Depending on how complex slimes can be, my dude and his brood could possible "eat" a tunnel. I actually have a slime character in a different RP for who tunneling his his biggest shtick: Since he can pretty much consume any sort of matter without issue or limitation (aka eat anything), he often uses it to dig underground and through walls.
