Race: Half-elf, Half-dwarf His mother was a Mûl and his father was a Surface Dwarf, they were in the same mercenary group and became to rely on each other skills to survive. His mother was a great Warmage and his father an unlikely but impressive Ranger.
Appearance: Lupin stands at 5'11" tall, with dark tanned skin and long fire red hair that is cut short on the sides and the middle kept long and runs down past his shoulders. On the right side of the top of his head is a skeleton screaming tattoo and on the left side is a tattoo of a crown of an ancient tree. His face is rounder than that of an elves with rounder eyes and his ears are more pointed than his elven heritage. On his face he has a black streak that goes over his eyes, underneath his right eye is a tattoo in the shape of a crescent moon and on the top of his left eye is a tattoo of an eclipsed sun. He also has a long fire red beard that goes past his chest. He has a much broader figure from his dwarven father but is still lean and toned in muscle density. He wears brightly colored robe like clothing and his armor which is mostly leather and chain mail are colored in the fashion of dark blue, grey and black.
This is what his armor looks like but doesn't have the helmet as well as the different color scheme
Personality: Lupin is stubborn and bold from his fathers side as well as tactile and a smooth talker that he got from his mom. He has lived a nomadic life so has never had a place to call his home. He wants all the finer things in life, a house, comfortable furniture, all the finest spirits and herbs easily at his disposal. He works hard towards that goal. He likes to drink when he is not working, often partying for days after a big job and smokes natural hallucinogenic drugs all the time and speaks in a laid back tone because of it. He is also kind of greedy and loves a good treasure hunt.
History: Lupin was born into a tribe of nomadic mercenaries, he grew up never having a real home except for the people that were part of the tribe. Always traveling where the work was, since he was a child he was trained to be a warrior, to fight fiercely and effectively with all manner of weapons. And once his magical powers began to appear he was trained in many sorts of magic that would help him become a more effective fighter.
After centuries of being a mercenary he grew tired of the lifestyle of always moving and never settling down in one place, so after his parents had died from battle he decided to leave the tribe. He wanted a home and all the luxuries it provided, not to die old and never getting a chance to rest and enjoy the luxuries the world had to offer. He found that bounty hunting was a way to get to that goal. The jobs paid more, it allowed him to work alone so he didn't have to share his profits and still let him travel whenever he felt like it.
Lupin became very good at his job, he saved villages from murderers, demonic summoners, cultists, thieves, etc. bringing them all to justice and earned him the respect of many people. He would play the role nicely thanking the people and saying things that would make him sound like a real humanitarian, but always making sure he got paid in full. It's not like he doesn't care about the places he helps, he does care, but the feel of money is what really motivates him to take on such jobs.

Example post: Lupin was getting up after guzzling a pint of spirits, the night called to him and he wished to embrace its promise of well deserved sleep before a man came into the tavern ordered a round of food and drink for all. How could he turn that down he thought to himself as he sat back down and held the free drink in his hands as he listened to the man talk. He heard the man spin a tale of failed victory that their efforts only delayed what was coming.
"Eh old man, I have a few questions," he said as he got up again and wobbled a little bit, "if they are such a threat, why have we not seen a large gathering of demons and the like in years? Sure there are small packs of them, hiding in the shadows, I have dealt with such men. But an army? Someone would have seen something of that size by now. How can you be so sure it's not a conspiracy of the nobles to keep us in check? Where is your proof?." He spat out, putting both his hands on the table and leaned towards the man, waiting to hear a reply.
Other: Absorption magic - Lupins magical specialty is able to absorb spells, but requires much of his focus and hand movements, he is able to then transfer the spell back to his opponent, or attach them to a sealing item where they can be released and used at another time. Enchanted deck of cards - These enchanted items are able to seal away spells that Lupin absorbs and stores in the cards, then he reveals the card he is using with his left hand and placing his right hand with two fingers upright by his lips and the rest of his hand closed, he then says "unleash" to activate the card in his left hand and releases the spell contained in it. Inherited talents - He has keen sight and hearing even in the dark, he has minor resistance to magical spells, good at repairing his equipment, agile and strong. Martial Skills - Trained in the style of all manner of combat, to be able to effecienct with the sword, bow and hand to hand combat. For swords his style is like a dance, his bow quick and powerful in short - medium range and his hand to hand combat skills focus on pressure points to slow down or knock out his opponents and then finish them off with his weapons. Sleight of hand - Lupin is trained to be able to make things appear and disappear, often used with his cards to trick his opponents before he uses them.
