Keep the idea alive and monsters, but the town and cites of a modern era have long gone for centuries, and mankind have gone back to the medieval times, and perhaps add in some type of bondage between mankind and Dragon....like Magic.

Not what I was expecting, I may have to drop out. I thought this was an apocalyptic vs monsters, but it's more fantasy with Dragon riding.

@Kenshi I'm not quite sure just yet. I'm flip flopping with how involved in the organization my dude would have been. I don't know yet if I want him to be *really* into worshiping Kheris or it being more of a background belief.
