for everyone. Then she grabbed a second bag and looked at Nic. ”Okay, now which ones do we want?”

Cassiopeia looks around the shop and gets distracted by the candies. ”Oh, we have to get some of these!” Cassiopeia says excitedly.

Between the two of them, it doesn’t take long to find a shop within ten minutes of their location that sells Italian sodas along with other drinks and food. Once the address is put in the navigation system, Cass relaxes in her seat, claiming Nic’s hand with her own.

”I can do that,” Cass agreed. She waits until Nic gets the car unlocked. She had left her bag inside with her cell phone, knowing she wouldn’t need it here. Once everything is in, Cassi climbs into the passenger seat of the SUV and pulls out her phone to search for a place that’s local.

”Ooo!” Cass exclaims, hopping along happily with a bag in her arms as she thinks about it. ”I really liked that cider you go, so I’m feeling something sweet and bubbly like that. What about you?”

Cassi gets herself to her feet after moving the bags to the bench so they would be easier to grab. ”No, she’s the one who should be sorry,” Cassi said, mildly joking.
Nic beats Cassi to putting hands on the tree, and she smiles. She walks over, setting her hand next to Nic’s.
”They say we’re more than welcome. They liked the extra wind on a warm day,” she said with a laugh. Cass turns and rests her hands on Nic’s arms. ”I’d like that. Any excuse to be outside,” she said and wiggled her bare feet on the ground.