Baldur waited for the fighting to start... but it never came, the two exchanged words again and the more he watched the more he realized that they were making friends.
"Ah forget about it Tyr the, two have made up, looks like no excitement tonight." He let out a sigh and stood around the lounge for a while taking in all the different beings that are now occupying the ship. It was vast the difference in culture on the ship, so many different races, this mix of species will become interesting later on when they are more settled in their ways and sides are declared, it always happens in a ship, lucky for me I get to deal with plants. Plants don't choose sides, they just want to live. But I guess if push comes to shove the captain has my support, if it weren't for them I would be still floating in space. I owe her that much. he thought to himself.
Then the captain appeared and made a small speech to the people that were there. They were retrieving a group of survivors, including children. He then heard that they needed volunteers to go off ship and help the rescue. Possibly put boots to asses, this lit him up like a sun that finally burst into flame! Finally some action! It's been a while but I can't wait to kill me some droids. He pounded his fists together.
"You have me and my armour, we will protect those survivors with our very lives!" He shouted. This is where he would be able to prove to the ship, the captain and the crew of what value he and Tyr can bring to the ship.
He then heard another immediately volunteer and spoke about making upgrades to their weapons and armour, the scaled creature seemed to know what she was doing as designing ways to better defeat the robotic menace, he quickly got on his comm. "Tyr, meet me in the armory, it looks like we might be getting some long overdue upgrades for a rescue mission." He heard two beeps of comfirmation and quickly turned around and started running behind and soon catching up to the lizard like creature and headed to the armory with it so that he and his armour would be the first in line to be upgraded.
Blast, what was that creature's name, was it K'eve? Oh well it's worth a try.
"K'eve! Keep running but listen to me, I am Baldur, if you can receive information by signal I have a package that I am sending to you so that you can help me right away! The infernal machines already know what I have so there is nothing to hide that they don't already know. This will help you from having to waste time looking for and having to discover yourself." He said as he mentally sent out a package via wireless airwaves.
@Utrax • Tactical Breaching Armour Set aka Tyr with attached heavy machine gun, rockets and bombs and AI allowing the suit to be controlled with his mind to follow him and act as a distraction or to act on it's own only following a mission given by his host, very heavy set armour that can take a major beating and nanobots will make necessary repairs. Also covered in ancient protective runes that enhance the density of the armour and allows for agile movements.
• Hybrid rifle that can switch from semi-automatic to fully automatic as well as change to shoot shotgun shells. Bullets are heavy duty, and high impact to be able to peirce heavy armour.
• Nano technology: My body consists of millions of Nano bots that help repair and maintain his body and Thor armour, it also allows him to take pieces of an enemy ships and add it to his armour to make it stronger when needed. They also give him the ability to camouflage by reflecting images that are behind him to be in front of him, but when he moves you can clearly tell it is him. They also can hack into small systems and open doors. Has many other uses as well but mainly used for these reasons.
• Gladius style sword and war hammer, when I cross the weapons and prays to his gods the runes etched in them ignite with a blue hue, the sword becomes heated and can cut through metal, the hammer, when it makes contact it ignites an explosion of energy on its opponent.
• Gravitational disruption bombs: my body can produce grenades that act as a tiny singularity that pulls all opponents within 5 metres of it towards the centre, getting them out of cover and into a good shooting position.
• Pistol type weapon that shoots tiny sticky grenades instead of bullets that were found to more effective by getting into the small vulnerable spaces and damaging important areas.
• 20 foot long chain hidden in my left arm with a spike that opens when activated, I use it to climb, grab enemies and can send an electrical current through it to disrupt or kill machines. Can grow longer but nanites need to get resources to do so.
It was his motto to be the first on the ground and the last off it in combat and I have to be prepared to do so, fighting is what he was born for.
Kaneda watched as her hands shook as she grabbed to her side and produced another, similar looking herb and placed it in her pipe. The way she reacted told him that she was somehow addicted to the plant that she was now inhaling. Afterwards it seemed that she had calmed down, it was then that he noticed the woman's markings clearly now. Her faded eyes were curiously interesting. The woman shows the qualities of a Fetchling, but her height tells me that she is only a half-blood. He thought to himself as he processed his surroundings. He then noticed smoke coming from her pipe and moving in ways that were not normal. Hmmm intresting, she's a whisper user, what a double edged sword type of herb you use. Rubbing his chin underneath his mask. He then heard the girl comment on where he was from, he pulled his mask off to reveal his face.
Using characteristics from this for his face but with thick long jet black beard. @kidjab
"Yes I am from Kestwa', as beautiful place as it was, it just wasn't for me... And as for this woman." He said rattling the chair with her in it, then reaching for the wanted paper and produced it to the Fetchling "I'm sorry if you didn't hear me before, you seemed a little preoccupied. This woman is Alanna Tolvos and she is wanted for the murder of a local blacksmith and his family. She then proceeded to take everything she could and sell it before trying to leave the city. Lucky for me to catch her speaking to her accomplice and our chase brought us here, isn't that right Alanna." He explained as he messed up her hair. The woman let out a groan in frustration as he messed up her once perfectly combed hair.
He then saw the bartender bring her the drinks. "Ah, Thundervast, that is quite the particular drink, unfortunately for me I have to take this woman in before I can have any of that, just pint of ale please." He said as he put more coin on the table and pushed the other pint of the same drink over to her.
He noticed that her spear was now out of it's resting place and in the hands of the Fetchling. The bartender then produced his pint of ale and he raised it, "happy Shoal to you as well," as he took a drink. It was just what he needed. Then the mood seemed to change, smoke was filling the room, he damned himself for not paying closer attention. He didnt want to have to fight if he absolutely didn't have to. The fetchling suddenly grabbed the womans gag and asked what his name was. The smoke was around her neck and he hoped that she would keep her mouth shut.
"Hey, hey calm down, she's worth less to me dead." he said as he raised his hands showing that he meant no harm. The smoke was getting thick around him. Something clicked in his brain seeing the fetchling so closely, That face, those eyes, the markings, the smoke, I have seen this all before... he thought of the card. This meeting was not by chance. He had to find a way to let her see the card clearly and hopefully explain himself without seeming crazy, a plan formed in his mind. His voice became calm, and low toned for what he was about to say, "Listen, I know your a fetchling, not a fullblood but your features scream fetchling, your markings tell me you are of Ost and I now know that what you were smoking was whisper." His words soon started to come out without him even being able to think about it. "I ask you, do you believe in fate? I believe that most things in life are decided by choice, we make the choices that define our path. But every now and again we hit a major point in our lives that we can't avoid, you may not have paid attention to the signs before, meeting a friend, finding a mentor, invoking your first spell. These are things that are fate, and you and I have just come to a pass." He spoke as a card shot up from his left hand and he put his right hand to his mouth with two fingers upright and said, "Release."
A tornado flashed from the card and a large gust of wind hurled through it, it blew the smoke around and out the windows. Before she could act any further he pulled another card from a hidden pocket, and showed it to her. The card showed a tall mixed blood fetchling woman with dark hair that had signs of red with feathers, bones and beads in it, her eyes were white, dark grey skin with tribal markings all along her face and down the rest of her body. She was back to back with a half-elf that resembled him, around them was a mix of a bright gold light and dark smoke swirling around them.
"You and I are bound somehow. This card, is a wild card of fate, it shows me things, fragments of a future not yet known, it only activates when someone or something is going to intersect with my fate. He explained, then couldn't help himself but continued on, "My name...is Kaneda Darkstar and I have been searching for someone like you for years. What is your name?!" He proclaimed finally, it was then that he was able to stop and looked around for a moment. The room was a mess bottles laid everywhere, only the tables remained unharmed. He then made eye contact with the bartender. "Uh not sure what happened there I've never got that carried away before. I meant to tell you that privately half-blood..." Was all he could muster turning his gaze to the fetchling while putting his hands behind his head, before joining the silence that filled the room. Don't sound crazy I told myself, hah! It appears I have gone completely insane!
